QT - Fretz/Albrecht 7 - 1
QT - Lakes Tennis/Foy 5 - 3
Flights A & B pretty much went as planned.
I was wrong about Sisk having a rebuilding year, after visiting Garland Tennis Center and seeing the Al-Qaeda like training ground Sisk has set up I can see how he keeps getting fresh blood into his system.
FYI...Did you see the Westlake match? 3 out of the 5 lines retiring?
Wow! nice way to end the season.
LT came up one 3rd set 10 point tie breaker short in a 3-2 loss vs Huffhines, vanquishing them to the QT.
Things got wild and woolly in the last weeks in flight C,
Both OC and CC flinched in the last weeks and let a surprising Lakes team into the QT,(For the first time?)
Greenhill was able to right their ship and take their rightful place as Div C champs.
Fretz finished with a very respectable 1 loss.

3.5 Week Five
Sorry for the lack of 3.5 threads lately.
I have been super busy between my house arrest and a sever case of swine flu.
I am ready to call the season over and start my play off predictions.
Lifetime, Huffwhines, Garland, Westlake, Greenhill, Fretz, and the wildcard Brookhaven.
I guess the only question now is who will play who and when.
Notable notes from this week,
1) Lifetime singles ringer Alan Gerber gets taken down, I guess he could not stand the heat.
2) Highpoint has an outside chance of making thing interesting if they can beat Garland this week,(3.5 MOW Garland v Highpoint)
I know Sisk is taking this one seriously so watch out.
3) Our Epic Fail of the Week goes to two contenders, who became pretenders this week!
In Section C, The Knock Out Blow was delivered to both Oak Creek and Springpark.

3.5 Week Three - Results!
Mother's Day Bye Week WTF?!?!?!
What is this, TCD?
3.5 AWhat is this, TCD?
"The Huff-Whines' Boys" won again this week 3-2.
The match was not as close as the score appears.
And in the Match of the Week.
Lifetime Man-Handled Brookhaven 4-1.
It will take a Miracle for Brookhaven to get back into the play-off picture.
To have any hope of seeing the post season they will have to beat HuffWhines next month, and I just don't see that happening.
I don't see anything else in this flight worth mentioning.

We had a couple cadiates this week for the Epic Fail of the Week but I am going to go with:
High Point/Jameson
Sorry you couldn't keep up the pace.
3.5B Team Standings
Sorry you couldn't keep up the pace.HP went down tamely to Westlake only winning 2 sets and a total of 33 games.
There is no shame in losing, but they went down without a fight.
With Garland and the Surprising Sam Grand in the hunt I'm calling HP DOA for the spring season.
Garland beat LB 4 -1,
and
Sam Grand Swept Oak Creek and finds themselves in first place after 3 weeks!!!
Who are these Guys????

3.5 C
SpringPark announced themselves as a contender this week taking down Canyon Creek 4 -1.
Is Springpark for real or is Canyon Creek Fail?
We should know for sure when Springpark and Greenhill go at it on 5/17/09.
Greenhill squeaked passed the Lakes 3-2 to stay undefeated.
Oak Creek bounced back with a sweep over the Village.
And Fretz Sweepted LB to find them selves in the #1 spot this week.

3.5 Week One - For Real!
3.5 A
This Flight held to form,
Both Lifetime and Oak Ridge won easily, 5-0,
Oak Ridge's win included a 6-0, 6-0 win by accused sandbagger Enrique Molina,
First the sandbagging acusations, then they steal Chris Jones from Oak Creek, and finally they give the finger to Oak Ridge county club,
Watch out for Oak Ridge (or should they be called Huffines now?), they maybe this year's new Durty Garland.
Brookhaven squeked out a win also, I think they may be left on the outside looking in.
3.5A Team Standings
3.5 B
This flight also held serve with wins by Westlake and Highpoint.
Highpoint look dominate in doubles, but is still struggling in singles, dropping line #1 and Sutherland going to the 3rd set tiebreaker on line #2.
HP need a singles ringer or sandbagger bad, maybe the Oak Ridge boys can lend them one of their spares.
Sam Grand also posted an impressive win, but with a roster of only 10 players they will not be able to keep it up.
Next week - The All New Revamped Durrrrrty Garland make their debut!
3.5B Team Standings
3.5 C
Epic Fail of the Week
Fretz defeats Oak Creek 4 -1
Fretz defeats Oak Creek 4 -1
Old Custy Oak Creek dropped 3 out of 4 third set tiebreakers to the Young upstart Fretz team and may have seen their playoff hopes disappear.Greenhill put in a strong 5- 0 win, even with out sandbagger Zack Stein in the line up.
And Canyon Creek had a strong showing as well.
