3.5 Week Three - Results!

Mother's Day Bye Week WTF?!?!?!
What is this, TCD?
3.5 A
"The Huff-Whines' Boys" won again this week 3-2.
The match was not as close as the score appears.

And in the Match of the Week.
Lifetime Man-Handled Brookhaven 4-1.
It will take a Miracle for Brookhaven to get back into the play-off picture.
To have any hope of seeing the post season they will have to beat HuffWhines next month, and I just don't see that happening.

I don't see anything else in this flight worth mentioning.

3.5A Team Standings

3.5 B
We had a couple cadiates this week for the Epic Fail of the Week but I am going to go with:
High Point/Jameson
Sorry you couldn't keep up the pace.
HP went down tamely to Westlake only winning 2 sets and a total of 33 games.
There is no shame in losing, but they went down without a fight.
With Garland and the Surprising Sam Grand in the hunt I'm calling HP DOA for the spring season.

Garland beat LB 4 -1,
and
Sam Grand Swept Oak Creek and finds themselves in first place after 3 weeks!!!
Who are these Guys????

3.5B Team Standings

3.5 C
SpringPark announced themselves as a contender this week taking down Canyon Creek 4 -1.
Is Springpark for real or is Canyon Creek Fail?
We should know for sure when Springpark and Greenhill go at it on 5/17/09.

Greenhill squeaked passed the Lakes 3-2 to stay undefeated.

Oak Creek bounced back with a sweep over the Village.

And Fretz Sweepted LB to find them selves in the #1 spot this week.

3.5C Team Standings

Match of the Week 05/17/2009 :
Greenhill/Kayser @ Springpark/Abbruzzese

  1. Brookhaven has the playoff bid already from winning last season. They likely only care about getting their players the 2 match minimum to get the qualified. But having said that, it was a pretty easy win for LT regardless.

  2. Interesting, I had forgotten about the Fall.

I am becoming less of a fan of the Fall.

A lot changes between the Fall and Spring seasons, and I think we have seen it on a few occasions where the fall winner doesn't belong in the play-offs or uses it as a ploy to hide their stronger players.

When my OC team won the fall a few years ago e had several players bumped to 4.0 and got de-pants in the spring play-offs by Bazan's team, I believe.
If our team would have been kept intact we would have been right there.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yep Marc the whole fall to spring this is wierd and I hope it does change at some point but remains competitive but doesn't tie in to make our season essentially year round.

I do remember that Bazan sweep over OC that actually helped us get into sectionals pretty easily because our individual matches were pretty strong in the tiebreaker.

Brookhaven might be in a similar situation this year although I think they will have an outside chance to at least score one upset at the DCC.

The HP result is a surprise to me, I know they were looking forward to this season or maybe they are waiting for 2010 when the entire 4.0 CC/Charbeneau team will join them at 3.5.

    ReplyDelete
  4. 4.0 Fall in FW for 2010? We need to boost the economy out west, what do you think Marc?

    ReplyDelete
  5. I was surprised with the Brookhaven line up, and they did not come at us with their strongest players. Mitterer, Waters, Montgomery were some of the few missing. Even with the automatic ticket to the playoffs, I would still think they would want to see what they are capable of, and try to at least knock out a team like ours and reduce our chances to even going to the playoffs.

They did have the mighty Strohl there but he had just got back from Mexico and I think he was playing with the Swine Flu. He looked like crap but all of his players assured me that's how he always looks. I know they were lying because I remembering him picking up all those SMU girls on St. Patty's Day which knocked him out of the March Brookhaven tournament. Regardless, he still is the mighty Strohl and easily kicked my butt on the court.

All kidding aside, Glen was fun to play and quite humble. I wish I would have just given him a better 2nd set.

  6. Hell yeah,
Let do a Ft Worth Invasion!

I have been wanting to put together a Team in the Flower Mound Area for a while.

The issue is finding a supportive facility to play in.

The situation at Wellington is pretty unstable.

The only other facility that I think could work would be Wagon Wheel in Coppell, Their court fees are an issue.

  7. Huffhines is the best computer-rated 3.5 team sectionally and maybe even nationally.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Takes more than computer ranks to win Nats, much less Sectionals.

    Ask Sisk.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I think Ratcliffe and Kaiser should play a singles match. Loser must move down to 3.0, and winner must agree to never post again. I think that would be a win-win for all. After that, the winner takes on Alzuro. We need to clean up 3.5 by getting rid of the retards and that should be an easy way of doing it. Heck, we can arrange to have the short bus pick you guys up on the way to the match, you'll feel like you're in school all over again......

    ReplyDelete
  10. Incognito, Getting rid of the retards would be easy. Get rid of yourself. With all the stupid staements that you make only proves how little you know about some of the better teams and players. If we knew who you are maybe we can arrange a couple of matches with the players you keep downgrading!! Sounds to me like you"re just mad because you are probably not on 1 of the better teams!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. If there is a 3.5 retard singles tourney, sign me up that is my game in a nutshell.

    ReplyDelete
  12. ANON1 & ANON2 I enjoy your predictions. When will you be making them? Looks like you were both off base with Canyon Creek in the C flight. It still depends who the captain plays that week and that is out of your control.

    GH BK

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey Grandpappy, don't get so bitter, it's not making you any prettier. Fine, I'll take on the winner of you and Kaiser, but I'll follow the short bus to the match if it's ok with you. And if I win, you have to promise to let me on your team next season. Deal?

    ReplyDelete
  14. No predictions yet because I am out buying Mom something nice. Also still in shock seeing HP fall in flight B and Fretz on top of the leader board in flight C. Fretz undefeated in week 3 ?? Who would have guessed.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Incognito -

If there is any short bus, you're the one driving it.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don"t need to play kaiser we have no problem you are the problem!!You have a deal.It will really be hard for you to live down getting beaten by an Old Man that can"t even break into his own teams line-up. Let"s get it on!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. First you have to beat Kaiser or there's no deal. I think he could take you, and if I do end up playing you, I'm gonna have to wear blinders or something.

Anon 1, what's the matter, am I brining back memories of the "short bus" driver that used to harrass you retards all the time? If you want me to be him, pretend away big fella.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Incognito - I know Ed and will more than oblige to play him. Only problem you have is that you will have to reveal your identity. Are you willing to do that so the winner knows who he will be playing ???

    ReplyDelete
  19. I found a pic of old ed playing tennis! Kaiser and his size 18 feet have his hands full!! I hope his wheels are not black bottom to leave scuff marks on teh court.

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/rvp/2843986522/

Yes, Incognito, you really going to give up your identity? You may not need to as you can probably beat either one of those two with a bag over your head!!

And LOL at Huff Whines being the best team sectionally and maybe nationally. Way to jump the gun 3 matches into the season.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I forgot, kaiser is not available to play, he was spotted at the beach yesterday, or at least signs that he is there.

  21. After thinking about it, I've decided to do a little charity benefit and sponsor the Retard Open. Seeds are as follow;

    (1) Lucky Thunder - Bazan
    (2) Big Bird - Kaiser
    (3) Bitter Beer Face - Ratcliffe
    (4) Lippy Renata - Alzuro

The winner of this tourny must play the British Ninja, aka Mr. 3.0tourny sandbagger. If and only if you can get by this savvy player, will you get a chance at Incognito - half black/half latino, and living in a trailer. Schedule is coming soon, stay posted.

    ReplyDelete
  22. To Incognito & Ugly Anon, You 2 guys seem to think you are making the rules when you won"t accept a challenge from someone by twisting the facts-I don"t care about Kaiser,Bazan or Alzuro whoever he is.My challenge is to 1 or both of you.You can wear masks like the wrestlers do so noboby will know who you are. A singles match with Incognito which you already declined or a doubles match with me and 1 of my teams players at my choosing. If you decline this Challenge again then just Shut Up.No more BULLSHIT from you!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ed,

May I accept this challenge. Make it doubles - I bring the 3.5 partner of my choice.

Schedule for this coming Sat at either HP, Fretz or the Village.

Smack you so hard your dentures will fall out.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ratty; Why do you insist on jumping the gun? Word is you're a solid 3.0 at best and therefore you must win the retard open prior to playing proven players such as incognito/ugly anon.

Further to that, it sounds like anon1 would like a piece of gramps as well. Why don't you and loudmouth suckup Prather (a 3.5 wannabe) team up to play anon1 and his partner. Just a little advice though, play at HP or the village, cause some old man at Fretz may steal your dentures when anon1 slaps them out of your face. Then you'll have to ride home looking like bitter beer face the whole way.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bill Kaiser- Thanks for your comments. The tennis was fun but not great on either side. Oh well. Oink.. Oink...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sounds like Prather wants a spot in the Retard Open!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Incognito, There you go again avoiding the subject!! Nobody knows if you are a proven player or not. No responce from Ugly Anon. To Anon1-This week there are league matches but the following week is an off-week so let"s do it then. Let me set it up at Huffhines since I think we"ll have a BIG crowd of fans wanting to see the match. Let me know!!!!Sunday May 24th would be the best day. Also Incognito I don"t wear dentures and am not as Ugly as you probably are.Keep the insults coming they are Really Funny!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't play with retards, it is mean and unfair! Sorry, but I have to decline Grandpa Ed. Good luck in the Retard Open.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Relax gramps, you take this stuff a little too seriously. And besides, I didn't say you had dentures, that was anon1. I'm definately coming to watch that match, just hope it's not too hot cause those wrestler masks can get uncomfortable!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Damn Strohl is bashing one of the Retard Open guys. You beat Kaiser and his partner in straight sets last week and then claim you did so playing sub par tennis! I think that is a backhanded slap in the face. What does this say about Kaiser if you beat him rather easily and still did not play well. Maybe Kaiser (Big Bird) should be the 4 seed in the Retard Open rather than 2!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Come on. I said the tennis sucked on both sides of the net. No harm / no foul.....

    ReplyDelete
  32. Exactly! You sucked and won! What does that say about the team you beat??

    ReplyDelete
  33. The Anons are evidently back (at least those who know how to register a name). I orginally took the name Anon1 (who posted on May 7 at 2:26 PM), but see there is another Anon1 who has posted and challenged Ratcliff. This is not me but rather a copy cat using another alias name, whom I personally think is Ugly Anon or Incognito. The orignal Anon1 will now no longer post under Anon1, but under a new alias not to be associate with Ugly Anon or Incognito, both losers in my book.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ugly Anon -

Picture of the big feet is funny. O.K. Making fun of paraplegics is not. Tasteless.

In terms of Strohl beating me, Stohl is a solid player and a smart player. As a captain, it is difficult playing and I prefer not to as your attention is often diverted to what your other lines are doing, not to your own court of play. I was not to be in the line up that week but had a player back out last minute and I filled in. No excuses - Strohl is a better player than me and outright beat me, but I would imagine I could have given him a better match without the distractions. Credit is also due to Strohl's partner, Ed, who also played well.

In terms of the retard playoffs, you guys are the retards hiding behind your false identity. ....gutless

    ReplyDelete
  35. Just having fun, but you are right, not something to joke about.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well here we go again, To Bogus Anon1-You are really something 1st you steal someone else"s idenity then make a challenge. What"s your answer???? There is not going to be a retard open that again is diverting the issue. To INCOGNITO, Why don"t you prove I"m a 3.0 player by accepting my earlier challenge made to you. To UGLY ANON, Who the hell gives you the right to call people retards anyway. You think all your comments are funny but most of the people on this blog find it tasteless and degrading. You should think about what your saying before making an ASS of yourself. On These CHALLENGES I"m still waiting for an acceptance from somebody. It ought to be FUN!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Rat Dick your an idiot! I used the term Retard Open, which was the name Incognito came up with for the 4 of you to play. I repeated the term, that is all, and I said I was wrong for even doing that. You are the grumpiest old man!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ugly Anon, You just love to call people names you must really get off on it.I may be old but your the idiot along with Incognito you guys are like brothers One follows the others lead. I"m still waiting for you to accept the challenge.

  40. LOL!!! Same ol' same ol' At LEAST it is a little bit more contained. Normally, there would be 150 posts from the same people by now.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Gramps, the reason we mess with you is because you make it easy for us to have a little fun. If you and guys like Kaiser would just shut the hell up and stop posting arrogant useless shit, like the top 10 on your team (which no doubt includes yourself), then we wouldn't have anything to pick on. And as to the challenge, don't come on here talking big about challenges cause you're not good enough to do so. What if we really played and you got your ass kicked, which I assure would happen, how FUN would that really be. Now go wash the dentures off, make some coffee, take some metamusil, and relax a little bit before replying in anger. It will just give everyone something else to rip you on. And careful before someone steals your own alias and starts posting with it. Wasn't it easier when the anons where around.......

    ReplyDelete
  42. Incognito -

"....you and guys like Kaiser would just shut the hell up and stop posting arrogant useless shit..."

I have never posted anything "useless" or "arrogant". I have made comments only on facts and happenstance. You are the one posting the arrogant useless shit, under a fake identity none the less. Your BS ramblings tells us a lot about your charatcter.....which is shallow and worthless.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I disagree. I like the fact that you know when it is the same teabag posting over and over. I hate the Anon's. Sure would be nice to have another strong showing for a doubles tourney. Then we would know who the breakers and the fakers really are around here.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Kaiser, you are just bitter because there's no 3.0 section on this blog, it's understandable. You need to take your crap back to Sesame Street.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Incognito, I think all you are is big talk!!! Can you back up all your threats about kicking peoples asses. I guess we"ll never know.I challenge and you do all the talking. The old saying is talk is Cheap.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ANON2, how did you determine that Fretz would defeat Lakes 3 to 2? Just curious.

    GH BK

    ReplyDelete
  48. They will sweep singles and Alibalic/Jayaram win their doubles line. Singles could be split, but Fretz could win a 2nd line at doubles.

    ReplyDelete
  49. League representatives always seem to do a good job scheduling the final match to be the on between the 2 favored teams. Makes every match crucial right until the end.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Incognito,
I'm a 3.0 talent playing "out of level" at 3.5. If Kaiser will play w/me, I CHALLENGE YOU and your partner anytime except May 22nd as I have a final doubles match vs. Takashi/Forrest with Corey. I will take a bet though! Keep it clean.

I still don't understand why a 4.5 talent wants to play w/me? Pity?

    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  51. 1. Give it up already with the stupid ass sarcasm. Are you out to protect your little buddy Big Bird? Who do you want to be, the cookie monster, oh never mind, you're way beyond cookies.

    2. Why would I want to play with a cheater like you? If you're a moral-less captain willing to do anything to win, including pissing off your own friends (x-friends that is), then why would I want to risk it. Besides, I might catch the flu.

I'll tell you what, lose the 50 pounds you talked about losing last year and then I'll consider it, but at singles just to make things more fun. And you better hope your serve is working, cause it's a well known fact that if it's not, your as good as pork rinds.

    ReplyDelete
  52. And one more thing, Corey & a "real" 4.5 could not beat Takashi & Forrest, so I don't know why you two clowns are wasting your time.

Hey seriously speaking, do you want to be added to the retard open as a wild card, I think I could pull it off. I can't promise a seed, but a wild card for sure. Let me know.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I don't know why you guys are crying. Huffines wins it all this year. Everyone else is playing for 2nd. That includes you Sisk, Kaiser, and incognito, whomever you are!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Incognito, There you go again declining a challenge by insulting another player wanting a chance to shut you up.As I said before you are all talk and NO ACTION!!! Anon1 or Anon1 copy cat. What about the match you talked about accepting or are you just like Incognito. There as I said before is not going to be a retard open because all you Anon retards won"t play.

    ReplyDelete
  55. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.

  56. Well said, what the hell did grampa say that is well said. And by ladies tennis, I'm assuming you are referring to 3.5ers, and thus you are also insulting your boyfriend Sisk, Ratty, etc. etc. And speaking of that, why do you hang out so much in the 3.5 thread, is that where you really want to be, skirt and all? I've heard you wear a skirt quite a bit, but in this case I'm afraid you must have it pulled up over your ears and your camel toe has been fully exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  57. That actually wasn't my post. I have not been on the computer at all between Thursday night and now so I guess somebody figured out my password. I would never insult 3.5 tennis because the majority of my tennis friends are 3.5 and 4.0 players. Not sure how it happened but hopefully it won't happen again.
I thought the reason to make everybody register was so this couldn't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't think it's fair to say me and a "real 4.5" can't beat Forrest and Takashi. We lost by two points in a third-set tiebreak with me playing my worst doubles of the year. Also, John and I beat a team that they lost to in my tournament so we will see how the finals go.

    ReplyDelete
  59. And Incognito, who have you ever beaten? You are in the 3.5 thread so you are obviously a 3.5 player. All we hear is talk from you with no results to back it up.
    Put up or shut up!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well that wasn't the real incognito either, so put the anons back on or figure this bullshit out because either people can double up on aliases, or they are pretty good at guessing passwords. I'm sure your password "NANCY" was not too difficult to figure out.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Klameci/incognito,
Forrest/Takashi are super strong, 2nd place pays as well and I'll take it. I'm just lucky to be here. Corey does need Doug Fair to win.
Offer still stands for dubs!!! My serve is overrated. It does fail me and chicharrones are great w/pico de gallo.

    Grandpa that was not Corey!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. This blog is just about the most worthless blog in the history of sports blogs. It was supposed to be a forum for talking about Dallas 3.5 USTA tennis, who's got the strong teams, and who's going to win each week. Instead it's been taken over by 3 anonymous jerks with the maturity level of 3rd graders and axes to grind 'cause they didn't get their way. And they're being answered by a handful of guys with more ego than brains.

At the end of the day, who gives a rats ass if you can win or lose a match against some other 4.0 wanna-be. In the game of life, you're all losers.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hey Rawbrain, why don't you define the game of life so we can see who the real loser is. Your alias says it all. If this blog is about what you say it is, then why don't you post something pertinent, not just something contributing to exactly what you are knocking. Go bite yourself you useless idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The post that wasn't you was consistent with your other namecalling posts. If you are not going to accept a challenge from anybody than stop insulting them.

  65. Prediction Results

Fligt A (2-1 with HP scores pending). Thought JCC could pull it out against LBH 3-2, but it went the other way.

Flight B (3-1) with Sam Grand getting crushed by the previous 0-3 Canyon Creek.

Flight C (3-1) Stick a fork in Canyon Creek, losing their 2nd match. This division is by far the weakest with Greenhill the only contender. I mean Fretz is at the top with a similar team that went 3-5 in the Fall. I did predict the Lakes/Fretz match correctly, as GH REK was questioning my logic.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hey Anon2, You got the HP - Stonebridge match wrong but it was a very close match. All 5 lines went to a 3rd set tie-break and 4 of the 5 lines also had a 1st or 2nd set tie-break.

    ReplyDelete
  67. ANON2, I would NOT question your logic, I was just curious what it was. I thought the match would be 3-2, but wasn't sure which team would have the 3.

  68. Since the blog has been so slow, I will post my week 5 predictions now! I do not know how you come up with a match of the week out of these matchups. None of the top teams play one another, maybe HP against Sam Grand or Fretz against SP.

    Flight A

    LTF 5-0 over Hackberry
    BH 4-1 over LBH
    DCC 3-2 over HP
    JCC 3-2 over Stonebridge

    Flight B

    Garland 4-1 over CC
    Westlake 4-1 over Stonebriar
    HP 3-2 over SamGrand
    OC 3-2 over GH

    Flight C

    Fretz 3-2 over SP
    GH 5-0 over Glen Eagles
    Lakes 3-2 over OC
    BH 3-2 over Villages

    ReplyDelete
  70. This was posted in the 4.0 blog, curious as to what sand bagger Chris Jones has to say about this. Is this true? I'm sure Grandpa Ed will come to his defense!!

"This guy changed his 4.0T USTA Account-He changed the spelling to Chrs Jones(without the "i" in Chris) and he chaged the residence to Frisco because there is a Legit Christopher Jones in Frisco who plays 3.5 league and is in fact a real 3.5. He made these changes yesterday when he knew that someone was onto him. He received the 4.0 "T" rating because he played and did well in a 4.0 tourney in Austin last year(The Sun-brr tourney in July of 2008). His doubles partner was Philip Williamson from Austin. However, he really wanted to be a 3.5 so he opened up another USTA account and intentionally lost some 3.5 league matches in a meaningless Dallas Fall league toward the end of 2008. Thats the facts."

    ReplyDelete
  71. Grampa, is that correct? If so, that's 100% certified bullshit. And I'm sure you knew about it too. You may surpass Swine Flu Sisk with this one.

    ReplyDelete
  72. That's like the most common name in the world, there's 100's with that name in the system. There is no evidence or proof the guy did anything wrong, just coincidence. It looks to me like there is a pissed off captain sitting around trying to stir the pot, probably Anon2.

    ReplyDelete
  73. You're right, Chris Jones is a very common name. But yesterday there were two Chris Jones from Coppell that played USTA. One was a 4.0 and one was a 3.5. Then after the inquiry there was only one Chris Jones from Coppell, the 3.5. The 4.0 changed his first name to Chrs and changed the city to Frisco. That to me looks like he is worried someone is on to him.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Maybe the guy from Frisco updated his info? Maybe the USTA messed up addresses? Surely someone would of seen this before if this had been the case last Fall.

    ReplyDelete
  75. The guy from Frisco changed his city and took the (i) out of his name last night after the first post about two Chris Jones. That is some coincidence.

    ReplyDelete
  76. You have to admit it's strange that a few hours after someone questions there being 2 USTA Chris Jones in Coppell, one of them changes his location.

There is no doubt that the individual who played with Philip changed his location last night. I have printouts from before and after. He was shown in Dallas in the 2008 year end ratings.

I'm sure the USTA will sort it out and act accordingly if appropriate.

    ReplyDelete
  77. As usual all you Anons starting trouble with a bunch of false accusations with no proof. There are 4 possible players in our area with the name Chris or Christopher Jones. The Christopher Jones on my team is from Coppell with a C-rating.Christopher David Jones is from Frisco with a 3.5T rating. There is also a Christopher Jones from Plano with a 0.0 rating. The other Chris Jones from Frisco is a 4.0T rating which means U.S.T.A. has these players as 4 different people with no Duplicate numbers. All you GUYS do is complain and have a lot to say about everybody.Say something positive about someone if you can.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Ed,
I'm not a 3.5 or from Dallas. I doubt I'll every be up against the Chris Jones on your team so I could care less if he was a cheater or not. But all this is very suspect.
The 4.0T Chris Jones from Frisco two days ago had a address in Coppell. That is a fact. Whether or not he is the same Chris Jones that is on your team is yet to be determined. The 4.0T Chris obviously reads this blog because once there was an inquiry into his rating he changed his address and his name to Chrs. Then a few hours after someone called him out on being Chrs, he changed his name back to Chris. From an outsiders perspective that is very suspicious.

  79. The 4.0(T) Chris Jones was on a 4.0USTA team called TCU Too in 2005 and Toby Reeves from Coppell was also on that team. The 3.5(C) Chris Jones played doubles in a Brookhaven tournament in March of this year with Toby Reeves from Coppell as well up in the 4.5 level. Also, he changed his name again yesterday to include the "i." I guess this is just another coincidence. This is freakin hilarious.

  80. Hey Gramps, if all that is simply coincidence, we may see pigs fly soon. Why don't you do a little research or fess up that you have a cheating sack of crap on your team.

  81. Looks like Anon2 was right! Grandpa Ed to the defense of his cheating 3.5 superstar!! Sure seems like too much of a coincidence not to be true. Nice work anon what, you did your homework on this cheater!

  82. I haven't looked into all that much, I am enjoying have Chris on our 4.0 team. If he played 4.0 in 2005 he can rerate in 2009 so really there is no big deal since it didn't look like he played a match at all. All that is contingent on if that is even the same Chris Jones.

Whomever is upset about this better just learn to deal with it because the USTA rating appeal process won't help, trust me I know...

  83. Anon2, Match of the week should be Sprnigpark vs. Fretz, not the HP vs Sam Grand match. HP is DOA for this spring and will lose 4-1. ANd Fretz is about to go on a losign streak after playihg the creampuffs of there flight. Springpark will win the real MOW 3-2.

I can't wait til the last handful of weeks when the teams that will be in the postseason start playing each other.

  84. No upsets as predicted.

Flight A - 2-1 with a match pending (thought JCC would pull it out 3-2, but Stonebridge won the deciding match)

    Flight B - 3-0 with a match pending

Flight C - 2-1 with a match pending (loss was in the match between the bottom dwellers and BH losses 4-1, ouch)

On to next week, maybe we can get a new thread finally!!
