Mixed is Final...

The DTA has not posted the finals yet but everyone already knows who won and who lost.

At 7.0 Springpark won 2-1 over McKinney.  For some reason, Highpoint defaulted 2 lines to McKinney so I missed this prediction.

At 8.0, Springpark had to default one line and lost a 3rd set breaker to lose 2-1 to Greenhill.  I am curious to watch hear the details of the Kelly, AlanA and Springpark v the DTA saga.  I will add more when the DTA finally figures out how to post the finals scores after setting up Bye Matches as actual matches in Tennislink.

In the meantime, I will just sit back; eat some popcorn and watch.  The floor officially belongs to AlanA.

  1. What a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Mr Kelley and company will not be going to nationals for at least another year. Sit back and suck on that one a while sir. Gotta love karma!!

    1. uh, you might want to do some homework. Kelley will be going to Nationals and sectionals yet again. Well, at least he qualifies but after speaking with him in the hospital both are in jeopardy.

  2. Why can't the DTA figure out how to work tennislink events? Jane never had these problems. I gave them a pass for the first year but we have had several years now and the DTA has not figured tennislink out yet. It is not tennislink as other cities can do it. I wonder if there is a remedial training for tennislink for dummies we could buy the DTA.

    1. Call it what it is Sherri, not the DTA.
Might have something to do with the fact that no one is ever at work.

  3. One problem at a time. They got rid of SP, now to work on Tennislink.

    1. Took them 3 years on SP. does that mean 3 years for tennislink?

  5. He can go out of ft worth. His team qualified with sp not going. Dallas doesn't control ft worth.

  6. Here are some facts.
Tony Le's 7.0 mixed was defaulted because one of the women players introduced herself as Player X who was listed on the scorecard, but in fact was someone else. Her opponent knew X and told Sherri what happened. Tony's team was disqualified and banned for a year - but I think just mixed.
Alan, Gene, and Mike were suspended for unsportsmanlike conduct. Sheri, who was not involved in the grievance, said they followed the USTA rules for code of conduct.
This is a DTA suspension, not USTA. They can not prevent Mike from playing on the Ft. Worth team if they replace Dallas who doesn't have enough male players qualified to send a team. They are free to play league or combo out of Ft. Worth.
My opinion. What Le did was much worse than what the trio were accused of doing.

    1. no way. Tony only faked scores at trilevel, had 3 guys dq'd, instructed players to lie on self rate, had players tank in fall, had players in mixed introduce themselves as someone else..etc. Those were small oversights and could happen to anyone. Give Tony a break, he is a stand up guy.

    2. oh, and he will be gearing up for next year. Already started w sam "lose to somabutt 0 and 1 " hunyh getting moved to 4.0. His fall team will soon forget how to hold a racket.

    3. This has to be bullshit. Tony isn't stupid and wouldn't try something like that.

    4. First, Ruben has 2 or 3 of Tony Le players DQ , now he goes out and reports Tony for player violation in a match that he won anyway. He gets Tony's whole team DQ for next year.

    5. Apparently whoever played against Tony knew the girl playing was not who she said she was and told Sherri when he turned in the scores that he played against someone else. Tony's listed partner was there but didn't play. Not sure why Tony didn't play with the listed partner. Seems like there is more to the story.

    6. What does it mean a match he won anyways? Did Tony play or not? Did the default change the match result? This is confusing. Can someone who was there explain.

      Delete
    7. Tony played with a different girl than he listed on the lineup sheet. Tony and his partner played the match and lost. The end result would not have mattered as Muniz team would have won 2-1. The scores show up as default because they found out after the match he used a different partner.

    8. so it cost them 2 lines? Did they have 2 lines of illegal players?

      Delete
    9. No, I think one line was a default due to no show. T

    10. So he only had to keep himself from cheating on one line and he couldn't? That is a problem. I wonder if there is a 12 step program.

  9. Adding Facts: In true sp fashion they were all drinking and obnoxious yesterday. I witnessed them staring and trying to start trouble making comments towards Greenhill captain. zacry's and other players trying to give words to her and those in dugout staring at Greenhill players and making BS comments. I walked by and heard it myself. Greenhill team wins also for being classy and not participating remaining adults. DTA officials had to remain among teams because of Sp's continued drama. Tennis is a game of courtesy and they haven't read the definition of courteous. Dta should be doing their jobs more often like they are doing now. common theme is everyone has witnessed and experienced Sp's wrath and Dallas is tired of it.

    2. 8:19 you should have been there to witness the 'mature and courteous' Greenhill captain during the match against Springpark during regular season play. That was THE definition of courteous right there. Take your bitching elsewhere, you're not welcome on this blog.

  10. Lies. Zackary was the only idiot. The rest of the group was fine. To many lies. Just like the grievance.

  11. wrong. big mama in purple plus both zacrys plus danielle plus other male standing with M Z. Alan remember you weren't there so how would you know, you can't possibly believe your team of liars. only lies are from you. does your boss at Sp know you are suspended and what kind of trouble you cause for their park and leagues?

    1. Watch yourself. Alan has done an incredible job of putting Springpark on the map and making it a booming, well-run facility. He has done nothing but great things for the club and its leagues - he is not a 'trouble' in the club's eyes by any means. If you have a problem with him, fine, but leave it at that. You don't know jack shit about the rest.

    2. 8:41. Why don't you sign your name to this? By saying all of this on the blog, you can be suspended for a year Alan's only crime is he signed his own name.

      Delete
    3. Technically he was only caught because he signed his own name - his crimes are what they are. By his own admission, he deserved suspension - he just disagreed with the DTA on which crime it was for.

      Delete
    4. He has so many crimes he is arguing which ones he should be suspended for! that is funny.

    1. Here is the preview. The good players and team will look awful. Come Spring, they will magically find their game. The wannabes will win and make the fall playoffs and wonder what happened this spring.

  14. So in summary, Tony Le had one player no show and had to default a line. Then he played and lost his line. But he also played with a partner that was not his listed partner and that partner claimed to be someone else. So even though they lost 2-1 based on Tony losing his match, the DTA changed it to a default since he did not play with his listed partner? Sounds like Tony had a really bad day. You would think he would know better with the DTA watching his every move.
Also, looks like the DTA is out to get Tony (not just Springpark) Instead of just a 2-1 loss, it becomes a team default that comes with possible penalties for the team. Sounds like Christmas came early for the DTA. The shame is that both Springpark 8.0 and High Point 7.0 could have seriously had a chance to win Nationals.

    1. Who beat Tiny and his partner? They have noone on the McKinney team that could beat them. It all sounds fishy.

  15. What is really funny is Ruben gets players suspended and DQed and still gets his fat ass beat against the second string.. that just makes me chuckle!

  16. Isn't Will Scott going to 4.0 nationals with Tony Le? The same team team Pearson and Zackary are not on. Must be a solid player. At least Muniz played, fat ass and all, instead of just pulling players together as a non-playing captain. High Point and Springpark clearly had stronger teams.

    ReplyDelete
  17. So much for Alan telling us what happened. We told you he was lying.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So will Le get more DQ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Probably not. Tony Le obviously had a brain fart with his decisions on Saturday in a match he didn't try to win. Most of his team with be at Nats in California the same week Mixed sectionals is played anyways. He probably doesn't care if he can't have a mixed 7.0 team next year. Administrative captaining errors probably don't get anyone DQ. Not sure about the girl that said she was someone else. That may be a different story.

    2. What rules are there about a team default in championship play? I know there is something about a team default during regular season.

      Delete
  19. How many brain farts is Tony Le going to have? Somebody might tell him to get checked out? Maybe an MRI of his brain? Too many slip-ups over the course of the whole year. What will we be reading next? That he gets caught cheating at Nationals by having players not on his roster playing as someone else?
