Mixed Update

Quick mixed update and I’ll get back to 4.5 playoff analysis after the holiday break.

10.0 update – Oak Creek has locked up this two team flight.  Next step sectionals.

9.0 update – same story here for SpringPark.  Of course both teams are from SpringPark so a pretty safe bet.

8.0 update – after defeating SpringPark a few weeks ago, Greenhill/Carlson was sitting alone as the only undefeated team in 8.0.  But Team Corey knocked them off that perch.  The loss dropped G/C into second place behind SP on lines.  Greenhill/Mosely and Team Corey are both tied for third with two losses.  Moseley has a one line lead and an easier finish though.

7.0 update – SpringPark sits alone in the undefeated seat but has a potentially tough finishing match with McKinney/Muniz.  High Point/Le sits alone in the one loss seat and looks like they will coast into second place in the flight.  It looks like the Muniz versus Alzuro match could be for third but won’t be played until August 2.

6.0 update – yes, this is something that they actually play.  In yet another two team race, Greenhill/Alzuro has this one locked up.

  3. So Springpark is in FIRST PLACE in 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0? Incredible. Not sure that has ever been done by anyone. Folks we are witnessing domination. The 8.0 team has been a dynasty for years but it looks as if 7.0 and 9.0 want in on some of the action.

  7. Ok. I'm glad to see the Mike's back on the blog. 9:23 is Kelly tooting his own horn and EVERYONE know that 9:37 is zackary with his no "s" grammar. He team win first because he so awesome. We get it, tanking a-holes win mixed. From top to bottom. Except 10.0. I don't think 10.0 has a tanking problem.

  8. I also play 7.0 mix on another team and also think that Springpark win 7.0 as well. They have lot of good player.

  10. I categorically deny that I am posting as to the state of 7.0 mixed tennis in the metroplex. My main objective is to play when called upon and support my team when the situation arises. I am a first time blogger and do my best to stay out of the limelight. Have a great day.

  11. Why would Tony try to win Mix ? Is 4.0 men team will be at Nationals same time mix Sectionals? So I don't see Tony trying to win Citys.

  12. If I Tony I care more about men over mix. 4.0 men will get to national and 4.0 mix probaly wont get to sectional.

  14. What is the playoff format?

    1. If everyone plays each other, there should be no playoff.

    2. Playoff format is 3 vs 2 with winner playing 1. Toni 7.0 has people who aren't on he 40's team. It's alway fun to caption more than 1 team to sectional. For what it wroth.

  17. Who are the best looking female players in mixed?

  18. He also plays like a girl. Has no game plan whatsoever and complains about everything. At almost 50 he is like Rafa, his best days are behind him. He has gone to his last nationals in anything.

  19. Yes, Kelley better look forwerd to playin 55 mix in 4 and a half year. He will not be goin to dominate 18 and 40 like he use to. AND THAT THE TRUF!

  20. Only this blog can turn a conversion about who's a hot chick into mike kelly and his small d!$@.

  21. not just this blog, look back the last 30 blogs. trashing a 50 year old guy who is a solid 4.0 and will win no more tris, combos and mixed seems to be a waste of time. Lets talk about stuff that matters. Like disqualifications and who will replace Rodd Teed.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Agreed. How about Rodd Teed getting a DQ. I think he's playing out of level.

  23. For what it wroth Reed Todd not goin nowhere. He only let caption file greevance and not player. I like Toni and wish him and all his player good luck.
