  2. Funny that something I created 8 years ago because I was bored at my job has created such fun. He He. Some good reads lately, I am almost tempted to post again but alas I don't get to hang out on a computer that much anymore but love the contributors work.

  3. Cary - to your point, I actually went back to old blog posts when you started this thing back in 2007. The same things were being commented on back then that they are today....Houston beating Dallas at Sectionals, people tanking, people playing out of level, stacked tri-level teams, year end ratings, etc. etc. It is actually quite entertaining to go back and read this and see nothing has changed.

A huge thank you should be given to you for creating it, and a huge thank you to the original contributors like Corey, and yes, Klamecki as well, and to our current contributor Murray. I see you were inspired by Houston's blog and it has been dead for over a year now. I'm glad to see Dallas's blog still alive and think it is a unique thing to the Dallas tennis community.

That being said, I was quite surprised when I read comments about DTA taking actions based on information or posts that were made by certain individuals on this blog. We all know what is said on here gets elaborated and inflated, and I can't imagine that comments made on this blog were actually used as a reference to make judgment on one's character that resulted in disciplinary actions. If that truly is the case, Klamecki should have been banned for life!

For those who were effected, I hope you feel more comfortable providing insights given our blog "disclosures" and keep us informed.

And again, Cary - thanks to you for creating. I hope you do come back and become a contributor again. It is your baby.

  5. Shouldn't this blog be affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous? Seems like lots of members of both around here.

  6. It's a shame..
The DTA is a shady, closed door, members only organization.
The association should be out there growing the sport and spreading good will, not trying to be the Dallas Tennis Illuminati.

  9. I wouldn't come back here and post my explanation either, after the ridiculous name calling directed at him and others. "I'll come on here and explain, and it will be my last blog post...."
