For those of you that haven't been around long, Sisk was once an A-List captain. That doesn't mean he has given it up. He has turned his focus to Combo and has done quite well the last few years. He didn't have his top thoroughbred due to some DTA issues that nobody can understand. Yet, he still wins another 8.5 Combo.
At 7.5 you had a very evenly matched three team competition. Cheng wins it on tiebreakers with 3 teams all tied 2-2. Does anyone else think this is the kind of result the DTA loves?

ReplyDeleteThanks Murray! Lot's of help from Tony and his posse. Le and Gauvin played every match which bailed us out. Lots of good matches! Friday and Saturday success allowed us to "dial it back" in our last match today. 18s is not for me anymore, heart and effort is in 12u baseball. Great to see many friends this weekend!!! Fun stuff!!

ReplyDeleteSo in typical DTA fashion, we have three of the final four teams from the city championship in the same flight in 4.5. My team, JCC, and Brookhaven. And we play JCC week one. I guess after that match one of our teams can pack it in and play for fun the rest of the way. Brilliant scheduling as usual.

DeleteI have a lot of opinions on those suspensions that shall remain private, but in regards to Alan's, if in fact the reason he was suspended was because of comments made on an Internet blog, that is completely insane. Appeals meeting was yesterday I was told.

ReplyDeleteOur appeal was denied. The only thing they did was reduce Mike's and Gene's suspension to less then a year. This way we can't appeal at a national level. Tomorrow i will post what happened and let everyone in on the bs. Including why I think the Dta had a lot to do with helping the person who filed the grievance. I'm not signing my name after this post. This way they can't prove its me and take further actions.

DeleteAgree never the truth from him. Already the lies begin. Nothing was reduced they were always suspended for the same amount of time. the only change was that Spring Park can host 8.0 matches sooner. we will never get the truth from him but who cares they got what they deserved
