It is finally time for annual heat stroke inducing Dallas City Playoffs. With all of the comments preoccupied with Mixed, I decided it is time to take a break and get to an important event. Since I am short on time, let me get started.
5.0-- We have the division I am most optimistic about advancing to Nationals and winning. This is one of those play-in tournament events.
2 v 3 Match--We have Cooper Fitness/Vahdat-Noel versus the 5.0 ever present Perkison (formerly Village and now Springpark). This looks to be a tight match. Cooper has current Louisville player Parker Wynn and a lot of players I don't know. I am guessing they are really good. Cooper won the head to head 2-1 in the first week Perkison has Loren Collins and longtime 5.0s with other players I don't know. I will take Cooper in a 2-1 but I expect a dog fight.
In the Winner to Sectionals match, it will be the Cooper/Springpark winner versus Lakes/Jannasch. The Lakes have a tremendous team. They only dropped one line all year. Lakes has a lot of options and the beat Cooper 3-0 without dropping a set. They beat Springpark 3-0 but former Baylor player Zoltan Papp did take 3 sets to beat Kyle Davidson.
In the end, I take the Lakes to win this and go on to win sectionals. These are three really great teams. I don't see a wildcard in their future but any of these teams would represent Dallas well.
4.5-- Greenhill/Rossouw-- We start withe the ever present City Playoff participant and QT winner Greenhill/Rossouw. Normally, I don't think too hghly of QT winners but this team is pretty good and like all Rossouw teams... very deep. This is a deep, experienced and talented team. He has several marginal 4.5 playoff players but he does have some top in 4.5s as well. Marc's top players are very formidable. I think this QT champ is in the mix.
Brookhaven/Bartlett--This is a name I don't generally associate with 4.5 City Playoffs but it is another large deep roster. I don't think they have the top end players of some of the other rosters. They will do well but I think they are probably safe from the August Sectionals heat.
Brookhaven/Harlee-- This is a name I do typically associate with 4.5 City Playoffs. Like the other BH team, it has really good players but he appears to be lacking those next level ringers that could be playing in 5.0 and competing. They will be in the mix but I am not sold.
JCC/Reiman-- This is another frequent attendee at this event. Thye have top talent like Clint Sumrow and they will be a tough out. I expect them to have a good chance to win this event.
Sprinkpark/Aguilar-- These are the new kids on the block and the surprising number 1 seed. They are clearly a very good team. I am curious to see how they stand up in the post season.
In the end, I will take JCC and Springpark with JCC wnning a close 3-2. Springpark will be hoping for a wildcard but 4.5 is so iffy about wildcards.
I will be back tomorrow to ponder 4.0!
No wild in 4.5. Springpark is in
ReplyDeleteBook it
No wild...is that a guess or a fact?
ReplyDeleteWe usually don't get a Wild in 4.5.
ReplyDeleteSpringPark said that last year and got killed. But, let's give the hated mixed team club some credit. They have a 4.5 and 5.0 team in the conversation. See they dont need Kelley to make playoffs.
ReplyDeleteThink again, he was needed last year and will be needed this year. Playing for Raja instead. Better team if they tried. Nobody beats Kelley and Hyunh in dubs. Two quickest cats on the planet.
DeleteEven scarier is that Sam will be playing 4.0 next year! WOWZA!
Delete"Better team if they tried."
DeleteWhy didn't they try? Or maybe they went 0-10 because they're just not very good.
Well I know Sam was busy with work and not much time to practice and I think kelly training for marathons so he is just too tired to play. A few of the other guys had nagging injuries and quite a few times had to default a line or two. Looking at the scores they lost 7 matches 3-2. They could easily have been 7-3 so they will regroup and be ready for next year.
ReplyDelete7-3? Let's not kid ourselves and make up stats.
DeleteThey won 6 lines...all season. Lost 44 lines. That is the worst record in all of Dallas 4.5 this year. Not buying that the worst team in the league was "better" than undefeated Springpark, as 10:50 was laughably claiming.
6-44 is better than 5-45. 10:50 not "claiming anything", just stating facts.
DeleteFact is, 6-44 was worst in the league. And Springpark's 38-12 was best in the league.
DeleteNothing personal...every league has to have a last place, and this year it happened to be Garland-Kanchi.
Murray still world number one as well. Kanchi team still the best. Just a fluky season
DeleteMurray still #1 but Tomic the tank engine might be better comparison
DeleteWhen and where do we get draws for sectionals?
ReplyDeleteI think Friday... sent to team captains
ReplyDeleteJust got times and draws. All men's matches either at Kiest or Samuel Grand starting at 10 pm each day and Ladies are at Dallas country club and indoors at Four seasons whenever they agree it doesn't interfere w big lunches and sleeping late.
ReplyDeleteSavage
DeleteFred Savage?
ReplyDeleteThink he is looking for Winnie Cooper.
DeleteTomic can tank bec he doesn't need the money nor does he care..... hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteTime for big D to get a wildcard!!!! We are next in succession!
ReplyDeleteWho cares who wins the stupid playoff in 4.5. Freeman has a team that won't be beaten this year. I feel sorry for whoever lands in their flight
ReplyDeleteTrue statement, everybody playing for second. One guy has made his way to 4.5 from. 5.5... lol
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the 4.0 predictions or has everyone already defaulted to Raja???
ReplyDeleteRaja wins it easily. Hai and Rajiv best 4.0's in Dallas.
ReplyDeleteThat's only 1 line.
ReplyDeleteThat's only 1 team. Many more. It will be no contest.
ReplyDeleteZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
ReplyDeleteWake up and smell the coffee. There is a new sheriff in town!
ReplyDeleteNo wild card for Dallas in 4.5. WTH !?!?!
ReplyDeleteThat will go to the "fair and square" league in Houston
ReplyDeleteDallas/ NETX/NOHO/ San Angelo. LOLOL
ReplyDeleteSETX/ HOUSTON/ FT WORTH/ VALLEY
SAN ANTONIO/ AUSTIN/ CORPUS/ Lubbock
Dallas free pass to semis
Do you have 4.0 breakouts?
DeleteCorpus/Dallas/Wild/SETX
DeleteSAN Angelo/wild/HOUSTON/ Amarillo
Austin/Lubbock/San Antonio/ Waco
Wild/Valley/NETX/FT worth
Gonna be a good match between Team Aguilar vs Team Rossouw tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteMeh.... mediocre 4.5's going at each other.
ReplyDeleteHey, even a blind squirrel finds a nut
ReplyDeleteSaw aguilar top singles player. Id say a tad over mediocre.
ReplyDeleteThat japanese kid is a Stud. Nice pickup for Aguilar. Colin County #1
ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't get DQ'd I'd be surprised. 6 games lost in 3 matches at cities...
DeleteDone nothing yet. Let's wait and see what happens. Won a few matches in a mediocre dallas 4.5 league where most of the best players aren't playing. Great player locally, outside of Dallas he gets whalloped.
ReplyDeleteYou must be kidding. His mediocre results are obvious tanking. Kid is a stud - easy 5.5
DeleteKeep kidding yourself.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know who won?
ReplyDeleteSpringpark easily
ReplyDeleteTwo kids on SP easy 5.0/5.5 self rates.
DeleteYep both guaranteed lines through sectionals if they don't get dq''d. If the Japanese kid doesn't get dq'd though would be shocking. He looked like he was playing against 3.5 guys in comparison to his game.
DeleteSolid player but a solid 4.5. Frankly some of his opponents are not 4.5's but nice try
DeleteHe was playing roussow players. They have gone nowhere
ReplyDeletePlaying line 1 for Colin County says it all. Kid is out of level. Let's see what happens after they run the computer tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYou must have been on the losing team? Or the captain of it
DeleteHey....how about some love for the 4.0s!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteKid is way out of level. Here comes a response from the Spring Park team
ReplyDeleteAguilar is from the Tony Le tree, cheat cheat and cheat some more.
ReplyDeleteDamn good at it though! Tint is my master!
DeleteWada will be gone today or tomorrow, a definite DQ. He killed former 5.0s like Cash, top end 4.5s like Smith and Hill. he has 5 matches over the season that are considered non competitive and 3 of them are blowouts.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention his only loss is with the other kid against 4.0 guys. Really??? Nice try springpark
DeleteCash is an avg 4.5, Hill over the hill and Smith a low 4.5. None of the guys mentioned are anything spectacular. Leave Le out of it, he will be a 3.5 next year so 4.5 stuff he is norremoteky close to
DeleteAnother day of Springpark dominance in mixed and men's. Another funny thing is both the teams they beat complain and bitch. Maybe if they recruit better or actually play some of their players who are too scared to be in the lineup there might be a different outcome. You lose you whine, you win you ate out of level. Same crap every year.
DeleteSame crap every year are recruits that are out of level. It's a broken record and springpark happens to be the ones pulling the shenanigans this year. A 5.0 bumpdown doesn't get rolled by an at level 4.5. Unless it's an 18 year old college player like the springpark kid.
DeleteTony Le a genius
DeletePeople bitching about SP GUY beating Clint cash !??? Have u seen Clint cash losses to Chabra and Daniel Keller??? Gimme a break. Cash has a losing record at 4.5. Come up w a better reason.
ReplyDeleteWada line 3 and 4 for top 15 juco is good period... 1050 ITF junior ranking prior... dunno if that's grounds for DQ. Probably only got 1 or 2 strikes as his dntrp adjusted. We will see if he survives
ReplyDeleteHe will survive although a certain captain will exhaust all options trying to get him dq'd
ReplyDeleteThe facts are there for a DQ. On top of that he will be in for a surprise for a NJCAA violation that somehow his captain didnt inform him of. To be continued.....
ReplyDeleteYou old dallas guys need to get a life and realize age is carching up and you cant compete like you used too
ReplyDeleteExactly! IMO there is no way a 40 year old will beat a 20 year old. Kid is a solid 4.5 and nothing else. He ran across nobody w consistency or mental toughness. Quit the belly aching.
DeleteWe need a match of the AGES! The JCC kids parents puts up a $100,000! Kelly puts up his Ferrari! Winner take all! DTA sponsors it and Admission $10. Proceeds go to Tony Le's bunch to cover expenses for nationals next year. Stevie Wonder can be the chair umpire. Held at LB Houston to coincide w Rains retirement party. Balloons, games, free tanking and self rating classes. Tickets thru Tankitmaster.
DeleteBwahahahaha!! Best post of 2017! Keep it coming!
DeleteYou young guys need to figure out that tricky "too" vs "to" thing.
ReplyDeleteWhat's worse? Self rating low and winning or winning nationals and then tanking to get to 3.5.
ReplyDeleteBoth bad and both cheating. But I'm sure it's worth the glory of winning a towel or a medal in an adult recreation league.
DeleteWhat will be fun to watch is Le and company winning 3.5 nationals then tanking to get to 3.0! I have to admit this is gonna be a blast to watch unfold!
DeleteStill waiting on the love for 3.5s, 4.0s and 5.0s!!!!
ReplyDeleteGonna be a long wait ALzero!
ReplyDeleteSo this blog is for calling cheaters, and not recognizing all winners? Cool!
ReplyDeleteNot sure beating the same team THREE times is cheating. I would say SP head and shoulders better than their opponent, much much better. Aguilar slowly becoming an Alan A protege
ReplyDeleteAlan had nothing to do with our team. We don't play with ladies. This is men's tennis.
DeleteIs Jorge Aguilar related to Carlos? The guy who just won a deciding match in 5.0 city playoffs after being rated a 3.5 a couple of year ago.
ReplyDeleteThey are brothers obviously. To my knowledge Tony Le self rated him. Just shows how Tiny went to all lengths to win.
DeleteNo, has nothing to do with him. He was never rated 3.5. He self rated that bec he didn't understand the self rate guidelines.
ReplyDeleteActually he self-rated 4.0, lost all his matches to get to 3.5 -then got DQ'd up to 5.0 and started winning.
DeleteWhich Aguilar was the one Zackury got demolished by and he turned him in? That really put a dent in Tony's mega team.
ReplyDeleteCan we have a blog about sectionals now?
ReplyDeletewho won 4.0 city playoffs?
ReplyDeleteGarland/Russell 1st Oak Creek- wildcard after being upset Sunday Morning by Huffhines
ReplyDeleteGotcha, they have any chance of advancing?
ReplyDeleteBoth pretty good teams but Winning at Sectionals very hard
ReplyDeleteDoes Dallas have a chance at winning any of the levels this year at sectionals ?
ReplyDeletelook, when you have a team that has had 39 chances to get to nationals, played out of two cities (one being very weak) and over a 1,000 different roster combinations and you still can't win??? Then no I don't think Dallas does. However, I would say Aguilar a much better captain bec most likely he won't play himself when it matters. If it happens this is the team to break the drought. Dallas hasn't been to nationals in men's since 2010.... lol
ReplyDeleteMens 4.5 you mean?? because the Le 4.0 team won nationals a few years back and Clark won nationals at 40+ in 4.0 that same season.
DeleteSorry, meant 4.5...... 4.0 not on anyone's radar
Deleteno sectionals preview???
ReplyDeleteNo sense previewing until the wild cards have been assigned. 4.5 doesn't have any, but 4.0 has 3. Dunno why it's taking so long this year. The tournament's in 2 weeks. Sheesh!
DeleteYes, men's 4.5. Dallas has multiple national titles since 2010. Heck Kelley has three by himself. He was even on that 2010 national team. I hope the drought ends for 4.5 this year. Aguilar a deserving captain as he has played everything by the book. He knows went to not play himself, his rosters aren't 50 plus, he doesn't complain about tankers and he loves him some Asians!
ReplyDeleteAnd Aguilar also doesn't sit around other league matches and stir up divisiveness and trouble and buddy up with DTA peeps who should be objective. Absolutel joke and frankly wreaks of collusion and the good ol boy system.
DeleteThis post will now say how good Ronnie is. Stop posting about yourself
DeleteI wasn't aware I was posting about myself?? I have no issue putting my name out when I post stuff. Looks like Cary is the only other person that has balls and doesn't hide behind "Anonymous."
DeleteYes but he is not winning so that doesn't count.
DeleteReally sound logic there...
Delete:)
Delete:0
DeleteWho lobbied to get Dallas a blow off flight in 4.5? Someone must have begged for something easy considering it's been a while since they've made it out of group play
ReplyDeleteTake a wild guess. Not difficult to figure out who... pleeeeeez
DeleteLook, when you have the largest losing streak in tennis history you will lobby for even a free hamburger! Go after your dreams! From failure comes glory ( or at least you luck into a title at some point)
ReplyDeleteNobody will ever remember the flight you won in league. They only remember what you did on Sunday in the finals. Let's hope they get there.
ReplyDeleteReally?... hmmmm I remember all 32 of them...
DeleteKelley
We are talking about mere mortals, not you Voldemort
DeleteThey need to hope for Houston in the finals, not the semis.
ReplyDeleteThey need to hope Houstons whole team gets dq'd. I heard they had leagues and scores with no actual matches played. LOL
DeleteI heard one of the Houston 4.0 teams is really bad at trivia
ReplyDeleteI heard all of them are.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the 5.0/5.5 Dallas team is the only real favorite at sectionals. Womens 4.5 too.
ReplyDeleteDallas won't make it for 4.5. Who wants to captain all star team next year?
ReplyDeleteReiman and Roussouw would be butt hurt
DeleteIf Raja and Aguilar combined their 4.5 teams w a few on each roster they win easily.
DeleteWhat happened in 4.0? I thought Garland/Kanchi was a lock for sectionals?
ReplyDeleteRaja wanted to keep everyone a 4.0 and didn't care about winning.
ReplyDeleteIf he doesn't care why worry about keeping them at 4.0?
DeleteTo 2:54
DeleteRead 1;11
You will know the answer next year. He has a plan in mind and it's gonna be HUGE! He already has the three best 4.0's in Dallas on his team and if Sam gets down he will have Rajiv, Tony, Hai , himself and Sam. If he were to add TET look out. He will have a 4.0 spectacular! Raj always looking ahead!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, best 4.0's in Dallas could combine:
DeleteDaniel Yeh, Hai, Rajiv, Brandon W,, Tony, Raja, TET, Vincent N., Josh... wow!
U mean Victor N. Vincent 4.5.... but yes that 4.0 team unstoppable. You add Sam to that and USTA could just mail them the trophy before the first ball struck. Raja making a name for himself as the captain everyone wants to play for.
DeleteLine 1 singles :Yeh
DeleteLiine 2 singles : Hai
Line 1 dubs: Rajiv, Victor
Line 2 Dubs : TET, Tiny
Line 3 dubs: Raja, Brandon
Alternate : Josh
Nuff said
For those new to the dta blog, the preceding four posts were a captain posting about himself
ReplyDeleteRaja great team couldn't Win this year ne3xt year will be NO DIFFERENT!!!!
ReplyDeleteSee earlier post, Raja planning for next year. Not trying to win this year.
DeleteFor others new to the blog, most of the haters have won nothing, or have played 39 straight leagues without getting out of Texas.
ReplyDelete...or wasted a season tanking down. Yawn.
DeleteBetter one than 10 years of failure and watching others advance...
ReplyDeleteAnd then complaining to the DTA "their ringer is better than ours"... waa waa
DeleteFailure, hmm. Tanking is a boring waste for all involved. If it's your cup of tea or you're that starved for a win, go for it. Get that banner. Some tennis players will be impressed. Many will not.
ReplyDeleteBut let's not kid ourselves that it takes some kind of genius to tank and win.
You people act like all you have to do is tank down a level and you can win sectionals... if it was that easy then Dallas would have at least made it out of group play in 4.5 the last few years...
ReplyDeleteI understand that winning a nationals title is the goal. Tanking, score managing and allowing the opposing opponents believe they won is what I hate most.
ReplyDeleteAlways the same guys tanking and managing. Wish we could do something about it.
If your not tanking your not trying hard enough in league.
ReplyDelete^^^Yeah that's what we want. Two guys "trying hard enough" - taking turns double faulting b/c they're scared their rating might not drop. That's where this logic takes us.
ReplyDeleteProblem is most of you people could tank down and still lose. Most of the 4.5 guys that have been tricked into playing on big rosters, giving money to FW AND DALLAS IN 18's and 40's and told "I will get you two matches" so everybody plays really need to be 4.0's because at nationals they would get beat at 4.0. Keep drinking the juice!
DeleteOn a more positive note, please begin watching at 1:15 as the president congratulates Mr. Mike Kelley at his Hall of Fame gathering and recognition speech for his Dallas league domination and putting Texas tennis on the map. Pretty impressive honor and for those who were unable to attend here it is:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.c-span.org/video/?432009-1/president-trump-meets-business-leaders
Rofl.... hilarious! Where do you find this stuff??? Absolute classic. This blog is second to none. It's like the "cherry on the pie"!
ReplyDeleteIs that real????? Wow!
ReplyDeleteCan we talk about combo? Just around the corner
ReplyDeleteWhy would we talk about ladies tennis?
ReplyDeleteBecause most stuff around here whining like women?
Deletesisk shud win combo
ReplyDeleteLong as he got Zacry.
Deletenot sure zacry will play much. he is only playing if match not needed
DeleteNah. Raja 4.0's better
ReplyDeleteNot better, just a cupcake draw. DTA screwed Sisk and put the better teams on his side. Tired of him winning combo and Kelley being on his roster also didn't help. Look for Raja to win this year and stop the Sisk domination.
ReplyDeleteRaja winning just about everything he captains it seems
ReplyDeleteI expect big things out of his sectionals team!
Deletedidn't one of those teams just finish in last place in Dallas... 0-10, ouch
DeleteYes but they competed each and every week, brought their lunch pail to work and left it all they had on the court. To run you must learn to walk first. They are much better for having gone through it. The valleys make you appreciate the peaks even more.
ReplyDeleteThat's fair. Maybe more props to the captains at all levels who quietly went about their business and actually had winning seasons. For example Lakes 5.0 might be one of the stronger national contenders ever
ReplyDeleteKinda like SP mixed every year? Except they do it every year for last 10 years. Alan A has built a dynasty and frankly if they don't make it to nationals it's a wasted season. Winning the league is a given. Pretty amazing stuff out of a little club w the best lessons, drills and mixers in the metroplex.
ReplyDeleteThe "Raj Mahal" is the next big captain and player to take over Dallas!
DeleteDude gets a lot of play for a guy who never won his own flight.
DeleteIs anything more pathetic than Combo? Maybe mixed.
ReplyDeleteWell, only thing I can think of is never having won either of them. Keep up the hope though.
DeleteSpecializing in Combo and Mixed.
DeleteOnly thing more pathetic is playing almost 50 leagues w rosters of 30 or more and losing every time. And then being doing it again. Insanity. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
ReplyDeleteBest 4.5 dubs teams in Dallas? Best 4.5 singles in Dallas?
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese kid is best in singles and doubles this year for sure.
DeleteDubs teams....
Deletemike kelly
ReplyDeleteMy vote for best singles would be Wada, by far the best doubles player in Dallas is Kelly. Best captains Aguilar and Alan A and honorable mention goes to Raja. Best up and coming player goes to Teterud.
ReplyDeleteTET! TET! TET! Will be a 5.0 in two years!
DeleteNot in 2 lifetimes.
DeleteWrong pal.... put your name down and let's play a match for the world to see!
DeleteTET
"Battle of the sexist"
Can't believe we haven't had a sectionals thread to cover what happened and what's to come...
ReplyDeleteR u kidding? That's boring. Mixed and combo takes the spotlight. You have Raj Mahal, Hai Lose ( only to Kelly), Flake Beerden, Rajiv Ram or Ayotollah Kommeneni (whichever you prefer), Alex "whooping" Crane, Tiny Le, Cliff/Shana Lazarin's kid Krystyan, Jay Benjamin Becker, etc all slated to play combo. And of course the King himself currently sitting on two titles w his trusty sidekick Voldemort. Sectionals feels like a bake sale compared to this stuff.
DeleteJust hand the championship to Sisk. He already has 3 "Wins."
DeleteSisk has won enuff. Give someone else a chance! Damn he's got a trilevel title and two combo titles!!! Time for Raj Mahal to get some hardware.
DeleteNeither Combo or Tri have a recognized Natty.
DeleteSisk trying to get to 4 titles. Wow. Let Raj or Queensley get their first! Hell, Kelly has two trilevel titles and two combo titles! Time to spread the wealth! Go Taj!
DeleteCombo sectionals in Dallas this year so no excuse for not traveling. Should make it better since everyone will have full rosters.
DeleteYou people have ruined a great blog with the idiotic posts and glorification of Raja, Kelly and others. This will be my last blog ever. Some of the blogs are so ridiculous it's simply nauseating. Where do you people come up with some of this stuff??????? See ya and wouldn't wanna be ya
ReplyDeleteInevitable when you have a few cap'ns who love seeing their names on a comment feed and can post at will.
DeleteTET
ReplyDeletePoor dallas... Wada on the way to Japan ... no matches for him this weekend
ReplyDeletewow, they will lose to Houston now
ReplyDeleteThey would have lost anyway
ReplyDeleteLol Dallas gonna lost to San Antonio
ReplyDeleteDalas win with Zacry
DeleteDallas would get beat worse w zaceree
DeleteSan Antonio beat Dallas
ReplyDeleteIt was three matches to zero and they pulled the other 2 courts off
Until Kelley and some other of these 4.5's in Dallas who don't take league serious there will be no trips to nats. Solid Aguilar team but no clutch gamers who just win. Still had a good run though but again a bridesmaid.
ReplyDeleteI agree but whatcha gonna do???? Can't force these guys to play. Kelley Too busy clowning around on Raja's team!!!!
DeleteWhen you have rosters of 30 or more for almost 10 years and still can't get out of Texas says all you need to know. Until certain captains quit policing the league and causing trouble you will never have a shot. It should show us that average players, large rosters and captains who play themselves in big matches is not a recipe for success. Most likely this trend continues for years. Good thing is DTA loves the league fees and doesn't have to shell out league money for nationals, unless it's mixed.
ReplyDeleteTET
DeleteWayne should of played Dong in singles and they win easy. Bummer
DeleteWayne should have played TET and they win easier.
ReplyDeleteTime for combo preview. Raja wins cities and sectionals. Sisk 4.0's solid with Yeh and Hai and Womack but very average after that. Too many on roster. Raja has A solid core group.
ReplyDeleteHouston wins 4.5
ReplyDeleteand 3.5. and 4.0.
DeleteEverything goes in Houston. Here you have too many turning everyone in so no way to have ringers. No sham leagues exist but need to
DeleteI think that's what makes anyone from dallas who wins titles in mixed, trilevel, combo and men's pretty damn impressive. 3 0f 4 of those is sic. After this weekend u can see how difficult it is too get out of Texas. Hats off to "the person whose name we don't say".
DeleteOf course, they don't have captains that play themselves and tattle tail on other players and their rating. Dallas will never be able to put together a super team bec of too much jealousy and hatred toward those who win and time spent policing the league, when in fact most of thatbteam should be playing 4.0. Years and years of failure should be your first clue.
ReplyDeleteBig props to Dallas 5.0 for winning sectionals. Those guys can play.
ReplyDeleteDallas won 3.0 and 5.0! Congrats as Dallas won 40% of the events.
ReplyDeleteDallas 5.0 displayed some solid playing. They don't bichhh and cry like us 4.0 4.5 guys amongst each other.
ReplyDelete
