  1. sounds great, I wish I could have made it out. I will do my best for Feb. Hopefully I will be good enough for singles by then and not fat from the holidays, although that may be a reason to play singles.

  2. I know its only small amounts, but next time just say tennis balls or pennies or 108 green trophies. Let's not be too bold even if it is small amounts.

  4. Are you from the IRS? Of course those numbers don't represent dollars. We would never play tennis for money.

  5. The 2 best players on the same side of the draw in singles. Was this tournament run by DTA?

  6. I can assure you that mathmatical formulas were used to precisely place the players in the correct, evenly places flights. Height, level of play, win/loss record, and obesity level were all weighted and put into a statistical model to place people in their precisely calculated flight.

  7. I guess that means that Sisk had his own flight?

  8. I'm sure you don't know John Luxton so I'm not sure how you could come up with that conclusion. Actually, the two finalists from our last tournament (the 1 and 2 seeds) both lost before finals.

  9. Actually...quite a decent tournament. I donned the "I am a tang" shirt and opted out (while still playing a weak match of doubles), but hopefully will catch in next time. This sure beats the progressive match stuff from last year that seemed to never end, crossed 2 seasons, and was played in the Temple of Nod down on the covered courts in Mesquite. Friggen eye-level shaft of light at 4 pm did little for my game, and could have illuminated the path to the ark of the covenant. Mittens with Tournagrip was like using a sandwich bag as a condom: no worky.
