  1. Seriously - a thread involving 3.5 tennis gets big bold red lettering? This blog becomes more of a joke every day.

  2. Lifetime wins of course.

    ReplyDelete
  3. will Gerber's groin be healed up? Or will he rip something else?

    ReplyDelete
  4. let's get some vote going! hey, admins, can you add it?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Nothing wrong with Gerber's groin, fit as a fiddle.

The question is, where has Ratcliffe been hiding, it seems that he gone back to being his usual vagina self and clammed up.

Ok, Klamecki has been given the option of who he wants to play at singles, and his choices are likely Jones or Yaremenko. How about you Ratcliffe, take your pick in doubles, anyone except big bird, who's it gonna be?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Ratcliffe,
Who you sending against Bennett/Arcaria? Are you gonna send your best line to play them or are you scared?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Does anyone have a guess to the line-ups?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ratcliffe, thanks for the offer and I take you for a man of your word. I choose to play Larry Lipsie. I look forward to making the beanie fly like a frisbie.

    Make it happen.

    LT BL

    ReplyDelete
  9. There you go with your first mistake by taking Ratcliffe at his word. Do you really think he will do that?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Heard Bennet was out for Sunday. Is that true?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yeah, Bennett is out, has an appointment at Jenny Craig so Gerber is playing with Arcaria.

Heard Chris Jones is out this week, what gives?

    ReplyDelete
  12. The only thing Bennett is out to is "out to lunch" probably an all you can eat buffet!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Even if Bennett just finished an all you can eat he and Arcaria would still beat any 3.5 doubles team out there. Bring on the food and bring on the opponets. Bennett and Arcaria rock.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Does Lipsie make the lineup this week? That is scarry if that hack is one Huffines top 8! Huffines has the great 3 players, a couple solid players, and then scraps like Lipsie!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Just keep that sushi slicing, fly swatting Sam Bert off the tennis courts on Sunday. I will be there to watch the match and if I have to watch that guy play tennis again like I did at the Plano Open I will puke! An absolute embarrasement to 3.5 tennis!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Are both teams going to have all their best players?

    ReplyDelete
  17. almost. one or two players are out on each side.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anon 12:31
Believe it or not (probably not), but Gerber is a real nice guy. He does have an ego but no where near what he shows on the blog. Also, Kaiser is a real nice guy as are all the LTF guys. I am sure Sunday will be a great match and may the best team win on that day, and may the loser win the QT and hopefully have a rematch in Cities!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Safin just knocked out of Wimbledon. I wonder who's team he will be on this weekend as a self rate.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Also, why are you blaming LTF for that above statement?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Haha! Thank god there is only 1 match left in the season, Ed may have convinced Safin to play for Huffines team as a self rate with his old junior buddy, Oleg.

    ReplyDelete
  22. HP vs BH, who wins?

    ReplyDelete
  23. BH 3-2
    Huffines 3-2

    ReplyDelete
  24. The Big Turd is not a very good captain. So I have to pick Huffines to win a close one.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Match of the Century? Puhlease. Huffhines wins 4-1. Sweeps singles and 2 lines of doubles. Kaiser checks into AA after this.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I agree, kaiser in AA, gerber in EOC (ego out of control) and benett in biggest loser. Oh and Oleg in LA (liars anonymous). I dont either Huffines or ltf can beat Garland so who cares?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I used to think OC/LT/FW BL was pathetic, after seeing this thread all doubt has been removed.

    ReplyDelete
  28. agree. garland is far superior to both huffines and lifetime. those guys just dont know it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Huffines is going to win. It is going to be close but they are going to win.

    ReplyDelete
  30. What time is the match?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I wonder if Marc has the guts to play singles? I doubt it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Great picture Marc!lol suits the occasion perfectly!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Safin just lost at wimbledon and I heard he is on his way to texas to play #1 singles for Huffhines.

    ReplyDelete
  34. If Kaiser and Ratcliffe were to play the advantage would go to Huffhines. Ratcliffe 2-0 Kaiser 0-2 in league matches but don't bet on either one of them playing!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is going to be a great match! Where’s the match and at what time?

    ReplyDelete
  36. The match is at Huffhines at 2PM Sunday June 28th. See everyone there!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Hey Klamecki, Chris Jones or Oleg Yaremenko are waiting for you if you have the Balls to play Singles this weekend.Since previously stated you can beat either one of them. Let"s find out!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I will be there. Looks like a great match. Sisk and I will have a beer off. I drink 1 beer for every set dropped by LTF. Sisk has to drink one beer for every set dropped by Huffines.

Marc - once again GREAT PIC!!! Your graphics are only outdone by your own next graphics. Nice job.

This should be a great match

    ReplyDelete
  39. Bmo, what makes you think that Sisk is rooting for huffines?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Looks like lifetime singles players are in some kind of funk, they got swept by a very weak team from DCC, one average singles player and one doubles only player against the ltf studs. Not a very good showing by ltf...

    ReplyDelete
  41. Ed, hopefully you will have some balls to play your number 1 doubles line against Arcaria/Bennett or are you going to chicken out?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well - I am not going to root for Huffines. Sisk can't make it though. He said something about playing tennis at Samuel Grand and an old fashioned game of dodge the bullets and muggers or something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  43. BMO -

Since I am evidently going off to AA after the match anyway, I will have a beer for every set lost and every set won for both teams !! Ed - have your cooler stacked deep! See you Sunday!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Predictions!

    Flight A

Huffines 3-2 over LTF (Match of the Century)
    HP 3-2 over BH (Upset!!)
    DCC 4-1 over Hackberry
    Stonebridge 3-2 over LB Houston

    Flight B

    Garland 4-1 over SamGrand
    Westlake 4-1 over LB Houston
    HP 4-1 over OC
    Stonebriar 3-2 over GH

    Flight C

    GH 4-1 over OC
    Lakes 3-2 over SP
    CC 4-1 over Village
    Glen Eagles 4-1 over BH

I would not be shocked if LTF won 3-2 either. It will be close either way! Winner to City, loser to QT and HP will get 3rd in an upset! Garland won Flight B, Westlake gets 2nd, HP gets 3rd. Flight C is a bit more interesting, GH will win the flight, Fretz will get 2nd, and the Lakes will get 3rd by the difference of sets lost to CC. That will be as close as it gets!

Good luck everyone, still a number of teams alive for QT!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Votes 18-18, closest poll we have had in a long time. I would assume Huffines will get slightly more votes in the end because of all the LTF haters!

    ReplyDelete
  46. No, Ed knows he doesn't have anyone to beat Arcaria and Bennett. All he does is go for both singles with his ringers and then play his bes doubles team at line 3. If Gerber wins at singles then Lifetime wins 3-2.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I think Arcaria and Bennett play line 2 or 3 this week because Huffines will put a weak line at 1 doubles.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Arcaria and Bennett get too much credit!!! They will get killed any line they play against HFN.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Win or lose, I'm gonna put a tennis ball right up BBF's kiester. If he doesn't play, his true color (vagina pink) will show. He has no excuse cause he himself listed himself as one of his top 10 players. And one of their players will be out. At least Kaiser never made that claim.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I agree with anon 9:39am.
"B and A" from LTF will beat any Huffines team EASILY. Also LTF has a slight edge in all the other doubles lines.

To win, Huffines must take BOTH singles and somehow eek out a doubles win.

If big-ego Gerber can win his line, then Huffines is toast. If Huffines can take both singles then it will be hard for LTF to sweep all three doubles and Huffines may win 3-2.

    IT ALL DEPENDS ON GERBER.

    ReplyDelete
  51. If it all depends on me, put us down for the win.

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  52. One thing I must say about Gerber, he performs best under pressure. When the matches don't mean didley, he is easily bored. That is also why he enjoys singles or doubles.

    Can't wait til Sunday!

    ReplyDelete
  53. meant to say singles over doubles..

    ReplyDelete
  54. Line #3 singles exhibition match
    Big Bird
    vs.
    Grandpa

    make it happen

    ReplyDelete
  55. That would be like a side stage circus act!

    ReplyDelete
  56. What's LTF's Best line up?

    1# Gerber
    2# Klemecki
    1# bennett/arcadia
    2# demetsenare/chan
    3# hamaty/anderson

    ReplyDelete
  57. What's HUFFS Best line up?

    1# oleg
    2# jones
    1# holly/moore
    2# anderson/robins
    3# molina/rietzer

    ReplyDelete
  58. Why don't both captains just put out the lines now, agree and play no games. That way people can strategize and this thread will become real interesting.

That would be a first and pretty cool. After all, loser still makes playoffs so it's not like all is lost for the loser of this match.

    ReplyDelete
  59. There goes that big Gerber ego again. "Put us down for the win"... I wonder if he said that last week before his match?

By the way anon 2, there is no way stonebridge beats GH in flight be this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Bert has played line 2 all season with the same partner. Anderson plays with Moore or lipsie and then molina and reitzer.

    ReplyDelete
  61. IF THEY DID THAT i DOUBT THEY WOULD STICK TO IT.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Who cares about gh and stonebriar anyways. And gh will lose, that is not the good gh team!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Did Gerber's match last week mean anything? LTF had already won 3 lines with the default right when Gerber's tie break started. You obviously can't read, and Stonebridge is not playing GH either.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Burt's partner is out

    ReplyDelete
  65. Is that the same partner from Smokey and the Bandit?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Can you imagine playing as Bert's doubles partner. You'd have to wear a metal shark suit to prevent from being sliced to death by your own teamate.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bert only slices and dices because no one can figure out how to handle it. If I was him, I would just keep doing it. Seems to be working!

    ReplyDelete
  68. yes it's working great
    he's a 3.5 lifer.

If he ever wants to get better he will have to develop his game.

He could not get out of the first round of a 4.0 tournament

    ReplyDelete
  69. yes, he could. Look at John (jack) smithheisler... no different from Sam Burt and John is able to win many matches at 4.0 with his fucked-up game

    ReplyDelete
  70. What would be Garlands lineup verses these 2 teams lineup when it comes to city?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Sisk versus everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Where is Ed Ratty?
The biggest match of the season and he is no where to be found!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Didnt know Sisk was that good!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Seems like Lifetime is doing all the talking. Is it because they really don't think they are going to Win??? I Guess Huffhines will let their play speak for itself.Win or Lose Lifetime talks too much that"s why they are hated by almost everyone.Cheap Talk doesn"t win tennis matches performance does. We"ll find out soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Talking has them 7-0! Whether they win or lose they are winning! Your point is meaningless.

    ReplyDelete
  76. To Whoever posted Huffhines best line-up Are you from outer space?? Robins is a $,0 and Holy has not played 1 match. Is he their secret weapon??? Or is it Dorris

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think you are underestimating how many people are rooting against Huffhines. Ratcliffe has proven to be a hypocrite that has now convieniently bent the rules because of dreams of winning. Jones and Oleg should not be playing 3.5 tennis and I hope they are not rewarded by having playoff success.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I don't think Huffhines has any weak doubles teams. What the hell are you talking about. All their teams seem to be pretty good. How can you possibly think they are scared to play anybody.Check their records. They will probably stick with players that play together.Who said they are going to be missing players?? Do you really believe that????

    ReplyDelete
  79. Going to be a great match, I'd love to be there drinking with BMO and Kaiser. At 3pm we will have our hands full vs. SG. I like members on both sides and wish them well. I do think if LT tries to load up to win all three doubles, that would be a mistake. I do think Oleg and Chris win singles. No offense to Alan/Marc, it's just my opinion. Bennett/Arcaria is the strongest line on Sunday. HAVE FUN MEN

    ReplyDelete
  80. Are you out of your mind comparing Sam Bert and Jack Smithheisler. They are complete opposites. Sam is a slicer and Jack is a 10 feet over the net pusher (no offense Jack). I have played them both and the one thing they have in common is that they both get a lot of balls back in play. Jack is playing great and is getting better every week. Hopefully next year Jack can play on the 3.5 Huffines team.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Lifetime is the best 3.5 team of all time. Lifetime will kill Garland once they kill Huffines. I am just telling the truth. With Klamaki on their team they are unbeatable. No doubts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Chris J. and Oleg Y. have as much right to be playing 3.5 as Marc K. and Gerber. They are all sand bagging ringers. But I guess that is what you need to win.

    ReplyDelete
  83. they are all ringers but NOT sandbagging or NOT cheating! They are all computer rated 3.5s! Good luck to them all and have great matches!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Sam and Jack are both pushers. That's why I compared them to each other. if you watch their matches, you notice that their games are so similar. I would say Sam's is better as he has mean slice on the ball and Jack has nothing... just a push... If Sam tries harder, he can have better 4.0 record than Jack and his buddy Oleg!

    ReplyDelete
  85. To ANON 9:23 You must have too much too drink like Kaiser did to think that. Your CRAZY!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Huffines doubles are not weak _ they are pretty good. However, LTF doubles are clearly stronger at all three lines. To have ANY chance Huffines must sweep both singles and "luck out" with one of the doubles.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Word is, Klamecki/Gerber will be playing doubles. They played Bennett/Arcaria the other night and kicked their asses.

    ReplyDelete
  88. These anons think they have a clue what is going with Huffines and LTF and they have zero idea!

Huffines does have solid doubles across the board and the LTF doubles teams will have to play well to beat them, just as the Huffines singles will need to play well to beat the LTF singles players.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Some of you anon idiots have no idea what you are talking about! Just looked up arcaria/bennett and they are undefeated at line one all season. Although I couldnt come up with one of there wins against anybody who is any good (playoff teams) so far, so imo the jury is still out.

Not sure if lt bl is going to be playing doubs or singles this week but should be good at either one. Gerber on the other hand (for ltf sake) better be playing singles as I have seen him play doubles and he is terrible!

I am not pulling for either team, just hope for a good match!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I agree with anon, lifetime seems to be doing all of the "talking", that's what people do when they are scared of actually playing. Although I do beleive that big Ed is doing some of the talking also but is doing so anonymously!

    ReplyDelete
  91. If ratty has been playing "his best" doubles line at 3 all season why dosent kaiser but the ringers bennett/arcaria up against them this week and see what happens?

    ReplyDelete
  92. I do not see how LTF is doing all the talking, there is plenty of LTF bashing and you know alot of it is from Huffines!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Sisk, Your comment makes no sense. First you say that it would be a mistake for lft to load up at doubles, then you say that huff will win both singles agains marc and alan? What the hell are you trying to say?

    Confused.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Big john,

You are correct you will have your hands full at sam grand... trying not to get shot, stabbed or broken into. But then again you are from Garland so you should be used to that!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Your are right Bennett/Arcaria have not really played anybody, but their matches have not even been close either, almost all are 6-0, 6-1, or 6-2. In tournaments they have played a couple decent teams, but we will see waht they are made of this weekend. Huffines should be a challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  96. he knows the weaknesses of his protege'....he wants ltf to lose so he wants them to play klamecki at singles where there is a shot he can get beat. at doubles paired with one of their other players, he is a more likely sure win. huffhines singles players can't play doubles well, that is the difference.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Jones and Yaremenko are good, but are by no means unbeatable. LTF has the singles that can beat them if they play well.

    ReplyDelete
  98. 8:34 am, where exactly was it you saw Gerber playing doubles? I see he's played once this season with Chan and they won quite easily against a solid Stonebridge team. I also see he won the consolation dubs recently at the Plano Open with a questionable (based on record) partner. Speak up instead of posting useless info.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Jones and Gerber have not played any 4.0 singles matches in tournaments or league,

both klemecki and oleg have, and can compete at the level,

    should be pretty even,

    ReplyDelete
  100. Anon 9:10
I watched some of the Plano Open and to me it looked as though his partner was carrying Gerber!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Stephen and I have never played Marc and Alan. Nice source of information!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Kim Anderson is a solid 3.0 and will be captaining next seasons LTF 3.5 team.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Hey Tweety, get to work, the Queen hasn't gotten her monthly check yet and is psst off.

    ReplyDelete
  104. That is not true, I am going to captain the 3.5 team and will be providing racquets for the whole team. So ya'll better get use to the two handles quick.

    ReplyDelete
  105. i like both huffines and lifetime and i know the players on both teams. this will be a real good match. it could be 3-2 either way.

i think huffines will win both singles. it wont be easy but they are a little better. Bennett and Arcaria are easily the best 3.5 doubles team in dallas and will definitely win a line for ltf. that means that lft will need to also win the other two doubles lines. i think ltf does have the edge in all the doubles lines and they should prevail 3-2.

    best wishes to both teams.

    ReplyDelete
  106. The Lifetime & Huffines Match is going to be a very close match. The winner of the match will have to at least win one singles match. No way can either team take the win by winning all three double matches. The real wild card will be the temperature / heat and which team has the will to win. It’s going to be very hot on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully both teams have been drinking a lot of water this week.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Gerber is really a doubles player. At times, he just doesn’t know where or what he should be doing. Gerber is better off playing singles.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Someone needs to do more homework.

Molina beat Jones in the final of Waco.
Jones did not start playing singles until recently. He was full time doubles for Oak Creek. He even played doubles on the Oak Creek 4.0 last year.

Just keep that in mind. Ed has a few hands he can play. He could always put Molina in at #2 singles just to mess with people minds. It's kind of nice to have 2 of the top 5 3.5 singles players in the state at your disposal.

    ReplyDelete
  109. oh yeah and one more thing about Huffines...Oleg is the #13 ranked 4.0 singles player in the state.

This match will be great. Is someone bringing a grill? Let's just hope that no one bites an ear off on a change over.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Those singles players are good, but state rankings mean nothing. Those guys play in every tournament and MZ. They collect alot of points doing that, hence they have a very high ranking, but like I said, it means nothing!! They are good and I am not diminishing that, but please do not bring up state rankings!

    ReplyDelete
  111. I think all the ears should be safe as I dont think Prather will be there...

    ReplyDelete
  112. well, 650 people in 4.0 are ranked in the state of Texas... Being in the top means they won matches! So, yes, it means something.

    ReplyDelete
  113. What it means is that he's a cheating sack of shit and should be disqualified and embarrassed to be playing 3.5. Those humm jobs that Ratdick gives him must be really something.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I don't hear anyone talking about LTF's Igor Abadzic. He's a self rate who's played 2 singles matches and won. He was Line 1 over Gerber one of those weeks. Could the crafty Kaiser (ha ha) be holding him back for this match or the playoffs?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Here is the list of the most cheating captains in the metroplex, starting with the least to most morals;

    1. Bender (Yoda)
    2. Sisk (John Candy)
    3. Ratcliffe (Bitter Beer Face)
    4. Hill (Ghandi)
    5. Kraemer (Bobby the Jew)
    6. Pickett (Icepick)
    7. Somabut (Slumdog)
    8. Cory (Nancy)
    9. Kaiser (Big Bird)
    10. Alzurro (Lippy Renata)

Moderators, can we please get a poll up on this, you may break a record with the hits.

    ReplyDelete
  116. If you think winning a MZ is nothing you are wrong. Winning one match on a weekend is one thing. Winnig six matches in a row in weekend is tough.

    ReplyDelete
  117. actually there are very few cheaters but many, many crybabies

    ReplyDelete
  118. Only cheaters win! I want on that list!

    ReplyDelete
  119. yes. we should rename it

    "3.CRY Final Week "

    ReplyDelete
  120. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.

    ReplyDelete
  121. looks like we have one asshole complaining about cheaters probably because he gets his ass kicked regularly.

dallas teams historically have not performed very well at sectionals and we have sent fewer than our fair share of teams to nats. we have good players at every level but very few are truly out of level.

but we do have a few world class whiners that like to post on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Anon 1:48pm.
Being ranked means nothing. Sure he may play some good matches, but if you play in 6 or 7 tourneys and have a 10-10 record then you win some consolation but you get points for every tourney that you enter. Likely losing first round, winning 1 or 2 rounds of conso, then losing again in conso. That means nothing!
Instead, look how far he gets in each tourney and more importantly WHO has he beaten in 4.0 (ranked player, local good Dallas 4.0, etc). That dictates the level of play and I don't see any of that.
Agree with other anon....winning a major of 6 or 7 matches in a weekend is very very tough. Kudos if you do that or have done that.

Anon 2:41. Take a deep breath before you reply and think for a minute. Tourney play and league play don't cross over wins/losses and computer info until the end of each year. Mid year bumps are just based on league info.
Bazan a 4.0? Cary will even tell you he doesn't belong there, especially at singles. But, he is getting better.

    ReplyDelete
  125. the world is now a better place

    ReplyDelete
  126. everyone knows Bazan is no 4.0 player. He is a mid 3.5 to a strong 3.0 He just captains himself and positions himself with stronger players to get the wins.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Regarding tourney players vs once a week players. This weekend could show us the difference in the two. The LT vs Huff match is at 2pm on Sunday. This will be right in the middle of the heat. If you look at Huff team you will see people like M. Anderson, S. Bert, E Molina, Oleg, and C. Jones who have played quite a few tourneys and each has won a tourney. This might favor Huff in the heat because each of these guys has played 5 or 6 matches in a 3 day period.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hey Klamecki,
When you got bumped to 4.0 and appealed to 3.5 some people on these boards called you a pussy. Your reasoning was that you were curious if your rating was appealable and that you had no plans of playing 3.5. You even told everyone not to worry, you would never play down. Well look at you now!!!

    ReplyDelete
  129. That Bazan guy does suck. So bad I won at 4.0 and 4.5 last weekend. :) I plan on doing the same this weekend. I am just getting warmed up for July and August when the real league tennis season starts, I know most of you whiny bitches stop playing in June and sometimes May.

Igor is no ringer by the way I beat him 2 and 3. nice guy though.

I have to cheer for Alan though since he beat me, I am gearing up for a rematch though.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Hey Cary,

Don't listen to all these anons. It's funny how they like to call people out, call you liars, hypocrits, etc., yet they don't post a name by their post. I would say the ultimate in hypocrisy.

Anytime you want to play just let me know and congrats on the wins!

You are exactly right. Same can be said for Huffines. We have almost all computer rated players on both teams. Only assholes cliam "cheating" because they have a mental disorder.

  132. BEST USTA LEAGUE CAPTAINS

    LEVEL 3.0 / BENDER
Best captain in Dallas over last 10 years and maybe in the country. Has the most trips to Sectionals & Nats. (Anyone no how many?) Crafty at handling his line-up and known for getting the most from his players.

    LEVEL 3.5 and 4.0 / SISK
Best captain in Dallas TODAY. Excellent recruiter and great guy. Players are loyal and have fun. Handles his line-up well - routinely out smarting other captains. His teams play their best under pressure. Currently has top teams in both 3.5 and 4.0

    LEVEL 4.0 / SOMABUT
Outstanding recruiter, good sport and his guys love to play for him. He has dominated level 4.0 in Dallas for many years but often falls short at Sectionals. Some guys question his line-up decisions in big matches.

    LEVEL 4.5 / BRANCH
Has totally dominated 4.5 competition in Dallas for many years - but has not had success at Sectionals. Tough, competitve and smart. An excellent recruiter. I hope he takes Sectionals this year!

LET THE ASSHOLES WHINE, THESE CAPTAINS ARE ALL GREAT & THEY PLAY BY THE RULES.

UP & COMERS on their way to LT success:
    Bazan
    Hill
    Ratcliffe
    Noel

  133. To Anons who defend cheating LFT...

He is how your captain and some of your players are hypocrites. They accuse others of cheating and sandbagging while that's exactly what they do themselves!!!

Take Gerber. The guy is very good tennis player and has just beaten a 4.0 player (bazan) who claims to have wins at 4.0 and 4.5 just this past weekend(s). Gerber easily beats the guy in two sets - 1 and 5. Of course, if this would be a real league match, Gerber would throw the match in... as he has already done this season! Hypocrite? YES

Take Klamecki. He said before he is too good for 3.5s and he will never play even if he gets bumped down. Well, here he is, playing in 3.5 tennis. Liar and hypocrite? YES

Take Kaiser. He knows that Gerber is out of the level as well as Klamecki. He knows that some of his players are very good and he hid them for the entire season! So, is he not a hypocrite?! Oh, he only sees 4.0 talent on other teams? What a liar! and really bad one...

    ReplyDelete
  134. Gerber was not bumped after the Fall season you jackass!! Gerber is a computer rated 3.5, end of stort there is nothing hypocritical about it. He has been a computer rate for a couple seasons, no appeal down, nothing! He is a good 3.5 player and will probably be bumped after this season. he is not way out of level, never played college, never self rated out of level. Get over it you clown!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Hey 7:09 a.m., Why don't you sign your name so we can have conversation between men, or are you a mouse?

I am not going to speak for anyone else and could care less about who's cheating or who's not. I will play whomever they put in front of me, and if I am asked by Kaiser to play doubles I will gladly do so. But please stop talking ignorant crap about me being out of level. I started playing tennis 3 years ago and have worked my ass off to get better. I have not appealed or done anything of the sort. And I have never thrown a match nor will I ever throw a match. Say what you want, but if your gonna accuse me of crap, either give some credible info and post your name, otherwise, the crap you put out is meaningless and you are a more than a mouse, a pussy is more like it.

    Gerber

  136. How does Garland match up with Huffines and LTF?

    ReplyDelete
  137. I am NOT from Life Time. But LTF has a bunch of good guys and excellent players. None are out of level. We just have some whining asshole trolling our blog.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Probably the same guy whining about Huffines that is whining about LTF! Someone that wishes they had something to play for this weekend and weekends to come.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Whoever that is has to be both dumb and crazy. The craziest thing that he said is that "Gerber beat a 4.0 player". Anyone that has seen Cary play knows that he is not a 4.0 player.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Oh, so now we determine tennis level based on "looks"?? So, if you have ugly strokes, you can't be 4.0?
Bazan has just beaten some dudes rated 4.0 and 4.5. I don't care how his games "looks" on the court. If someone beats (especially as easy as straight 1 and 5) someone like bazan, then that person is not 3.5.
Gerber, stop holding back and play your real level. I am sure you can beat whomever you play this weekend. Just beat them, don't sandbag, PLEASE! And move the hell up from 3.5s. And go join Eddie, egomaniac!

    ReplyDelete
  141. We have the Blog Moron posting!! It is not how someone looks, it is their game. Cary's ability is a 3.5!

    ReplyDelete
  142. I'll say one thing, this blog is good for a laugh or two!

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  143. Anon 10:35AM

Don't worry, if Gerber or whomever beats one of Huffines singles players, they will be an automatic bump up to 4.0

    ReplyDelete
  144. I heard klemecki ruptured his achilles and is out for sunday

    ReplyDelete
  145. I heard Obama is passing a tax on all 3.5 jicky sandbaggers, you better fess up and move up now!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Don"t worry Gerber will not win in singles that"s why he is going to play doubles. The only thing Klamecki ruptured was his tongue!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  147. Huffines vs LTF -> not that big a deal.

    1) The loser advances to the QT and will easily win. No matter what happens this weekend, BOTH teams will make the DCC

    2) In the DCC BOTH teams will lose handily to Garland

    ReplyDelete
  148. I agree with the above, the loser of the match will actually get more of their money's worth and keep more of their guys at the 3.5 level.

    ReplyDelete
  149. I would stop short of naming Sisk as one of the great 4.0 captains. His team won thier flight. That's all. Let's see if they make it out of the City Championships before we start comparing him to Somabut or anyone else. He has put together a good team. Let's just wait awhile so we can see how good.

    ReplyDelete
  150. How does Sisks 3.5 roster matchup with Huffines and LTF? The last 2 posters say Garland will beat the other 2 teams with all their ringers?

    ReplyDelete
  151. If Klambaker actually ruptured his achilles he is out for a long time and after the rude statements he has made about permanent 3.5s, that will bring you down a level.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I heard Lipsie popped a hamstring, running around his half of the court after he won a point last night!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  153. Your not really stupid enough too believe anything is wrong with Klamecki are you just another LIE!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  154. Lipsie also lost his voice after screaming in celebration that he won a point at 15-15 on a ball that hit the tape and trickled over!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  155. gerber dislocated his shoulder patting himself on the back

    ReplyDelete
  156. oh great Gerber is a 5.0 when he uses his other arm!

    ReplyDelete
  157. wow, there is a brilliant comment. the players will determine the outcome not the blog comments. someone alert the media about this wonderful discovery!

    ReplyDelete
  158. Hey this is Kaiser and I've had a couple shots of tequila, beats this tennis bullshit. One thing is for sure, if I hear Ratcliffe cheering on the sidelines like a little cheerleading bitch, I'm gonna slap him so hard his dentures will end up at Sammuel Grand. And we all know they won't last but 5 minutes in that hood before some other toothless wonder is wearing them. Man I am actually so not looking forward to playing at that hell hole Huffines. Luckily I have a bud with bullet proof vests so don't be surprised when our team shows up wearing them.

    Big Bird

    ReplyDelete
  159. Hate to say it, but based on athleticism, Ratcliffe probably takes Big Bird in a throwdown

    ReplyDelete
  160. Perhaps so, but Ratdick is gonna have to go for his knees to take him down, cause at 5'3", no way he reaches Kaiser's mug.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Ratcliffe is a more knowledgable captain than Kaiser. Both are good guys.

    ReplyDelete
  162. what i cant figure out is how why ltf allows kaiser to be their captain? the guys a dork and not too bright. at some point thats going to hurt the team. ltf always has strong teams and excellent players. why dont they find a decent cap?

    ReplyDelete
  163. Being a captain is not the easiest thing in the world, and as previously mentioned, you have to be an a-hole and be willing to piss people off in order to be successful. There are always going to be people that want to play every week and will be psst off at somebody when they don't. Or they think they are better then somebody else playing or have other opinions on lineups, etc. etc. So Kaiser may be a dork, but he's also doing the best with what he has. But the ltf team will likely be breaking up after this season so any volunteers that have the above attributes are welcome to step up to the podium.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I am not sure why you guys are getting all worked up about the huff/ltf match. It will be a no contest. There is absolutly not way ltf can win a singles line, they might be lucky not to get double bageled. Hell the great gerber couldnt even beat sam burt. I dont know that much about igor but he will be in big trouble as well.

It should come down to doubles and its really hard to sweep all three doubs lines.

    ReplyDelete
  165. LTF vs Huffrines -> not that big a deal. both will end up in the dcc. then they will battle to see which team finishes 2nd place behind garland.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Does Dallas 3.5 get to send a wild card to Sectionals this year? Have those bastards at the Texas Secvtion told us yet???

    ReplyDelete
  167. LTF could do a lot better. That's pretty obvious.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Mr. 4:20 pm, thanks for the vote of confidence, but I already captain a 3.5 team which is exactly why I know what it takes.

    Ratcliffe

    ReplyDelete
  169. I haven't looked at the 3.5 blog in a long time but what else is there to do at 6am on a Sunday morn. How can I not be in the top 10 of cheatin captains? I had the biggest ringer in 4.0 tennis in recent history last season.

    ReplyDelete
  170. when and where is QT and City? Not sure where to find this.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Playoffs are July 10 - 12
    City Championships July 17-19

Where - various locations (Brookhaven, LBH, etc)

    ReplyDelete
  172. only true way to rank top captains is by # of times they have made sectionals and nats. that's what everyone is playing for.

    sp/jim,
im sure you are a great cap. how many teams have u taken to sectionals and nats?

    ReplyDelete
  173. THIS IS THE WAY OF USTA LEAGUE TENNIS
Great captains win our local competition and take their teams on to Sectionals and sometimes Nats. Disgruntled and jealous assholes call them cheaters. The more victories you earn the more the whiners cry!

    ReplyDelete
  174. Never taken a team to nat'ls. Sr team missed sectionals this year for the first time in 4 years. Our reg. 4.0 team has been to sectionals last 2 years.

    ReplyDelete
  175. I worship Eddie Hill, even when he records the wrong scores:June 28, 2009 at 4:33 PM

But Jim, I heard you're also going to nationals later this year in mixed 8.0. Is this true?

    ReplyDelete
  176. Huffhines won 3-2. Swept singles and won line 3 dubs.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Looks like big-ego Gerber got wacked!

    ReplyDelete
  178. SP Jim,
You cant be considered a first class cheater until you make nats. but we give you points for good effort.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Wow, looks like a 3rd set tiebreaker on line 3 doubles was the difference.

    ReplyDelete
  180. no team ever goes anywhere that can't hold at least 1 preferably both singles lines. Beginner team tennis 101.

    ReplyDelete
  181. no whinning . . . Huffines won fair and square.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Anon 6/24 1:49 pm
GREAT ANALYSIS. U ARE THE BEST!

    ReplyDelete
  183. I heard Marc K. did not play singles like first thought. I wonder if Marc would have been more of a challenge for Chris Jones. Gerber's game was a game of a pushing the ball. Big first serve and push and push and push and never take any risk. Wow, if pushing is the way to win I rather go for my shots and miss some but go out like a man.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Huffines wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  185. I wonder how Chris Jones, from Huffines, will match up against Garlands self-rated players. Doubles is going to be the key.

    ReplyDelete
  186. Great tennis from both Lifetime and Huffines. It was fun to watch some good tennis. You can feel the pressure from both teams. It was like a Davis Cup Tie. Not bad for a recreational tennis match.

    ReplyDelete
  187. Finally we know who is better Lifetime or Huffines. Huffines. Marc K. did not make the difference.

    ReplyDelete
  188. 7:53 pm; I got beat today and that's the way it goes. Oleg is a very nice guy and you can tell he's got game and been playing for a while. I am not a pusher, but that's the strategy I used today cause based on what I'd heard and seen, Oleg likes to go for it alot. He definately did not go for it either and was pushing everything right back, he just did a better job of it. It was a tight match and Huffines pulled it out, our hats of to them and hopefully we'll get a second chance soon enough.

Now as far as going out like a man, just post your name and challenge away, and show us how good you really are.

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  189. It sounds like snob 7:53 was there. He says he heard Marc did not play then he states gerber's game was push, push, push. He must have been watching. Come forward and state who you are.

    ReplyDelete
  190. Love how Sisk managed a few scores today, his bull shit never ends.

    ReplyDelete
  191. Wow, Good match between huffines/ Ltf. It looks like LTF tried to win all doubles lines. As I mentioned earlier, would be a mistake. I would have tried to spread the talent out. Klameeki told me Chris or Oleg didn't scare him, I don't understand why he didn't play singles. Congrats to GRANDPA! Any team want to scrimmage, we are open.

    ReplyDelete
  192. Big John,

I wouldn't mind scrimmaging, can def. use the practice. What's your email address?

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  193. thats one of the problems with our usta 3.5 league. a top team like huffines or lft or garland plays a lot of shitty, noncompetitive matches just to have a few good matches at the end of the season. the majority of the matches are not very good.

    ReplyDelete
  194. That is tennis. From juniors, to USTA leagues, to the pros. This week's Wimbeldon matches should be much better than last week.

    ReplyDelete
  195. Gerber: "Put us down for the win"

What do u say now big mouth?
