4.0 Flights Announced

So I guess I have 5 free minutes so what the heck I will "quickly" analyze these flights for the crazies that are looking for something to talk about for 3 more weeks.

Flight A:
There are 4 solid teams here headed by Bob's team and team auto bid (Bartlett). A little step down would be Garland/Brueckner and then Don Smith's (and yes this is his best team). I like team Bartlett to do well although they need some help at singles or the DCC will be just for fun for them. DCC Sillers team is no pushover either especially if they continue to sign up some of the guys that played on the fall team. Greenhill is still a factor although they are lacking some firepower to contend but will not be an easy-out. The other three teams are just too full of bump ups to make an impact unless they add something significant to their rosters.

Flight B:
TBar returns many players from a team that finished well in the fall and has some playoff experience as well. Burt's BH team always makes some noise and has had playoff appearances as well. There seems to be a lot of mention of Canyon Creek to do well, there will have to be something new for them at singles if they are going to make the leap for 3rd place to playoff bound. Sisk Pt2 has some solid former 3.5s who know how to win and I am sure they will be tough. Luckily team SWAT has stayed together for the most part although we did lose a good portion of our players over the last two seasons but I like our core group. Eagles Landing should make noise as well as they have some new blood and Mr. Hsu is one fire right now. The other teams seem to be lacking something but their rosters are small as of now so that could change come game time.

Flight C:
Garland shouldn't find any opposition here and I am not jumping on that bandwagon because John's team was decimated but this flight is rather light compared to the other ones. With that said Eldorado is solid and Durand could beat just about anyone in this flight. Sandell, Herndon, Jenkins are good as well. OC team is good but nothing stands out that says this is the OC team.
Gleneagles may be a darkhorse as they have some solid players and plenty of people on the roster but I wonder if this isn't just the best of their 3.5s. The same can be said for the other teams but this is a new era of 4.0 tennis and I will be honest many of these names I don't recognize. (Should I even be writing this post, where is Mr. Fantastic)

Flight D:
Do I really have to say something nice about BMO's team now? Ugh. Pretty solid team of scraps from various teams (Just kidding Noeh, Ramesh, Jerry.) They should be the favorites because of depth since most teams have a drop off in talent. The Lakes looked to be a force after the few bump ups they had but after Fix and Balan exited that really changed them from hot pick to luke warm. Stonebridge's chances will depend on how many of the old crew wants to play 4.0 anymore or are they just interested in sticking together as a 4.5 group. I know Stonebriar is getting some love but not sure they are posed for success but then again I guess I haven't picked a 2nd place here yet and really it is up for grabs between the aforementioned 3 teams as the rest of the pack is not quite playoff ready.

Flight E:
I know Eldorado has some solid players but to call them out as a fav might be a tad to much love although I could see them as 3rd place. JCC and the Village should finish 1-2 here as the rest of these teams are not quite up to that level.

Looking forward to a great season!

  1. I noticed Chris Jones is playing with Somabut down in Houston. I thought nobody left Sisk. I hope Jones is not found at the bottom of a bayou soon.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Somabut needs singles players, not another so-called doubles specialist.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Lutes and anybody are a strong line but Fix sucks! Bad pickup for the Jcc

    ReplyDelete
  4. Did anyone see that over the terrible weekend of snow, wind and cold Bartlett's Brookhaven team won the city....WOW.

    ReplyDelete
  5. In Seniors at 4.0. Beat Greenhill, Canyon Creek and Burt's Brookhaven team to go undefeated.

    ReplyDelete
  6. 2010 SENIOR CHAMPS
    4.5 Oak Creek/Owen Stewart
    4.0 Brookhaven/Brad Bartlett
    3.5 High Point/Bob Bender

    ReplyDelete
  7. Moore/Mattes BH(Bartlett) are every bit as good Lutes/Reiman. Bartlett won't have the singles players to be a factor in the Spring. Congratulations to Bartlett and his team on winning this past weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I don't think Somabut is the only team needing singles players.

    ReplyDelete
  9. The word is the Bitter Beer Face Ratcliffe and the new poster child for twinkies, Sisk, had an all out cat fight over Chris Jones. I mean, Ratcliffe went as far as breaking a banjo (you know whos) over Sisk's head, although he needed a step ladder to achieve the task. Banjo boy was so distraught over the whole ordeal that he decided to give Somasbutt a try.

  10. Flight "B" will be the most interesting with 4 teams being very competitive:
    > Brookhaven/Pearlman
    > Canyon Creek/Heflin
    > Garland/Sisk2
    > High Point/Bazan

If I had to pick, I think Cary's team will finish 1st.

FLIGHT C is an easy win for Garland/Sisk1

FLIGHT D is an easy win for Greenhill/Morrison

    FLIGHT A
A 2-team battle with Somabut finishing 1st (big surprise) and Brookhaven/Pearlman finishing 2nd.

    FLIGHT E
Who gives a shit about this weak flight? But I agree that JCC is probably the favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Haha, you put Sisk #2 in the mix for flight B. You lost all credibility with you picks. You must be on Sisk #2 team to think that. There is a reason it is his #2 team, because only a couple could sniff his #1 team. His #1 team will win their flight because it is so weak, but they are not that great either.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lakes is the sleeper. They have the strongest 4.0 players left in the field. Do/Fries went undefeated and they have other big hitters. They will upset BMO's team.

So Balaan/Fix left the Lakes? I guess that shows their loyalty, NOT!

    ReplyDelete
  13. True, none of the Dallas 4.0 teams are that great this year. But the best 4.0 teams play at the GTC.

  14. Hey Lakes fan Anon, what has your team done in the last two years - you guys have been nothing but talk.

How many playoff matches has Lakes won, how many playoff wins do your players have on their resume. Does anyone have at least ONE win?

Y'all really need to have some W's in playoffs before you start talking again.

    ReplyDelete
  15. LAKES = BIG HAT, NO CATTLE!

    ReplyDelete
  16. The Houston team will dominate. Dallas only has a handful of players total that are on the same level as most of their best team.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Are you talking about Freeman's team? On paper they are probably much better, but that's why they play the games. Just ask Kansas U's basketball team what can happen when you toss the ball up in the air.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agreee that Lakes is the sleeper.
They are not very deep but...they create a match up problem. They will be strong on the singles lines with Blake and Blake (2 wins consistently). Then you have to play a shell game trying to get a good match up against Do/Fries...undefeated in the Fall.

Lakes win 3-2 (get used to it)

  20. Blan is best player in the world that has no backhand...none. He runs around it or lobs it. His winning strategy is a combination of bad calls and lobs. Once his opponents have hit a couple of dozen overheads each and their arms are about to fall off...he makes a couple of really bad calls at just the right time. Oh, and don't go for the ace out wide on the add side. He'll just call it out. Not sure what to call that game he plays but it's not tennis. But he's good at it what ever it is.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Top 4 doubles teams:

    1) Lutes/Reiman -JCC
    2) Moore/Mattes -BH
    3) Morrison/Vassberg-GH
    4) Do/Fries -Lakes

    Top 4 teams:
    1) Greenhill-loaded with talent
    2) Lakes-forget the past, new 4.0, new captain, a lot of fire power that didn't get bumped up.
    3) Stonebriar-way under the radar with a lot of good players.
    4) HP/Bazan-Same as Lakes, a lot of good players that didn't get bumped.

    Honorable mentions:
Somabut and Sisk are great captains so they could always pull a rabbit out of a hat but this might be their year off.
    Oak Creek-Lost too many players
Canyon Creek Heflin-Could be a contender if their players show up.
JCC-Two players (Lutes and Reiman) can't do everything.
El Dorado-A few former 4.5 guys but they're older.
    Village-Maybe, just maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Morrison a top doubles team, good one. How did he fare at tri-level?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Who are the top singles guys going to be?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Top 4 singles:

    1) James Taylor-Somabut
    2) Blake St. Clair-Lakes
    3) Oleg Yaremenko-GH
    4) Ty McDonald- El Dorado

    ReplyDelete
  25. Getz makes more bad calls at critical times than anyone else

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm new to adult tennis....and i think i get more bad calls against me than when i played juniors.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Close calls are part of life in the league. It's not like if you bitch about it enough they're gonna give you a hawkeye system. Just STFU and stop being cry babies. Just play and enjoy the game.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Some clubs are known to make terrible calls at critical times. Having said that, mediocre players (losers) blame bad calls for their loses.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I've noticed that
people that make lots of bad calls tend to call them "close" calls. And then get mad/hostile when anyone brings up the subject. Cheating is part of league? Have fun with it?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Three types that make bad calls:

    1-Pushers
2-players that think they are better than they are.
3-Old fashioned cheaters-don't care about right and wrong just winning at any costs.

    Type that doesn't cheat:
1-Skilled, competent and abled players that know they can give their opponent the benefit of the doubt and still win.

    ReplyDelete
  31. who are the top four cheaters (bad calls)?

To be fair a player must be nominated and there must be a second to confirm their place on the list.

I'll get the ball rolling with:

    Balan (Greenhill)

Let's have fun with this after all it's part of league :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've noticed several hypocrites that claim bad calls who make a lot of bad calls - usually mediocre losers.

So if you're part of the league, then cheating is part of the league.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey Anon 10:52,

People that say peopoe cheat are cheaters???

That sounds like the weak argument and rationalization of someone who cheats

    ReplyDelete
  34. I nominate many players in GTC, Lakes and BH teams into that category.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anon 11:08 is just mad at the playoff teams that kick hit butt on a regular basis. Got to call BS on that one. I will however second the nomiantion of Balan..he' been hooking his way through this league for years!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Until we get rid of anons, we're going to be subject to this crap discussions. I am done.

    ReplyDelete
  37. well thats one way to get rid of an anon

    ReplyDelete
  38. an anon refussing to participate in the blog anymore because he doesn't like anons????

probably the same guy tht said people that say they don't like cheaters are cheaters.

    ReplyDelete
  39. 9:37
Who is Getz? And how bad did he hook you? (Or did he just beat you and you can't accept it)

    ReplyDelete
  40. 5:29

No worries. That Gezt guy doesn't beat anyone unless he hooks at critical moments. Watch him close this year, he will be hooking more. He's playing above his skill level in 4.0 and his big house, I mean head, doesn't like to loose. What a hooker looser. I wish he would play in a tourney that I was playing in. I would hook him on the first point and every point after. That will teach him!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Isn't Getz a high end 3.0 player that likes to talk like he's a top 4.0 player? Kind of like that pRATher guy?

    ReplyDelete
  42. anon 9:35am...here's my top 4.0 singles players:

    James Taylor HP/Somabut
    Mike Pearson HP/Somabut
    Oleg Yaremenko GH/Morrison
    Ryan Caras Sbriar/Moomjian
    Blake Sinclair Lakes/Foy

guess you think Ty McDonald - El Dorado has improved a lot...he looks to be good, but nothing of his past performance indicates top 5, maybe top 15 or top 20

    ReplyDelete
  43. Carey,

We are through with this blog until you get rid of the anons and this time we are not joking.

    Signed

    Morrison
    Getz
    pRATher
    RATcliff

P.S. We will be posting daily to make sure.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The most improved team for the spring will be in Flight C. The real sleeper. They picked up:

Brauer- top 4.0 dubs specialist and singles player, former H.P. bob.
Pickett-All around top player. Don't know why he left H.P. Bob?
Andy Riddick-ATP ranked player 6.5 + singles player-sure win every time.
Dwight Davis-Has a cup named after him.

This team will make a run for 8th in their flight. No doubt about it.

    Eddie

  45. I don't like ice hockey. It's too cold for me.

    ReplyDelete
  46. i beat mike getz in a tournament 2 years ago. when the match got close in the 2nd set he made a few horrible calls. it was blaant & disgusting. what an ass.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Who is Balan? Which Greenhill team does he play (cheat) for?

If we are going to have a cheaters hall of fame - we have to add Tuan Quach to the short list.

    ReplyDelete
  48. OK here we go . . .

    CHEATERS HALL OF FAME
    > Ramesh Balan
    > Mike Getz
    > Tuan Quach

Anyone else we need to recognize?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Eddie Hill......Bigtime

    ReplyDelete
  50. 10:02
There is a difference between making a bad call and hooking. Everyone makes a bad call from time to time. Hooking is where you are deliberately making bad calls to cheat. You are indicating that you feel the need to deliberately cheat. That makes you a loser.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hey 10:09 -

What the hell is a high end 3.0 player? If you are a 3.0 player, the term "high end" should not even be anywhere around describing your tennis game.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Top 5 singles:

    Blake Whitaker-Lakes (dominating flex leauges)
    James Taylor-HP
    Blake St. Clair-Lakes
    Oleg Yaremenko-GH
    Ryan Caras-Stonebriar

This gives the Lakes the top 2 of 5 singles players in Dallas and this isn't based on opinion this is based on their record. This also puts 4 out of 5 of the best singles players in one division. Should be interesting.

Taylor will dominate. I predict he won't lose a match in the regular season.

The comment that I "suck" I think the more accurate description is that I am a product of the public school system made evident by my shot selection and strategy. With that I would agree!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Sorry, I meant 4 out of 5

    ReplyDelete
  54. Add Ron Cochran from GTC to that list. Lakes got hooked both in regular season and playoffs.

    ReplyDelete
  55. With reference to the last anon posting (and others who indulge on this topic), there are some sick people on this blog, whose credibility and motivation is suspect. I have a few questions for you.

Did you have your asses kicked by someone so bad that it scared you for your life? Is this your way of covering your inadequacies? Are you always in the habit of pointing your losses to bad calls? What do you have against these people that has made you so freakin' unhappy or jealous, that you couldn't keep away from these personal attacks?

Go to http://www.tennis_shrink.com to get some help.

    ReplyDelete
  56. CHEATERS HALL OF SHAME
    > Ramesh Balan
    > Mike Getz
    > Tuan Quach
    > Eddie Hill
    > Ron Cochran

Any others that need to be recognized for their intentional bad line calls?

    ReplyDelete
  57. CHEATERS HALL OF SHAME

    > Mike Getz
    > Tuan Quach

    > Anon

Any others that need to be recognized for their intentional bad line calls? should pretty well cover it

    ReplyDelete
  58. 90% of the guys in this league make honest line calls. Hey that's nearly 9 out of 10 players, that's better than society in general. The odds that you will have to play any of the 15% that make questionable calls is small. So cheer up.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm guessing that math was not your major.....

    9 out of 10 = 90% (not nearly)

    90% + 15% = 105%

But I agree with the pt your are trying to make

    ReplyDelete
  60. Add Grossling from Lakes to the hall of shame. He hooks even seniors.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I didn't know Yogi Berra posted on this blog

    ReplyDelete
  62. All High School seniors hook.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Mitchell, don't pay any attention to some anon's coments that you suck. probably one of your old friends (not) from lakes giving you a nasty send off. You're are one of the strongest doubles players in the city and lakes can't get over themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I second hans grossling from lakes. He does hook in 4.0 seniors and 4.0 Mens.

    ReplyDelete
  65. 10% - Cheaters
    12% - Sandbaggers
    18% - Tankers
    8% - Foot-faulters
2% - Do all of the above
    55% - Everybody else

    105% - Total

    ReplyDelete
  66. Update . . .

    CHEATERS HALL OF SHAME
    (Intentional Bad Line Calls)
    > Ramesh Balan
    > Mike Getz
    > Tuan Quach
    > Eddie Hill
    > Ron Cochran
    > Hans Grossling

    ReplyDelete
  67. Ok, let's change the subject.

WHICH LEAGUE PLAYERS DO YOU FIND TO BE THE MOST ARROGANT & OBNOXIOUS?

I'll start us off with BRIAN COLAO. He is one sick dude!

    Who else???

    ReplyDelete
  68. that is going to be a long list; 90% of the guys in the league are arrogant and/or obnoxious 50% of the time; the rest of the time they are hookers and homos.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I will second that. Brian is not pleasant to be around.

Of course since I am accused of being arrogant and obnoxious on this blog I guess I should know.....

    ReplyDelete
  70. how about sean bay? he is obnoxious n kinda weird

    ReplyDelete
  71. Rossouw and Nancy are weirdos 100% of the time.

    ReplyDelete
  72. To the weirdo that wrote about Blan on March 24th 8:38am,

I've played with/against Ramesh for 6 years, and you are so wrong. Saying he has no backhand is like saying Santoro does not have a forehand.

I have seen him hit four different backhand shots one hand slice, one hand topspin, two hand topspin, two hand slice - you may want to have your eyes checked. Also, I have never seen him play the ad side even once, so your claim about bad call on a wide ace on the ad side is complete BS.

Were you benched when he played line 1 for our team?

    - now a 4.5 player

    ReplyDelete
  73. Are there any remaining strong 4.0 players that have not found homes yet?

    ReplyDelete
  74. MOST OBNOXIOUS LEAGUE PLAYERS
    Brian Colao
    Marc Rossouw

    How about Alan Gerber???

    ReplyDelete
  75. Fix was a couple of points away from some big wins in the Fall. He's getting a fresh start over at JCC. I think he'll have a good season. We will miss him at Lakes though....I don't understand the hostility against him on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Where's Gerber been anyhow?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Probably at boot camp up in the Himalaya's training for Morrison!

I would like to nominate Sleazak to the arrogant list. Will anyone second it?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Slezak is a great guy and as humble as can be. You won't get a second here. He is one of the most loyal friends you will find and a good teammate as well,

He is certainly not perfect and has made some crazy decisions in his life.....Take that time he was caught french kissing the Steelers very own Ben Rothsucksburger in the womans bathroom at Brookhaven. Other than Chris not knowing who to cheer for on Sunday afternoon he is great guy.

Now, can we please get the 4.5 smack-down started.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I nominate Banjo Boy Jones. That guy is an arrogant prick.

    ReplyDelete
  80. who's the GTC guy that calls the ball out way before it lands....then looks up at you and smiles?

    ReplyDelete
  81. I nominate Andy Alarid from Lifetime 4.5, he is a cocky SOB and is not even that good.

    ReplyDelete
  82. MOST OBNOXIOUS LEAGUE PLAYERS
    Brian Colao
    Marc Rossouw
    Banjo Boy Jones
    GTC Guy
    Andy Alarid

Who else needs to be on our list?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Look at all the sore losers. Take you ass beatings like men and stop bitching like little girls because you can't win on the court. Have you guys been watching too much Lifetime?

    ReplyDelete
  84. they prolly play for Lifetime

    ReplyDelete
  85. who has the worst temper?

    ReplyDelete
  86. True, Reitzer is a real ass. But Brian Colao is even worst.

    ReplyDelete
  87. And you all wonder why we wait to put up posts till the last minute. You really only need one day or two to analyze some brackets after that just back to the bashing.

Mitchell and Ramesh are good guys. I have never had Ramesh be questionable on calls but I think even he would call his backhand his weakness.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Sean Bay MUST go on the "Most Obnoxious" list if you want to have any credibility

    ReplyDelete
  89. MOST OBNOXIOUS LEAGUE PLAYERS
    Brian Colao
    Marc Rossouw
    Banjo Boy Jones
    GTC Guy
    Andy Alarid
    Larry Reitzer
    Sean Bay

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well the flights are all done for spring but we are still waiting to hear from John Kraemer regarding the DTA process for flighting.

It must be a horrible, unfair process. That's why the DTA doesn't want to tell people how it works. It reminds me of ACORN.

    ReplyDelete
  91. the flights seem to be more resonable this year. but the process is still a secretive, backroom activity. what is the dta hiding? why dont they man up & tell players how this is done?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Obnoxious and Steve Kent is not on the list? No credibility on that list without Steve Kent.

    ReplyDelete
  93. MOST OBNOXIOUS LEAGUE PLAYERS
    Brian Colao
    Marc Rossouw
    Banjo Boy Jones
    GTC Guy
    Andy Alarid
    Larry Reitzer
    Sean Bay
    Steve Kent

    ReplyDelete
  94. Is that Kaiser or Prather posting the crap? Hmmm

    ReplyDelete
  95. Kaiser and Prather need to join the list. No list is complete without those two.

    ReplyDelete
  96. WORST BLOG CONTRIBUTOR???

I say Klamecki is the worst. He likes to post about Fort Worth - and none of us give a shit. He even convinced Cary to make this the Dallas/FTW blog. I'd rather put up with Nancy's crap than read about Fort Worth.

    Opinions???

    ReplyDelete
  97. I agree, Ft. Worth is lame. I think the top 4.0 team in Dallas could beat Ft. Worth's top 4.5 team.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I agree. Slezak is a great guy. It was really great when he threw his 2nd place trophy in the trash in front of his opponents and the tournament director at Brookhaven last year.

    ReplyDelete
  99. nothing wrong with that. the guy doesnt like finishing 2nd.

    ReplyDelete
  100. WORST BLOG CONTRIBUTOR???

Captain Fagtastic - doesn't have the balls to let us know who he is.

    - anon poster

    ReplyDelete
  101. Lol....anon blasting cpt fantastic for being anon! Who gives a crap--he does a great job.

    ReplyDelete
  102. slezak threw his second place trophy in the trash ?

how dare he ? he could have given it to anon 12:52 - you must collect them.

what did you want him to do, take it to work with him and show it off to all the ladies in his office - you talk about a chick magnet - a 2nd place tennis trophy at age 35, WOW.

nothing says homosexual like a 2nd place mens tennis trohpy at Sleezy's age. They lose their cool once you get past age 8 you moron. I think Sleezy did the manly thing throwing it away immediately. Real men like the cool DTA coolers, socks, and hats they give out each season anyway. Especially the ones with the DTA logo on them.

    Good Job Sleezy.

    ReplyDelete
  103. How about have some tact and throw it away as soon as you at least get outside MORON!

somebody still has to go through the trouble of picking it up and having it engraved.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hey, what happened to Klamecki's post about the guy who had a heart attack yesterday at a match? I'd like to send a contribution to his family.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I have been asked not to post anything until everything is finalized with his family.
I'll post again when I get all the info.

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  106. KLAMECKI,
HOW BOUT U KEEP THE FORT WORTH CRAP TO YOURSELF. NO ONE IN DALLAS GIVES A SHIT.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Marc,

Please keep us all posted. 10:35am, you are a real douche bag, but you already know that.

    ReplyDelete
  108. We do need a separate Fort Worth blog. Why post FTW stuff on a Dallas blog. Too bad someone died in FTW. But unfortunately people die all the time. I'm sure the guy was a saint but none of us know the guy.

Doesn't make much sense clutter the Dallas Legaue blog with FTW info.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Is there so much going on here that there is no room for somebody to post some tennis related information every few weeks?

If there is a news story in Ft worth does the Dallas morning news refuse to report it?

Should they stop reporting on the cowboys cuz they are in Arlington now?

    Let change the blog name.
Dallas Tennis Blog: All Sisk, All Somabut 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Frankly, the cancer that is killing this blog is that we have a hand full of deranged people fixated on a handful of captains and players.

I hope Cary loses heart in the blog and deletes it, the blog has out lived it's usefulness.

  110. News Flash Anon:
Many players play in both Dallas and Ft Worth leagues.

Maybe you should try it, then your game might actually improve. And you can quite your bitching.

  111. NEWS FLASH - The quality of players in Ft. Worth is not nearly as good as Dallas. That's why you see Klamecki & co playing there trying to get an easy playoff berth and not with the big boys in Dallas.

  112. I respectfully agree with anon 10:35 am and anon 1:45 pm.

This is not a Fort Worth obituary. And most of the guys blogging are DALLAS league players.

Klamecki apparently is interested in FTW leagues and plays in them. The vast majority of us do not. Let's keep the FTW dribble to a minimum.

  115. Captain Fagtastic was bumped to 4.0 for 2010. We need another 3.5 contributor. Preferably someone who is not gay.

How about Big Bird to take his place?

  117. KRAEMER . . .

We are all waiting to hear from you.

What is the DTA process for putting teams into flights? This is not a difficult request.

Or are you so ashamed of it that you wont say?

  118. Kaiser is out, if you want someone who is NOT gay.

  119. WHY WE HATE THE DTA
    1) Arrogance of league administrators
    2) Highest league fees in Texas
    3) . . .

  120. I don't hate the DTA. Actually, I don't even think about the DTA. I play my matches and enjoy them. I am sure there is a free league or cheaper league somewhere else.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Damn, I didn't know Kaiser was gay, can I have his number?

    Morrison

ps. I'll take over for captain fantastic after mid-season ratings are out.

  123. Could Morrison really make it from 4.5 to 3.5 in one year? That would be funny.

Looks like Lifetime as a number of homos coming out.

  124. WHY WE HATE THE DTA
    1) Arrogance of league administrators
    2) Highest league fees in Texas
    3) Secretive seeding & flighting
    4) Dallas Cup rip-off

    5) . . . .

  125. All the homos are no longer with lifetime. In order to be on a lifetime team you need proof that you are a bull male. That's the reason why the likes of Morrison and Kaiser are gone. They went to teams that have a don't ask don't tell policy.

  126. A very early post stated that The Lakes have 2 blakes that are unbeatable is that James Blake.I think the 2 blakes on that team didn't even win half their singles matches last year!! How unbeatable is that??? The Lakes very OVERRATED!!!

    ReplyDelete
  127. Morrison is Fraser playing for you this year? You lost your best doubles player??

    ReplyDelete
  128. Blake Sinclair and Blake Whittaker are both really strong players in the new 4.0. Sinclair was 3-2 in singles last season, but his two close losses were to guys that were bumped up. Whittaker was injured most of last year, but is a top tier singles player doing really well in ultimate tennis, 5-1 in 4.5 singles. Not making any predictions about the Lakes overall, but these two are tough.

  129. The blog post tool used on the HTA tourney post by Klamecki sucks. Who wants to put in your email address just to post? That is stupid.

Coke tourney entries are way down this year over past years. Especially at 4.0 and 4.5. The USTA has ruined these divisions through their ratings bump fiasco. They deserve to lose money and go the way of the dinosaur. In fact, I hope a meteor comes out of the sky and lands on USTA headquarters. Maybe a small piece will splinter off and hit DTA offices as well.

Like the health care bill. Blow it up and start over cause these guys suck.

  130. Are all the new posts going to use the blog tool used on the newest post? if so, I'm done with this. This blog is lame.

  131. just put in a fake email like s@s.com, dumb ass.
it's easier than read that stupid code.

  132. I moved to this area from West Texas. I don't mind the DTA fees at all. You have so many tournamnts, leagues, clubs, etc...to choose from. The DTA fees are justified form my point of view.
