Cline not DQ'ed WTF????

Ok I was hoping to stay off this blog all week but then 3.5 decides to get screwy and go alter a DQ. I think we all talked about 3.5 being boring but OMG it is getting exciting once again.

I wish I had details but I don't know a thing but I do know LTF is now OUT of the playoffs and Brookhaven is IN with Canyon Creek.

Lifetime has to feel like the stepchild, first Flora is DQ'ed AFTER Garland beats LTF and advances to Nats now a DQ is REVERSED and Lifetime is left out of the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if Lifetime Fitness was struck by lightning last night in the storm as well with their luck.

Any details from anyone?? Mr. Kraemer???? Mr. Kaiser???

  2. this does seem a little shady on the DTA/USTA part. how do you make a ruling and then renig on it. If this truly wasn't 100% then you notify the player/captain and allow them to appeal if that is case. You don't jack with all the other teams and do it after the season and alter an entire flight and it's standings. I know this is just the fall but if this was the Spring and with a contending team at any level I think people might go insane. I think I might be joining the side of that crazy guy who ragged on the DTA a few months ago, maybe he was onto something.

  3. The USTA should not DQ anyone until after they have checked all their facts. Once the facts are established and a DQ is issued, then there is no reason for it to be reversed.

  4. A think is is more than one crazy guy who is not happy with the DTA and league administrative processes.

But this appears to be a Texas Section issue.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Well I guess the Lifetime 4.0 will have to take this out on the 4.0 division. Seems crazy and a bit unfair to all involved.

  6. Rumors that Cline knows some of the higher-ups at the USTA Texas Section and they pulled some strings to get his DQ reversed. Nice to know the right people.

  7. Not to get into all the details as I am seeing what recourse we have, if any. But basically, Clines match against Henry Rosen is now being entered as a retirement, and not a win of 6-4, 6-0. This does not count as a "red flag" match against him and thus would not effect the USTAs requirement to be DQd.

Fortunately, my house did not get struck by lightening last night, but I am a little pissed.

  8. I think that's crap _ they are cheating you Bill.

The match against Rosen was 10/11 _ a month ago. Both captains had opportunity to enter/verify the scores. To go back and change now is not fair.

    The DQ should stand.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm very surprised they would make that change after the season. Completely unfair to the team that got taken out of the playoffs. If anything they should have changed the format and let both teams in the playoffs.

  10. Bob Rubel is on a Brookhaven team and he was just named president of the usta texas section. Wonder if he is the higher-up person? hmmmm..

  12. This ranks as one of USTA's biggest screw jobs - and that's saying a lot. They should let LTF in the playoffs. Just think if it happened to your team and guys made changes to their travel plans (it is the weekend before Thanksgiving) only to be told a couple weeks later, uh, never mind. As a fellow captain in LTF's flight, I don't know if I could write an e-mail or have a phone conversation with the USTA that wouldn't get me kicked out for life. How F&^%$#ing stupid is the DTA/USTA?

    ReplyDelete
  13. The problem is that the USTA is like the freaking government, and unless you have connections high up, forget about it. What they've done is simply wrong. Brookhaven did their lobbying and won, now I hope they get their assess handed to them in the playoffs, much like LB Houston did a week ago.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Rubel is the president. That tells me everything I need to know. I thought people in charge were supposed to be fair and objective.

  15. USTA CORRUPTION
Guys, it is real easy to see what happened here.

John Gilpin is the head of all USTA league play for the Texas Section. He is also a Brookhaven Club member. He is friends with John Kramer (3.5 captain)and friends with a lot of the 3.5 Brookhaven team.

This decision was undoubtedly bumped up to John Gilpin and he riled in favor of his buddies at Brookhaven.

    THIS STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN

    ReplyDelete
  16. This is just more of the "if you dont like it, tough crap" attitude of the DTA and the USTA.

  17. FIRST OF ALL TOSHA SMITH WAS TO BLAME FOR THIS, BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T DO HER HOMEWORK PRIOR TO THE " DQ ", AND THEN WHEN SHE DID DO HER HOMEWORK SHE FOUND THAT SHE HAD MADE A MISTAKE. TOO BAD FOR LIFETIME, BUT AFTER ALL THEY REALLY DIDN'T MAKE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS. IF IT HAD BEEN DONE RIGHT IN THE BEGINNING, THEN ALL OF YOU BABIES OUT THERE WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO CRY ABOUT. JUST GROW UP AND LOOK AT THINGS IN THE RIGHT WAY, INSTEAD OF ALL THE TIME JUST WANTING TO BITCH ABOUT SOMETHING.

  18. Ok, this will be my first post on this blog and should help our government and the USTA with difficulties.
If or when decisions are made that affect team tennis or governmental spending they must be transparent. With the world of technology and computers I feel every dime our government spends and every decision the USTA makes that will DQ a player or the reversal of a DQ or make a change in keeping a team out of the play offs must be posted where any person who is a member can view "all" of the information and deciding factors. By showing where the money is being spent or how the decision was made does not mean all players or Americans will like the decision. But it will show the "facts" and “if” the decision or final outcome was made with "ethics" and good judgment or by politics and "whom you know."
Are there not any bylaws and/or time lines for procedures in DQing a person or the reversal of the DQ and how this changes the outcome of the teams who were to be in the playoffs? I am a single father of three children where I change my schedule to try and get some exercise and play for fun while being competitive. This is only my second year in team tennis and for an organization to want to grow tennis and especially at 3.5 to 4.5 level it seems there is quite a bit of irregularities or drama with the organization and those “individuals” who are making the decisions that impact “majority.” It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that rules should be cut and dry. If someone can help me understand why this is so impartial I would appreciate your input.

    ReplyDelete
  19. TexasTech,
Right on! One of the big problems with the USTA and the local DTA is the secretive, behind closed doors decisions. Total lack of TRANSPARENCY. They need to make rules simple, inform us of the rules and then follow the same rules for everyone.

But the people running the DTA and Texas Section are so arrogant they think they can do whatever they want, in secret, wihout any explanation to players.

    ReplyDelete
  20. anon 9:35pm
Thank you JANE GILPIN for your input!

Captains enter scores into TennisLink and then CONFIRM them. Once this has been done it is wrong to go back and change the scores. (Which resulted in the DQ being reversed.) The match in question was played more than a month ago _ too late to change. Very unfair to LTF.

    ReplyDelete
  21. guys again this is not a new thing.
Southern allowed a score change from a match in May to be changed in September that also reversed a Dynamic DQ. This stinks because there obviously was some thought put into finding a way to reverse the DQ without changing a match result, hence a 2,2 score becomes 4,4 and there you go, no strike now.
It is a joke and USTA should be more transparent, I have asked several times to see self-rate forms that wee filled out and have been told they are not viewable which is crap and will allow the lying and cheating to go on, but as long as we keep WHORING ourselves out to DTA, ATA, USTA, etc.. they could care less as they are rolling around in our money laughing to the bank.

    ReplyDelete
  22. New Ar Hacker
    I totally agree
Transparency is lacking in all areas of league administration.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The USTA does not apply rules consistently or fairly to all parties.

The DQ reversal was a POLITICAL decision.

John Gilpin is in charge of all Texas USTA leagues. Jane Gilpin runs DTA leagues. Both are Brookhaven club members and both have many friends at Brookhaven.

Also, Brookhaven provides courts for men's playoffs and for the Texas Sectionals held in Dallas every year.

This was a "good ole boy" decision made to help out someone's friends at Brookhaven. And my Life Time 3.5 team got screwed. So now I watch instead of participating in the fall playoffs.

  24. Just win all your matches like you should have and you would have made the playoffs. Just win and you would be in,

  25. Don't like the u$ta?? Don't play... but if you sign up to play then stfu and accept their world as it is.... really simple.

  26. Hey 7:59 am---- Go to a Davis Cup tie sometime. Look at the primo seats behind the court. Now look at the people sitting in those (unavailable to the public) seats. Those are the USTA "big shots", flown in, housed, dined, etc. on the USTA bill. Do you really think that a decision to DQ or not DQ in 3.5 mens tennis means squat to them? Not as long as you continue to contribute to the u$ta..... The organization isn't about 3.5 tennis, you are only feeding their junior development programs, the tennis channel, and executive perks. So quit your whining and learn how to play tennis so you dont depend on this levels crap......

  27. All I know is that I can't wait to have our team play Cline again, playoffs or next season. I can assure you that whomever plays against Cline will be taking a loss, 6-0 6-1. We'll get him that last red flag one way or another so he can go get his ass kicked in 4.0 just for the fun of it. An next time I see Kraemer I'm gonna ask him why he's such a pretend to be nice guy on the outside, and big big red snapper on the inside.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The DQ reversal was clearly driven by political connections within the usta. The Brookhaven - Kraemer - Glipin connection was too strong to get a fair shake for Life Time Fitness.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Here is the #1 problem, there is no accountability, if these idiots screw up, they have no oversight, trust me I know,I have been close to the DTA for years as well as USTA and I will no longer help them in any way. When you take our funds/donations and help an innercity junior program populated with rich minority kids that turns away in need white kids, there is and excuses drug use among there instuctors then you lose all credability in my book.

    ReplyDelete
  37. USTA screwed up, they fixed it and now some people have to face the facts that they didn't make it...

    ReplyDelete
  38. The facts have been faced and LTF is moving on. But there's no denying that this whole thing was handled in a poor manner. The USTA made a bad call without doing there research correctly. LTF got their hopes up when it happened and had players change plans and schedules to try and win it once the option opened up. The funny thing is that Kraemer waits until November 10th to get with the Fretz captain and state their case to the USTA. Somethings fishy about that deal. If he knew of the DQ and all, why not take care of the incorrect score right after it happened? So sure, on paper it's all good, but the timing and handling of the whole thing is just bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Another case of the blatant jealousy people have again Lifetime Fitness and the "Pool Area Princesses"

    ReplyDelete
  40. Let's face facts. LTF lost their match against Brookhaven fair and square and don't deserve to go to the playoffs. They are just a bunch of cry babies. It's just horrible that they had to change their scheduling in hopes of making the playoffs. Boo hoo.

    ReplyDelete
  41. You know what they say, you are what you eat.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Once again, when the USTA Corrected their error (the disqualification) Brookhaven had a better record than lifetime...Therefore they are in, instead of Lifetime. If Lifetime had done better or any other team had done better for that matter during the season, they'd be in. It's how the league works...The top two are in the rest get ready for Spring...Not everyone gets into the NFl Playoffs either...The NFL takes the top records in each devision...It's not rocket science...

    ReplyDelete
  43. That's not the point, LTF understands that now. Read the post.

    ReplyDelete
  44. someone who spells division with too many e's has no right determining what is and what is not rocket science.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am a 4.5 level player and have been around the DTA for some time. Truth is that the DTA takes your money and tells you it is to help kids but really it goes towards their expensive offices and perks for the people running the organization.

League administration is handled by people who are arrogant and incompetent. I dont know why this guy was DQed and then re-instated. But decisions like this are based on who you know.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Exactly right. And Brookhaven is better at sticking their fat heads up the USTA's ass than playing tennis. Whether it was a legit DQ or not is irrelevant, it's how the whole thing was treated.

Additionally, it is hard to understand how Cline gets two and a suspect third red flag in one season where he only shows four played matches. What gives? Can someone explain that?

    ReplyDelete
  47. It is NOT the DTA that did the DQ - it was the TTA.

    2. Greenhill/Bob Kayser
    3. Brookhaven/John Kraemer

    3.5 Red

    2. Canyon Creek/Michael Jolly
    3. Canyon Creek/Donald Lenehan

    ReplyDelete
  49. These are the facts. Each Monday morning, a computer report is generated by Tosha Smith in the Austin office to identify any unusual results from league play. For any self-rated player, a match will draw a "red flag" should the match be considered "non competitive." A non-competitive match is defined as any match that has the competitor with less than 3 games in a given set. i.e. 6-2, 6-1, or 6-0. If a self-rated player receives 3 red flags in a given season, it automatically will identify the player and result in a DQ.

In Clines case, he played 4 matches with the following inital results:
    Match 1: Singles #1 6-1,6-0
    Match 2: Singles #2 6-4, 6-4
    Match 3: Singles #1 6-4, 6-0
    Match 4: Doubles #1 6-2, 7-5

Per Tosha Smith and the "computer", Matches 1,2, & 4 were considered "non-competitive" resulting in 3 "red flags" and the automatic DQ.

However, in Match 3, Cline actually did not beat his competitor 6-4,6-0 but rather his competitor retired in the first set. Accordingly a new score was entered which is where the match was retired, which was 5-4. When they re-entered this, there was only 2 "red flags" and thus not causing the DQ.

I know......all crazy but it is what it is.

Lifetime isn't complaining about being beat. Brookhaven goes to the play offs fair and square. The complaint is more about how the USTA handled the initial DQ, and then how they handled the subsequent reversal. It basically toyed with 2 teams over the past 2 weeks. There should have been a better way to handle it.

That being said, we wish both teams in our flight the best of luck. No worries on our end --we will be back in the Spring and be a contender.

The best part of this -- I love the Lohan "WTF look" picture on the front of the blog ---clasic!

  50. Scores should not be changed a month after the match was played. Both captains either enter scores or verify them within 48 hours. To change scores more than one month old should not be allowed.

I think the scores were changed only because this was a Brookhaven team with connections back to the Texas Section. The head of all league activity at the Texas Section is John Gilpin _ a long-time DTA officer and Brookhaven club member.

You are naive if you think personal friendships/connections did not play a major role in how this was handled.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Some are you are going a bit crazy over this. If you don't know how the system works then you, as a captain, you think that 6-4 6-0 is the same as a retirement at 5-4. If you don't know that there is a difference between the two scores, then why would you as a captain or player even care if the score is entered 6-4 6-0 or 5-4 with a retirement. I think it is pretty easy to see why the score wasn't changed for 2 months. I have a job, a life, etc. the last thing on my mind is to worry about 6-4 6-0 v. 5-4 retirment. Without knowing the "competitive match" definition stated above, why would you even care. 6-4 6-0 sounds close enough to 5-4 retirement, right? On a second note, the whatever TA that was responsible for the DQ probably should have waited to DQ until all parties were asked. Besides I hear Cline had to sleep with both Rubel and Tosha to get this DQ overturned. If you do that, you deserve to play whatever level you want in my book. Hook 'em!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ok, so if Cline wins a match in the playoffs and one of the sets is 6-2, 6-1, or 6-0, would he then be DQed?

Whomever plays against him and looks to be losing without the possibility of winning, should lose the second set 6-1 just to test how deep the connection between Brookhaven and the TTA, DTA, USTA, or whomever really is. If it happens again, the DTA said that they will not have to use vaseline on Kraemer the second time around.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Bottom line, the best player or teams should not let the end results in the hands of the official or organization that runs the league. The best player or teams should let the score or play speak for itself. It is my understanding the spring season is the one that really counts anyway. When the spring season comes around my hope is there is no controversy or questionable overturns and the team from our area (Dallas) goes to nationals and wins. Sure we all want to win and are still competitive but it is "just" a 3.5 tennis league, where most of the men are over 40 years old, my hope is most of men out there have a life and do not relish on how they do in tennis or this league. Heck my goal is to make it up to a 4.5 level but I am getting older faster then I am getting better, go figure.

    ReplyDelete
  54. That would be your second post and all in one day....don't get addicted now.

Why is it that the TT fans are coming out of the closet this year. Won't be long before you're back in and that should put a few more years on you.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Why have a rule that doesn't allow you to adjust scores after a certain time if you are not going to enforce it. After the time period for adjustment is over, the match should be final. It's the captains' fault that the score wasn't entered correctly. As a captain, I have entered and/or confirmed every score this season. If I ever have a player DQ'ed, I know what to do now.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks coredawg....

Per the 2008 League Tennis Regulations.....

Section 1.05 ..."After match scores have been entered on TennisLink, they must be confirmed by the opposing team within 48-hours of the intial entry or the initial score will be considered valid automatically."

Based on this, Tosha was in the wrong changing the score. Email just fired off to her.

Stay tuned guys....this may get more interesting!!

  57. Bill K,
That's the point. The USTA Texas Section and the DTA do NOT follow the same rules for everyone. They change the rules for a team with personal "connections" to higher-ups within the USTA.

Brookhaven provides courts for men's playoffs every year and also every year they provide courts for the Texas Sectionals. They participate in many USTA and DTA functions.

The guy who is in charge of leagues for all of Texas is John Gilpin, a Brookhaven member, with strong friendships back to many of the 3.5 Brookhaven players.

Local leagues are run by Jane Gilpin, John's wife and also a Brookhaven club member. Both John and Jane shamelessly show favoritism to some teams and deal harshly with others. There is no transparency or sense of fairness in what they do.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Everyone just needs to take it easy on this. I think the DTA / USTA do a good job on a daily basis. Jane and Rubel do an excellent job.

If you are complaining about certain rules and want to change it, volunteer your time just like Jane & Rubel have and be on the board. I'm sure they are always looking for volunteers that are active league players. All I see is grown men blaming other people; just like someone said earlier, if you win all your matches, this shouldnt be an issue. Also, its the visiting captains job to verify on the net that the scores are correct within 24hrs. If you (as a captain) forget to verify, than tough luck, it is what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hey Who Cares, you must be Asian or something. You are making the point exactly yet contradicting yourself. There is a rule, and it wasn't followed, by precisely the DTA and USTA, so obviously they are NOT doing a good job. So shutup and go practice more top spin.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Asian? Are you a 4.0 bumpup? come play with us!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think that the DTA adn USTA used Common Sense here and ended up making the right call.

Yes, it sucks, yes a mistake was made, but in some cases common sense should set precedent over the letter of the law.

I applaud DTA and TTA for using common sense in making the right decision.

And this is coming from someone who can not stand Brookhaven, doesn't know Rubel, doesn't trust Modic, and wouldn't be able to point Jane Gilpen out of a lineup of two. I just get pissed at DTA and USTA when they don't use common sense and for once, i applaud them - if i understand the facts in this scenario correctly. Seems like someone made an honest mistake and this guy should not be punished for the next year bc a captain did not check a score. What am i missing ?

    ReplyDelete
  62. 1. Get on a team with a competent captain that actually PLAYS on that team.

    2. If we go by common sense, that commy Obama wouldn't be president and lets screw the rules and demand a revote.

    3. Jane Gilpin is the fat ass with the tennis outfit that's way too small on her.

    4. If I join the high point team, do I also get the unlimited stir fry and sake with the deal? Do I have to provide my o wn chopsticks or are they included. They can't be made out of bamboo cause they carry disease.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hmm. some serious racial overtones there... Blame your own crew for Obama being President. If Bush didn't screw everything up it would not have happened. the only common sense thing to do was get the GOP out of Washington. Exactly what happened.

For this DQ situation. Bad timing, poor oversight and leadership. Right decision made at the end of the day. I do applaud them for finally arriving at the right outcome. How they got there was screwy.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Hey Cary. I just read your side note about the playoffs. You are right the 4.0 level does have a trophy with Lifetime Fitness already engraved on it. That's for pointing that out. Can't wait to see you put that in the blog tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Why does everyone get so excited about Obama, but nobody replies about the stir fry?

The comment about Obama was only a facicious comment to point out that there are rules, and they should be followed, wrong or right, those are the rules. There's no denying that he is a commy however, at the very least socializes with them as much as you demos want to keep denying that. How can somebody with any moral decency represent ACORN? And there's no denying that Acron is a leftist bullshit organization. Give it time, you'll all be back to reality sooner than later.

Now how about a little Sake anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  66. so how the hell did DTA, TTA, etc.. get this correct? They changed a score 1 month after it happened. What did the Brookhaven captain have a brain fart for a month and then his hoss got DQ'ed and remembered oh yeah they did not play a second set. He is either a cheat or an absolute dumbass.
The 48 hr rule is there for a reason and should not be altered.
Again this is twice that USTA/Section has done this, Southern did the same thing, but changed a score from 4 months prior, making this one seem tame.
I am guessing these guys are taking their Ginko biloba because I can not remember a score from 2 weeks back.

  68. Jane Gilpin and Bob Ruebel do NOT do a good job. They do their job with in secrecy making critical decisions behind closed doors without any regard for fairness and without communication to players.

Putting teams into flights is a great example that others have mentioned often. Every spring we see some flights with 3 or 4 very tough teams and while other flights have only "weak sisters". The DTA refuses to tell us how flighting is done. We suspect that teams are put into flights anyway Jane wants _ rather than a fair seeding process with unseeded teams placed into flights by random draw.

The DTA keeps their flighting process a secret because they know what they are doing is wrong. If they were not ashamed of what they are doing _ they would simply explain it on their websites or inform captains in an email.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey who cares; If you want to know who somebody is and are calling them out, don't you think you should state who you are first? It's real easy to make threats and tell someone you'll beat the fuck out of them when you are an anon yourself. And I'm assuming you are not white based on your comment, but rather Asian or Black. So I hope you know some serious jiu jitsu or something or you may wind up with your own racquet right up your ass. And if you're a brother with any kind of athletic talent, then we know you wouldn't be playing tennis, unless you're 5'5" tall. C ya around tough guy.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Surely Modic or somebody reviews how teams are placed in flights to ensure it is random/fair.

But it certainly would help if the DTA communicated how this was done. A little communication never hurts.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Modic has been a big disappointment. How hard would it be to put something on the website about their process for assigning teams into flights?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Hey tough guy, we are still waiting for you to put your name out there... what's the matter, you can say your going to beat the f out of someone and do it anonymously and feel really tough but wont put your name on it so how tough are you really? That's what I thought... give us your name and I will find you!

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would be very careful on the things you say about the USTA and DTA organizations. They manage a huge section with many member players and numerous leagues and tournaments. Mistakes do happen! Plus, if information was entered in incorrectly then the blame should fall on the captains. I understand lifetimes position! But, it was still a loss the Dq gave them the win and it is the fall season...save it for when it counts! Spring! If you have problems with the USTA and thr DTA then do not play. If, you are going to bitch then have solutions and get involved otherwise shut up and play!

    ReplyDelete
  74. The problem with the DQ overturn is not the overturn itself, but the wait it took to change a score. 1 month??? Did they not see the scores inputted wrong after one week? Why wait until after the DQ to bring up the score correction?
If it was truly a 5-4 retire then it seems odd that the score intially was a 2 straight win. This raises way to many eyebrows for the way it was handled. After one week there should not be any corrections.

    ReplyDelete
  75. So Jock Snot;

you think we should watch what we say about DTA huh?
you think we should respect an organization who allows rampant misappropriation of funds, racism, and drug use in fronts of children
oh your right, I can't wait to get involved!
    don't be so nieve

  76. Please tell me more about the DTA drug use in front of kids.

It is common knowledge that they request funds saying that your $ go to help children but really the DTA spends most of the $ on themselves.

The drugs do not surpprise me but I'd like to know more.

  77. It's pretty clear that Ferrell has a hard on about LTF's loss to BH during the fall season. Turn to the page on "oppositional defiance disorder" and you'll see a pic of MJF, fisted in a hostile and defiant manner against the flavor of the month authority figure.

  78. Hey anonymous, you mother is over here and she's a real hotty. Make your own dinner tonight 'cause I'm gonna make her day. LTF is just a better team. When we played BH this fall, our players were clearly better. We were cheated. I'm just mad that we couldn't pull it off and BH was smarter than us. It's just unfair.

  79. Ferrell, you're a ragin' crazy guy! BH has a great deep team as do OC and GH. These captains acted on behalf of the team. Something you don't have a clue about. You can't accept a loss or blame for making your own destiny (or in this case poor play). Go climb a mountain and get some enlightenment.

  80. LTF is known for whining and/or talking too much and not being able to back it up!!! Starts in 4.0 and filters down to 3.5. It just the way they are. Just my opinion. Really weird.

  81. LTF 4.0 does back it up. 10-2 in spring and 6-1 in fall and will win DCC.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh, you're going to win the DCC AGAIN? It will not happen AGAIN. Too many other good teams. Take for example, one of the H.P. teams (Bazan/Somabut) or O.C. One of these teams will be the winner.

  83. 9:07 poster..I have read your same thread on the blog several times and understand you are upset. But, there is always some bad apples in every organization it is just a fact of life..there is corruption, drugs and sex in every organization. But, your going to let one or maybe more than one bad experience defeat you and turn you into a bitter angry parent...You have given up on yourself and your kid! So, I say ..watch what you say about the DTA observe the issues and get involved to be able to report or change these so called issues. If your so pissed then do something about the problem. I have met many people from the Dta to the Texas section of the Usta and National level personel and the organization as a whole is a class act a step above any other organized sport association I have ever been involved with. Oh..to my anon friend I know you think I am an asshole...thank you for the reminder! I can't wait to kick your ass on the court...again!
