3.5 Week 1 Preview

Flight A:
Brookhaven gets to play the mystery self rated Village team so there should be no more mystery after Saturday. I like the CC v. LTF match to be competitive but Jolly's team is still solid since they didn't really lose anyone off their DCC team of the Spring.

Flight B:
Two good matchups here. Greenhill/Kayser v. OC and Stonebridge v. Westlake. Both of these matches will set up the frontrunners for this flight. I like Greenhill and Stonebridge to get by on depth of talent.

Flight C:
zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Wake me up when this flight ends or gets to 9/20 GE v. Oakridge.

  1. The Gleneagle/Oak Ridge match will be rescheduled because Oak Ridge Senior Team will be at Senior State at Newks that Weekend. So the drama continues.

  5. Huh sonny, I cant hear to well.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Better watch out. Some of those 3.5s will be getting bumped & playing the 4.0s. And as to seniors, you might be not talking about your match afterwards with some of these seniors. Not necessarily something you talk about after a 50-55 year old clears you off the court say 2 & 2 & even more so if 60-65 year old. Been there on both ends

  7. Don Harvey will be on Westlake's roster tomorrow! Have fun! I guess jameson didn't need any singles help!

  8. Thought for sure Harvey would be on your team.

  12. This is for the gutless anonymous who posted at 9:53 am on 9/1/08 and again at 6:07 p.m. on 9/1/08.

First, this is a 3.5 thread so if you feel like you are so superior to seniors and 3.5 level players, why are you even bothering to read the contents of this thread. I think you are probably insecure with your own ability to play tennis and that is why you choose to post without revealing your name, so no one can call you out and expose your own inadeqaucies. That is also why you choose to insult a whole group of players - it makes you feel better about yourself. But it shouldn't because when you hide behind "anonymous" you and your comments have zero credibility. Mike Getz

  13. wow, Don't get Getz upset.

Mike are you okay? How did you guy fare the bad weather?

    Concerned friend.

    ReplyDelete
  14. GO OAKRIDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. To my "concerned" friend:

I am not upset. It is simply annoying to have people post anonymously when they are bad mouthing others. I have no problem with people posting anonomously as long as their entry is not in the mode of attacking someone.

Thanks for asking about Gustav. As for as Beaumont was concerned, even though our county braintrust called for a mandatory evacuation, it was much ado about nothing and I did not leave - in fact, we got no rain, little wind and I played tennis and worked in the yard.

When our county gets the bill for the cost of all the buses, planes, ambulances and helicopters that were utitlized in evacuating about 90% of Jefferson, Orange and Hardin Counties - some politicos are going to have some explaining to do.

Of course, the main way that this impacted the tennis community was that if forced the cancellation of the Beaumont Labor Day Tennis Tournament - a 200 point tournament.

Our local tennis folk are trying to work with USTA and TTA to see if it can be rescheduled for late September.

  16. I was'nt aware that mobile homes had yards.

  17. Mike,

Say hey to Bud, Sissy and Uncle Bob.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Is it really necessary to be rude. If you do not like what Getz has to say just ignore it. Whatever happened to the adage "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." ?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Agree, its obnxious and arrogant for an out of towner to talk smack on our Dallas blog.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Everyone pretty much marries their cousins down in Beaumont.

    ReplyDelete
  21. wow takes nerve to criticze evacuation decision made with intent to save lives. This Getz guy must really be a clown

    ReplyDelete
  22. How does Don Harvey self-rate for Garland, go 11-1 including 6-0 at sectionals, go to nationals, and still get to play at the 3.5 level for the fall?
I guess most/all of his big wins came after ESR.

    ReplyDelete
  23. To the 2:58 poster, if everybody on here followed your advice, there would be no blog.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I hope Don can play the fall w/o being detected as a star on his team in hs class of 1957! Being a high school star, goes to your grave!

  25. For the gutless, anonymous cowards that posted at 12:23 p.m.,
2:13 p.m., 3:11 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 3:37 p.m. - I may not live in Dallas but I have several friends in the tennis community that do and I follow what is going on in your leagues and local tournaments on this blog. If I want to comment, I will do so and I will sign my name so don't tell me to shut the FxxK up because that will not happen unless I decide that this blog is no longer worth my time because of brainless, morons like yourself. As far as insulting Beaumont and its residents, its true that we have our share of rednecks, cowboys, white trash, etc. but not disproportionately to anywhere else in Texas. Isn't it true that BIllY BOB'S is up in your neck of the woods (or is Fort Worth too far away?) The evacuation for the faux-hurricane is going to cost Jefferson County between 10 million and 20 million dollars, so I, as a taxpayer in this community have every reason to question the "wisdom" of our county fathers in jumping the gun and pulling the trigger for a "mandatory" evacuation when the storm was still over Cuba. Of course, county employee's don't lose a dime, they continue to get paid for the time they were off work. And for the imbecile that believes I live in a mobile home, why don't you come on down to Beaumont and we will see if you can back up your bullshit on the tennis court I have in my back yard. Oh, I forgot, you are too much of a pussy to even sign your name, much less take up a challenge. Mike Getz

    ReplyDelete
  26. Mike...sounds like fun! I will come down and play you one weekend. I need another small vacation! Keep up the fight against the a hole anon posters!

  30. Hi Jacques-
You are welcome anytime. I haven't played you since that three-setter we had in Tyler. You can bring Glen Flora with you and I will find a local "3.5" player to play with us so we can play doubles as well (or at least I will claim he is a 3.5 player) Mike Getz

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ok, I'm sorry I referred to it as a mobile home. I did'nt realize there was a difference between that and a trailer house. But it sounds like you live in an upscale trailer park.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Dear Anonymous Asshole from 11:39 a.m.

Trust me, my house is nicer than anything you can even dream about owning or living in. However, I do occasionally get bird droppings on my tennis court. You are welcome to come lick them off, however, that is the only way you will ever get to set foot on it. Mike Getz

  37. No! He only has one court and it has bird droppings all over it. N A S T Y!!

  39. Mike,

Thanks for the heads up concerning the rescheduled tournament but Shamus had already posted on the more important 4.0 thread. Maybe next time you can beat Mr. Darden with the breaking news. Shamus is a good guy that you can learn from.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Getz likes to brag about his house. What a guy!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Can't believe that some shit from Beaumont complains on OUR league blog, criticizes evacuation efforts, (tells us how brave he is by not evscuating)and of course wants us to know he lives in a big house with a tennis court. I think he must have some mental issues.

    ReplyDelete
  42. 6:08 did'nt you do his sister on a one nite stand? Maybe he has'nt forgotten.

  45. Unbelievable! The Anon posters are getting out of hand! I have played Mike Getz in the tyler tournament and he is a stand up person and had a great attitude.

You need to seek some forgiveness and understanding from Baseline Jesus!

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's too bad to see Shamus's efforts go down the drain but Getz is giving Beaumont a bad reputation.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hi Jacques-

Thanks for the support. I have decided that it is futile to get into a battle of wits with anonymous posters who are unarmed. They, as you well know, are nothing but cowardly pussies who have no tennis game whatsoever and could be taken out by my sister,
6-0, 6-0. As for Shamus, he is also a stand-up guy, is on my league tennis team and we are friends. As far as I am concerned, I am glad to be 300 miles away for Dallas, the home of this anonymous idiots. Mike Getz

He did NOT say: " we would like to hear from every screwball and asshole in Beaumont that happens to have something to say"

    ReplyDelete
  50. Pardon me Mr. Getz, would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Guys from Beaumont have no business posting on the Dallas League blog. That's just rude.
    - Nelson Weil

    ReplyDelete
  52. There sure is some great intellectual tennis discourse here. The season is about to begin and we are talking about.... Michael Getz house.

    ReplyDelete
  53. It's better that we are discussing his house and not my estate!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey Cary-
Do you have a problem with me posting on your blog? I met you at the tri-level combo last year and you seemed like a pretty nice guy, but apparently some Dallas players, seem to have a problem with it. Nelson Weil, a 3.5 wannabe, seems to think that it is rude. What do you say? Mike Getz

    ReplyDelete
  55. Mike,
I'm sure you are a nice guy and I do not agree with all the name calling. But the point is you are from Beaumont and you are NOT associated with Dallas leagues in any way. It is not your place to come on to the Dallas League blog and criticize Dallas bloggers. To comment is one thing but to criticize Dallas bloggers is not appropriate. Just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm quite sure the Dallas Bloggers welcomed you like a family member until you opened your arrogant and condescending mouth!! Now Mr. Getz, is'nt that what happened?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Mike,

We welcome everyone from anywhere. I am easy like that but you have falling into the Corey Noel trap and that is responding to every anon guy who calls you out. Feel free to post up whatever but try not to take it personally because it will drive you nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I would never even THINK about going to the San Antonio or Houston blog and criticizing SA or Ho bloggers. It does take some nerve for a guy from Beaumont to trash Dallas league bloggers.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Mike tried to pick a fight....than ran to the principals office. That's a a pu**y for you. Shamus must be putting pressure on him to SHUT UP!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Why put asterisks to hide your words?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Getz has been on the Houston blog whining and crying too!! That dude needs to get a life.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The "Corey Noel trap" was not answering every anon post. His problem was he consistently lied about a few of the Garland ringers. After City Playoffs and Sectionals everyone could see the real story.

    ReplyDelete
  63. The real story is gtc is going to Tucson, not that gtc is the only team in history to have "out of level"players going to Nationals! How many post season teams have you been on?
    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  64. I guess I will fall into the "trap" again by responding. Haven't you gotten over losing yet? The new season starts tomorrow and you're still talking old news. You have a chance to finish at the bottom of your 3.0 league again this season so maybe you should focus on that instead of criticizing players that are better than you.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Why don't I hear about Harvey? 59 years young, mowing guys down half his age!Not flashy like flora, but how did that work out?
    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  66. Bragging about a self-rated player who goes 6-0 at Sectionals?
Just because he's not in his 20's doesn't mean he's not out of level.
I wonder how Garland would have done without their self-rated players. Any comments?
Are there any teams this season that will have similar self-rate players?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hey Cary-
I knew I could count on you. Isn't it amazing that these anonymous assholes think that they own the internet? I would much rather be known as an arrogant bastard than an anonymous asshole. But you are right about falling into a trap and trying to call them out, they are way to scared to sign their names so they are going to hide under the darkness of anonymity. Kind of like cockroaches.

On a more constructive note, since the Beaumont Labor Day tournament has been rescheduled, it is open to new applicants. I think it will be the last tournament of the year worth more than 100 points so its not too late to sign up. Of course, you will have to sign your name to sign up so anonymous assholes, don't bother. Mike Getz

    ReplyDelete
  68. I actually agreed with every part of that post. That's certainly rare for this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I am not sure if Mike is wrong about the stupid evacuation thing getting out of hand. Kind of like when the evacuated Houston last year. Its all pre-cautionary now, but should the tax payer really fork up all this money, when they know they are already living in a danger zone, and just be responsible themselves already? My sister lives in the Woodlands, and it was pointless when she was to evacuate a couple of years back. She was not even sure it rained where she was. I mean, come on, the govt can defenitely get out of hand on this pre cautionary stuff.

Next, are they going to lower the speed limit to 5 MPH so that their are no more traffic fatalities on the road? Think how many lives would be saved if we lowered the speed limit to 5 MPH or even got RID OF CARS!!! No more traffic fatalities. Sounds thousands of lives every year.

My point is that you CAN be too cautious. You can go too far when it comes to these things.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Everybody go back and reread Mike Getz's posts.

Nothing there but nastiness and arrogance. It tells you all you need to know about the guy. Maybe he is one of Nancy's boys friends, I dont no.

Beaumont is a shithole. Anyone would have to be crazy to travel that far to play in their tournament.

    ReplyDelete
  71. You have a valid point, state officials can be too cautious.

But last time they were criticized for not evacuating soon enough. It is really hard to know exactly where a hurricane will hit and how hard it will hit. The best weather projections are often wrong. And you cannot wait until the last minute because then it is too late. So state officials with federal advice erred this time on the side of caution.

Only an asshole like Getz would criticize them after the fact, and brag about not leaving.

    ReplyDelete
  72. When Garland cheated and Nancy Noel lied, anon posters took them on. The cheating and lying quickly became apparent to everyone. Anon postings were not the problem, the problem was cheating and lying.

Now we have an arrogant moron from Beaumont talking smack and bashing Dallas posters. Again the problem is not anon posters. The problem is the intrusion on this blog by an out of towner who has nothing to do with Dallas leagues. I think 90% of the people reading this blog see Getz as arrogant and obnoxious.

Too bad we have to put up with this on a DALLAS LEAGUE blog.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Getz only became in asshole once he started taking on the anons and getting real shitty. Don't ever get mad at an anon. It is pointless and a hopeless battle you can never win. Make your point one time and move on.

But, I agree with his first post. I think that all this money they spend on the evacuation was really silly. Beaumont is above sea level, right? And from what I can tell on a map, it is 30 miles away from the Ocean?

So, it is about the same distance of evacuating Allen, TX from the heart of downtown Dallas.

New Orleans is right on the ocean. There is a difference. While hurricanes are becoming more and more prevalent, this still isn't the first hurricane in the last 100 years to hit here. Warn people, and if they decide to vacate, then that is their choice for living there. Not the government and tax payer's burden. I think they already waste enough of my money. Quit burning my hard earned money.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have said the same thing about other things, but it is kind of like trying to dry water on the ground by hitting it w a hammer. It just doesn't matter how hard you swing that hammer. It just doesn't.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Evacuation right or wrong, who cares? That's not the purpose of this website. But Getz' posts are nasty and mean-spirited. The guy lives in Beaumont and has nothing to do with Dallas leagues. We should not have to put up with his crap.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Getz tennis game = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

    ReplyDelete
  77. The Houston bloggers bitch slaped Getz off their site after he complained about the evacuation efforts. Thats when he came to this site. It's like we are his only friends. GET A LIFE BUCKO!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Mike,

Here's something for you to do.....go run for mayor of your city. Oh thats right, you have limited friends down there.

    ReplyDelete
  79. The very first post that I left on this thread had nothing to do with Beaumont, hurricanes, evacuations, or anything of the sort. It was in response to some anonymous asshole criticizing seniors and 3.5 level players as a whole, INCLUDING DALLAS, on a thread that was designated for 3.5 players. Then some anonymous asshole decided to make it personal with unwarranted attacks on me, my hometown, my sister, etc. and I decided to respond. But I do agree with the recent anonymous poster that made the analogy that taking on anonymous bloggers is like trying to dry water on the ground by hitting it with a hammer so I will borrow from my anonymous friend and simply say

    Anonymous? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

  80. Bookhaven VS Village (3.5A Flight)

We had a great match against the guys at the Village. We won, 4 – 1. The score doesn’t really reflect what happen on the court. There were some really close matches. Everyone from the Village was very nice and with the correct ratings. I was a little worried going into the match, since only two had computer ratings and the other 13 on the team had self ratings. I have never seen a team with so many self rated players before. With so many self ratings, I figured the team might have a bunch of ringers. Well I was wrong. The Village was strong, it sounded like they have all been playing for sometime and getting together on a regular basis for drills. I believe the Village will do very well!

    ReplyDelete
  81. ANONYMOUS POSTERS ARE THE HEART AND SOUL OF THIS BLOG

When Garland/Sisk cheated by bringing in HS superstars you did not let them get away with it and one of his ringers was DQed

When girly man Corey Noel lied about the Garland ringers you exposed his lies. And good for whoever started calling him Nancy.

When Delira started trash talking you took him on and showed him to be arrogant and obnoxious. And my hat is off to whoever started calling him SNOTjock that is so appropriate

When an ignorant moron from out of town Mike Getz started bashing Dallas bloggers you did not let his nasty, arrogant comments go unanswered

    GOD BLESS ANON POSTERS

w/o u the cheaters liars and obnoxious morons would take over the blog. Please stay vigilant and keep up the great work!

  84. High Point barely beat Chandler's today 3-2.

    ReplyDelete
  85. 4:53,

Getz removed all doubt about his foolishness with his vey first post and now he is going to try to convience us otherwise? I don't think so.....anyone can go back and read his prior posts. It's ridiculous that someone from out of town would want to hang out on this blog when we obiously don't jive with him. Yet, he still finds it necassary to tell us what we should do on the Dallas blog (kind of like the evacuation process too). Furthermore, I would add that some children read these post so please try to be clean about it, UNLIKE MIKE-totally without class. Mike do yourself and most everyone else a favor AND SHUT UP!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Hey guys anyone need a friend? Call me......I'm in Beaumont.

  90. Maybe Getz has multiple personalities.

Really wierd for a guy living in Beaumont to bash Dallas league players. Must have a huge ego. As a Dallas player I'd never even think about accessing the San Antonio site and starting a fight with SA players.

This guy needs to talk to Doc Phil.

  91. Is there a DQ watch for Fall?

Don Harvey should start the list based on results.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Brett,

Good to hear from you, it's been a while. Since I live in San Antonio I've never posted on this site and this should be my last. But I wanted to point out that I hear more complaints from Mikes opponets about line calls and his condescending ways. The way he has acted out on this site is nothing new for him. Mike does have a bad reputation. Stay in touch,

    Carlos

    ReplyDelete
  93. Brett & Carlos,

How have you guys been? I guess I'll see both of you this next weekend if you're playing S.A. Good luck. I had been reading this blog to see if I could get any info to help me at sectionals. I think I will call Steven and let him know about Getz. I've only heard rumors pertaining to Mike but appearantly there really is a very serious problem. After reading his comments, I am lost for words. Now I know why all the guys at tournaments lean against the wall talking and sneakering when they see Mike. Maybe Mike can get his head together real soon.

    Take care,

For an anonymous poster to criticize Mike for the language he is using on the blog is hilarious. I applaud Mike for standing by his comments.

    ReplyDelete
  100. David Prather,
If you played Getz and had a good experience then I'm happy for you and I'll take you at your word on that. When I played him he made two very bad calls at critical times in the match despite the fact that he was already winning and it was only the first round. Whether he is your friend or not the guy is a peice of work.

    ReplyDelete
  101. AND ANOTHER THING PRATHER . . .

When Garland cheated by bringing in HS ringers it was anon posters that were first to bring that to light. Even you commented about Flora. THE PROBLEM WAS GHEATING NOT ANON POSTING.

When Corey Noel lied to try to cover up for the ringers, anon posters exposed the lies, you know thats true. AGAIN THE PROBLEM WAS LYING NOT ANON POSTING.

When the Garland trash attacked YOU, several anon posters came to your defense. And I was one of those guys defending you.

Thats why Corey wants to get rid of anon posters. They exposed him and his Garland buddies for what they are.

When an out of towner who has nothing to do with Dallas leagues started bashing Dallas posters anon bloggers appropriately responded.

Whether he is your friend or not, Miek Getz is extremely arrogant. No decent person from our of town would come onto OUR blog and attack our local league players. AGAIN THE PROBLEM IS RUDE AND NASTY COMMENTS BY SOMEONE WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DALLAS LEAGUES _ NOT ANON POSTING.

    GOD BLESS ANON BLOGGERS!

I have never heard of anyone having any issues with Mike because he has always demonstrated great sportsmanship. You will not find anyone with a bigger heart or someone who will fight for the last point.

  105. Anons are only increasing Mike's popularity. Anyone who is bashed anonymously is okay in my book. If nobody is willing to stand by their opinions then I don't care about their opinion. By the way, I knew that wasn't you Enrique based on the tone of the post, and the same goes for the others too I'm sure. Regardless of disagreements I've had with many of the people who do post their names on here, I have respect for all of their opinions at least.

  106. David,
You are entitled to your opinion _ no disrespect intented. But I think we voted on the anon posting issue and the majority of bloggers voted to continue anon postings. You do believe in democracy, right?

My opinion is that anon bloggers are a good thing because anon posters take on the cheaters (Garland/Sisk/Flora) and the liars (Noel) and also the out of town jerks.

David, go back and re-read Getz first post OBJECTIVELY. (9/2 10:27 am) It is very nasty and insulting. And this from an out of town guy that has nothing to do with our leagues. If he's your friend maybe he's not that bad of a guy but certainly that post was not appropriate.

  107. The "ragging" started with Mike Getz's original post. Anon posters responded to rude and arrogant comments.

    GO ANON POSTERS!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Actually, I believe Mike's first post was promoting a tournament in Beaumont and had no references to Dallas league players. I agree that this is not what the blog is for, but I don't think any rude comments came out until he was on the defensive, which I can relate to.

  109. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT GETZ UNTIL HIS 9/2 POST WHICH WAS VERY RUDE AND INSULTING.

THAT IS WHAT STARTED THE NEGATIVE THREAD.

We had some banter back and further about older players and we all like to needle them a little. But nothing at all directed towards Getz until his obnoxious post.

  110. Dear Anonymous Assholes-

You simply don't get it. My first post did not bash Dallas league players, it only bashed anonymous assholes for their obnoxious and condescending remarks about ALL 3.5 players and seniors, which happen to make up approximately 2/3 of USTA regigered players. How can you extrapolate from that post that I was bashing Dallas league players? It was then that anonymous assholes, such as yourself, started in with the personal attacks and even went so far as to sign fake names to some of the posts. Enrique Molina, a person whom I respect and consider a friend, called me last night to tell me that it was not him that posted under the name "Enrique" on September 6 at 7:39 p.m. Hell, I knew that from the moment I read it that some anonymous asshole signed Enrique's name and didn't write that. As far as the person that complained about my line calls, I'm glad I kicked your ass and the time to complain about line calls is during the match. Incidentally, I have never been in a tournament where someone complained about my line calls. I always error on the side of giving the call to my opponent, and any number of people will back that up. Finally, I have a large network of friends in Beaumont, both inside and outside the tennis community, and if anyone has a problem with me, all I can say is be a man and address it with me by signing your name instead of hiding behind the anonymous nametag. 112. Getz,
You are well know for your arrogance and your bad line calls. Tell your story to someone who cares.

    Start up a Beaumont website.

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH DALLAS LEAGUES.

WE DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN BEAUMONT THINKS ABOUT OUR WEBSITE, OUR POSTERS, OUR PLAYERS OR OUR LEAGUES.

Every time you post you look more and more like a moran.

how many times do we have to flush before Getz goes away?

  114. Hey Max,
The one good thing about this thread is that people who have never met Getz can read his posts and see what kind of guy he is _ arrogant and rude. I bet his mother is very proud.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I heard Getz still lives with his mother!

  116. OH FOR PETE SAKE! Mike is just a 3.5 player. I thought he was 4.5-5.0 until I looked him up. Who would want to play 3.5 tennis in his backyard?. I guess you can't buy a good tennis game. And one thing Mike, GET OFF THIS BLOG AND GO IMPROVE YOUR GAME!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Hey anonymous asshole from 7:46 a.m.

I am glad it meant enough to you to take the time to look up my rating. I have never claimed to be anything other than a 3.5

Although you refuse to identify yourself (pussy) you act like you are a 4.5 or 5.0 player. If so, then why are you bothering to read a 3.5 thread? Bored?

I built a tennis court in my yard because I enjoy tennis. I have had dozens of friends come over and play. I didn't build it with any aspiration of becoming a 4.5 or 5.0player.

All of this started because some anonymous asshole like yourself decided to bash 3.5 players and senior players and I happen to fall into both categories and I took exception to it. I NEVER BASHED ANY PARTICULAR DALLAS LEAGUE BLOGGER, ONLY ANONYMOUS ASSHOLES LIKE YOURSELF.

  118. Wow it is really weird for some guy that lives in Beaumont to rant on the Dallas league blog. That's just not normal. The guys got some emotion issues to deal with.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I read the DALLAS LEAGUE TENNIS 3.5 (and 4.0 and 4.5) thread because I AM A LEAGUE PLAYER FROM THE AREA, unlike yourself. Do you REALLY not get the difference, pal? It's one thing to read the blog because you want to have your nose stuck up "your friends" ASS and another to want to constantly write post. Do yourself a favor and the next time you feel like posting something just go practice your serves for 10 minutes.

  120. I read the 3.5 threads for the same reason I watch some 3.5 tennis. Strictly for the laughs!
