QT - Fretz/Albrecht 7 - 1
QT - Lakes Tennis/Foy 5 - 3

Flights A & B pretty much went as planned.
I was wrong about Sisk having a rebuilding year, after visiting Garland Tennis Center and seeing the Al-Qaeda like training ground Sisk has set up I can see how he keeps getting fresh blood into his system.

FYI...Did you see the Westlake match? 3 out of the 5 lines retiring?
Wow! nice way to end the season.

LT came up one 3rd set 10 point tie breaker short in a 3-2 loss vs Huffhines, vanquishing them to the QT.

Things got wild and woolly in the last weeks in flight C,
Both OC and CC flinched in the last weeks and let a surprising Lakes team into the QT,(For the first time?)
Greenhill was able to right their ship and take their rightful place as Div C champs.
Fretz finished with a very respectable 1 loss.

3.5 Week Three - Results!

Mother's Day Bye Week WTF?!?!?!
What is this, TCD?
3.5 A
"The Huff-Whines' Boys" won again this week 3-2.
The match was not as close as the score appears.

And in the Match of the Week.
Lifetime Man-Handled Brookhaven 4-1.
It will take a Miracle for Brookhaven to get back into the play-off picture.
To have any hope of seeing the post season they will have to beat HuffWhines next month, and I just don't see that happening.

I don't see anything else in this flight worth mentioning.

3.5A Team Standings

3.5 B
We had a couple cadiates this week for the Epic Fail of the Week but I am going to go with:
High Point/Jameson
Sorry you couldn't keep up the pace.
HP went down tamely to Westlake only winning 2 sets and a total of 33 games.
There is no shame in losing, but they went down without a fight.
With Garland and the Surprising Sam Grand in the hunt I'm calling HP DOA for the spring season.

Garland beat LB 4 -1,
and
Sam Grand Swept Oak Creek and finds themselves in first place after 3 weeks!!!
Who are these Guys????

3.5B Team Standings

3.5 C
SpringPark announced themselves as a contender this week taking down Canyon Creek 4 -1.
Is Springpark for real or is Canyon Creek Fail?
We should know for sure when Springpark and Greenhill go at it on 5/17/09.

Greenhill squeaked passed the Lakes 3-2 to stay undefeated.

Oak Creek bounced back with a sweep over the Village.

And Fretz Sweepted LB to find them selves in the #1 spot this week.

3.5C Team Standings

Match of the Week 05/17/2009 :
Greenhill/Kayser @ Springpark/Abbruzzese

3.5 Week Two - Results!

3.5 A
"The Huff-Whines' Boys" continued winning this week without dropping a line.
The purloined Chris Jones made his debut this week with a impressive 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Lifetime Squeeked out a 3-2 victory over JCC.
LT was a 3rd set tiebreaker at line #2 singles away from receiving the Epic Fail of the Week.

The First real match of the 3.5 season is next week when Lifetime takes on the Mighty Glenn Strohl and Brookhaven @ Lifetime fitness.

3.5A Team Standings

3.5 B
Durrty Garland Debuted this week with a impressive 5-0 victory over Greenhill.
Westlake squeek out a victory over Canyon Creek.
Westlake's weakness at singles is begining to be revealed.
Sam Grand Continues to look like they maybe a threat.
Flight B heats up next week when Westlake takes on High Point.

3.5B Team Standings

3.5 C
Flight leader, Greenhill beat Brookhaven 3-2, The Stein Bros dropped both singles lines but Greenhill dominated in doubles,
Canyon Creek made it look easy vs the Lakes winning 4-1.
And Fretz continued to win downing the Village 4-1.
Looks like this division could get interesting with CC, GH, Fretz, and possibly OC all capable of pulling out a win over each other and everybody else.

3.5C Team Standings

Next Week :
Brookhaven @ Lifetime
and
Westlake @Highpoint
