3.5 - Week 7

Alright it's getting to be that time of the year,
Matches are starting to matter,

Names are starting to be called,

Captains are being called out...

Week 7, Lets Get it ON!!!!!!

3.5 A

"The Huff-Whines' Boys" won again this week 3-2.
They keep just scraping by. Is this a sign of weakness or just part of Ratcliff's master plan to stay under the radar. In any event they are still on a crash course with Lifetime.

Lifetime and Brookhaven each won as well,

3.5A Team Standings

3.5 B
Durrty Garland delivered the death blow to High Point this week 4 -1.
Westlake squeaked by 3-2,
Setting up 5 - 0 Garland/
Sisk vs 5 - 0 Westlake/Haney for the B Division title.
This is for the Season, Believe it!

3.5B Team Standings

3.5 C
Epic Fail of the Week
Greenhill loses to Canyon Creek 2 -3,
This effectively turns this Division into a 4 way cluster fuck giving both Canyon Creek and Oak Creek an outside chance at slipping into the post season.
Hey Oak Creek, kicking yourself over that loss to the lakes?
Greenhill must run the Canyon Creek, Fretz, Oak Creek gauntlet to make it out alive.
And Fretz needs to win at least one of there last two versus CC or GH for guarantee post season play.
The next 3 weeks in this division should be very interesting,
Does Canyon Creek have it in them to make a run?

3.5C Team Standings

Match of the Week 6/14/2009 :
Westlake/Haney @ Garland/Sisk

  1. Match of the week? Durrdy Garland probably wins 6-0.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Do you even play league tennis?? 6-0?? Kind of tough with only 5 matches being played.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Westlake need to concede the singles lines, and bum rush the Garland Doubles lines,
With a little luck WL can win 3 - 2,
Garland has never have deep teams,
If they are missing a couple players they can be beat.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Agree, I think Garland will win 3-2, taking both singles with their two cheating 4.5 self rates, and stacking one doubles line. Sisk will probably put his best doubles line on 2 or 3 to get the third line win. Westlake definitely has a shot, but I think Durrty will win.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Love the poll, the majority voters think Gerber will beat the 4.0 player and lose to the 3.5 player. What does that say about what people think of Cary as a 4.0?

    ReplyDelete
  6. The Bazen/Gerber Baby match should have went down last night,
    I wonder what happened,

    FM BL vs GB tonight

    ReplyDelete
  7. "Love the poll, the majority voters think Gerber will beat the 4.0 player and lose to the 3.5 player. What does that say about what people think of Cary as a 4.0?"

I know... i thought the same thing. ouch. Unfortunatley, Bazan needs to appeal down to 3.5

    ReplyDelete
  8. I heard it was postponed by Cary.

    ReplyDelete
  9. If you honestly think a player on Garland's 3.5 team is really at 4.5 level you have no idea what 4.5 tennis looks like.

    ReplyDelete
  10. My match with Cary was not to be until this Thursday, but due to conflicts this week, it will be played sometime next week.

I am playing Marc tonight so we'll see how it goes. Got a little practice against Eddie last night so I should be ready to roll. Not sure what the poll results are based on but what the heck. I've never seen Cary or Marc play so who knows.

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  11. Seems fitting that Gerber and Eddie are now practicing together, more ego on one court than should be allowed in one city...

    ReplyDelete
  12. Well why don't you tell us your name and how good you are. I'm sure you are a 4.0 or higher just trolling in the 3.5 section cause you're bored.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Garland has never had deep teams??? Are you kidding me? What's their individual match record right now? How do you make it to nationals without a deep team?

And please don't start the "John's team has 4.5 players" thing again.

    ReplyDelete
  14. John knows how to work the system and from what I can tell, his players are not 4.5.....come on.
I am not on John's team, but respect him for what he does as a captain.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You want people to respect a damn cheater, c'mon now.

Sisk has the "If you can't beat them, you either join them or cheat them" mentality.

It's 3.5 tennis and either way you put it, what he does is not correct so only his own suck-ups will respect him.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Garland's team is VASTLY superior to Westlake and will win 4-1 or 5-0. The guys who think it will be close don't have a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hey Nancy,
You lied last year trying to provide cover for Sick and his cheating scum bags. Don't do it again.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I always have 4.5 + superstars. How did my supersters do vs Puerto Rico?

    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  19. Puerto Rico cheats so therefore its ok for me to cheat all you fellow DFW tennis players, if they didnt cheat I wouldnt cheat but they do cheat so I cheat. Its just the cheaters creed so get used to the cheating or quit playing tennis! Playing tennis is not for fun its for WINNING and going to Nationals, where all cheaters end up!

    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  20. Well said Sisk!
    How sad it is!!!
All the cheaters gather up in the nationals! New slogan for USTA!
We all know it is true to a large degree. Good luck Sisk in nationals this year! maybe PRs won't be a threat but boys from neighboring hifine's land will?

    ReplyDelete
  21. sisk is a real piece of work

    ReplyDelete
  22. You got to hand it to the guy.

He has 3 teams and 2 of them are undefeated. The only one not undefeated is his former 3.5 team that is playing 4.0 - and they are still winning their fair share.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ratdick, how come you are not coming to your mentor's defense? Stick up for the guy would ya, afterall, he taught you how to beat the system.

Tell you cheaters what; I'll pay for you two to honeymoon in Puerto Rico for a nice long weekend so you can go play a little tennis with them and you can all talk about how good you all are at beating the system and making it to nationals. The only condition is that you can't post a picture of yourselves on the beach in thongs, cause I don't want people from the Dallas area getting sick.

    Let me know.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sisk two singles guys may not be 4.5's but they are strong 4.0's. Terry beat both yaremenko and Demenstaere in team scrimmages, both of whom play some 4.0, and can hold their own at that level and both were crushed by terry, 0 and 1. His two singles guys are way out of level and he is the biggest cheater in Dallas tennis. He always seems to use PR as his reason but he was cheating way before that. I mean he went to nationals with 2 cheaters in flora and defeo. Quit protecting him already especially you Nancy!

    ReplyDelete
  25. The cheaters are invariably self-rated players. Most are smart enough to keep their scores close to avoid red flags and DQ.

Someday I'd like to see a team make Sectionals using only computer rated players. Probably will never happen . . .

    ReplyDelete
  26. Blame the system and quit bitching. It is what it is. bet everybody who bitches never has attempted to change the system. Its the same as bithing about politicians but never voting.

    ReplyDelete
  27. The system is appealing down when one is bumped (a pussy move but part of teh system), it is not self rating players way out of level and then managing their scores throughout the year knowing they will never lose. Get a clue!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Maybe Sisk should move to Puerto Rico if he is so motivated by them and want's to emulate their team.

    ReplyDelete
  29. So self rating isnt part of the system? The system doesnt tell you how to self rate(questions it asks you)? Come on get a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  30. self rates should be allowed to play regular season to establish a computer rating but not allowed in playoff competition until they have a computer rating

    ReplyDelete
  31. Good idea but until the system is fixed we get what we get regardless if we think its right or not. If it fits the current system then its legal.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Upcoming matches to watch!

    This week:

    Garland vs. Westlake
    CC vs Fretz

    Next week 6/21:

    Huffhines vs. BH
    Fretz vs. GH

    Final week:

    LTF vs Huffines

Good matches every week from here on out! See if the top teams can avoid any upsets in the meantime. Can Fretz continue winning now that they are playing the better teams in their flight? Can CC make a run in that flight? Could it be a 7-0 Huffines vs. 7-0 LTF the last week of the season?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Does anoyone know anything about flight C? Wasn't Fretz like 2-6 last season and they pretty much have the same squad? What is happening? I mean how often do teams come out of nowhere to make the playoffs? How did CC lose to Gleneagles? What about Springpark? Are they having a down year or are they choking? Can Greenhill win out? I think so - I think they will win the flight...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm predicting that either Lifetime or Brookhaven (maybe both)will lose this weekend in Flight A.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Fretz was 3-5 in the Fall with basically the same squad, yet they were in a division with CC, BH and LTF. Players have improved since then obviously, but they have not played either of the big boys in their flight, but get their chance the next 2 weeks to show they are for real! Who knows what is up with CC! I guess is you have a couple players missing or they play poorly, you can lose a match you should not have. Fretz losses the next 2 weeks imo.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hey Bazan, you must be a democrat? What's the matter, you don't like the votes on your match with Gerber so you make a sorry statement and ask for a recount.....nice!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Haha, thank you Nostradomus! You should put a name with that prediction, which HuffWhines player are you?

    ReplyDelete
  38. No Kidding, Bazan is a dog in the last poll and he replaces it with a new pole!! Haha

He had no problem leaving the other Gerber pole up there!

Rumor was that Bazan said there were some hanging chads with the previous vote!

    ReplyDelete
  39. 11:14 a.m. It doesn't take Nostradamus to preduct that Brookhaven may lose cause they have the playoffs wrapped up, so they can put out Alzurro and Shields for all they care. Don't know what you base your LTF loss prediction on, but don't see that as a close one. 4-1 LTF.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ratty, wheeeeeeere are you? You never told us about your birthday party, fill us in. I bet you cheated at that too and peaked through the blind fold while pounding the donkey pinata.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Durty 4, Westlake 1... watch and see fellas! How is HP out of the race if they are in 3rd? Don't the top 3 teams make it to compete for a sectional berth?

    ReplyDelete
  42. How many folks are tied up this weekend with the Plano Open? Could leave some rosters a little thin.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I heard from a Huffines player that was at Ratty's birthday, that he saw Ratty peaking through the blindfold when he was pinning the tail directly on the ass of the donkey! Not shocked!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Finals are in the AM of the Plano Open, should not be a problem. A number of LTF and Huffines players are in it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Any Plano Open predictions??

    ReplyDelete
  46. Plano open:
    3.5 - enrique molina
    4.0 - noaman azhar

    ReplyDelete
  47. Thye are not playing in the Plano Open, are you talking about Tyler MZ?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Let's see, Oleg is the 3 seed in the 4.0 draw, yet plays 3.5 league tennis. That makes sense!

    ReplyDelete
  49. The shrimpy ratdick would have it no other way.

    ReplyDelete
  50. oh, that's right, they are not playing in it. did they withdraw? I thought I saw them there. It's a different molina playing there. 4.0 draw is weak... full of 3.5 players. I guess for local tourneys, people play up...

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yeah, a lot of guys sometimes play up in local tourneys. The same way as a lot of 3.0s play up in 3.5s in league tennis.

    ReplyDelete
  52. here are my predictions for finals for plano open:
    Flores d. Anderson in 3.5
    Smithheisler d. Powell in 4.0

    ReplyDelete
  53. Remember it's gonna be HOT this weekend!!!
So, some grandpas won't last... like in the above picks.

Flores/Anderson is probable but there are other solid guys in the draw who can perform in the heat.

4.0 NO WAY. Old pa John will go down well before the final. Who the f is Powell? Crouch is a dog and runs every ball. he plays like an animal in the heat. He will beat Bowman from the bottom.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Where are this weeks predictions from our fearless selectors????

    ReplyDelete
  55. sorry about the poll but it won't let you extend the time to vote once the first person votes and since we aren't playing till next week I figured I wanted alan to see if he could garner 100 votes, I want to be a huge underdog next week so if I just push him to 3 sets than I can claim a small victory.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hey Cary, you playing the Plano Open by chance?

    ReplyDelete
  57. The 3.5 division looks like a lock for Huffhines players.Top half semi Sam Bert- Mark Anderson and the bottom half Larry Reitzer-GilFlores if he shows up and don't quit because of the heat. One of Huffhines players will win -hard to call maybe Sam Bert!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. anon,

No I am not playing the Plano open, I wanted to be ready for our SB match. Also my job situation was kind of crazy so I wasn't certain I could get off. Turns out I could have but the deadline was passed by then.

I do plan on playing one or two tourneys after the season ends. I really want to make it down to play in San Antonio (Blog road trip?) I haven't been to SA in a long time, I think I was 19...so long ago there was no riverwalk, just a river.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Predictions!!

    SP 3-2 over Village

    Plano Open

    Singles - Sam Bert
    Doubles - Bennett/Arcaria

Good luck to all this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Bennett/Arcaria, no way! They got lucky once, will not happen again.

    ReplyDelete
  61. What do you expect Bennett or Arcaria to say? That someone else will win it, come on!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Strohl and Mitterer own Arcaria and Bennett but I see where Glen is playing mixed in the Plano open so they might be ok, plus the draw looks kinda weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Me and Stephen would never pick ourselve, give me a break. Also, not sure how mitterer and Strohl own us, but ok. I guess me and Stephen need to prove the BH tournament was not a fluke. Either way I hope a ltf team wins.
    Arcaria

    ReplyDelete
  64. Please Arcaria, who are you trying to fool, nobody else cares enough about the plano open to even see who is in it let alone make a prediction... you are really pathetic!

    Huffines Rules!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Me and Stephen????

I am guessing you are and English scholar.

    ReplyDelete
  66. That's AN english scholar, moran

    ReplyDelete
  67. Plano Open is fun. Don't know why more people don't get in the tourney. It is local, and a lot of matches. What more could you ask for?

    ReplyDelete
  68. OC/BL,FM/BL,Big Pussy/BL-Just saw that you joined a 3.5 team. After all the talk about ringers-Sandbaggers what do we see another Pussy Alert.Couldn't cut with the big boys???.We don't want to hear any more of your BULLSHIT about other players you are no better.I'm suprised you didn't join Sisks team to be with a real Winner.

    ReplyDelete
  69. He tried but Sisk didn't want him.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sisk, we know those last statements were you, why don't you just sign your name next time. We know your bitter that Marc did not choose to play on your team. We know your cheating ass would take Marc in a second!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I put my name behind my post. I offered Marc 100.00 to join my team, he feels Lifetime has the better chance to advance to State/Nats, wish them the best. He will be a great addition, but not enough to win.
Early prediction GTC/Huffines to State. Oleg/ Chris will win vs lifetime in straightssssssssssssssssss.

    Money? place your bets?

    Sisk

    ReplyDelete
  72. We have plenty of English scholars on this board. What is a moran?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Why would anyone want to bet against someone with no morals? Oleg and Jones should win in straights, but careful there may be a surprise in the bag for you fatty. And besides, why would anyone bet on a true 3.5 against Rattys cheaters? Lets see, played college, played up and won a couple matches at 4.5 in 2002/3/4, wins the majority of their 4.0 matches, etc. etc. etc.

My bet would be that when Ratdick hand feeds you those chocolate bars for the tricks and favors you've done for him, that he would lose at least two fingers.

    ReplyDelete
  74. This is as close to a public statement as I am going to provide.

I am done with my 4.0 season now,
and my team did not qualify for the play-offs, so I have some open weekends now,

I have been asked by several teams to return to 3.5 tennis,
and after talking with several Capts I believe that I will have the greatest impact with the LT team,
Contrary to what Sisk said, I don't necessarily believe they they are my best chance to get to the Sectionals,
But they seem to be the most excited as a team to have my help.

Looking Forward to taking down Huffwhines in two weeks...
    Believe It!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Congrats to LT BL. Not on the team, but he is a great player, a great addition, and gives them that 1 extra player that they need to make it at that level. Good for him. I hope he has a chance to make it to nationals.

You will probably only get their once without cheating to do it. Make the most of it. I hope u guys can do it.

Gerber, Bennet, Arcaria, Demenstre, and Klamecki. Nice team, they need more players to step up to win it. Let's see if the 2nd tier players can make a difference.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Dear Marc, You have always had a big mouth let's see if you can back it up. I doubt it. Huffhines is going to kick you ass for all your namecalling.Everyone else is the WHINNERS not them!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Marc,

You said you were asked by several 3.5 coaches to play on their team. I don't think ayone asked....you probably begged. You are a legend in your own mind.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wow, it looks like Fretz beat CC 4-1. I guess they're for real.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Huffhines dominated the 3.5 singles at the Plano Open with 3 of the 4 Semi-final players with Sam Bert Winning the title.Congrats

    ReplyDelete
  80. So what the singles draw was a joke!

    ReplyDelete
  81. No kidding, I thought it was the 3.0 singles final. I could not believe it when someone told me that it was the 3.5 final!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Marc Klamecki after all the bashing and all the talking you join a 3.5 team. "I was just testing the system". Bull shit. You don't have the balls or the game to play 4.0. After you called all these people pussies and other bad words you are worst because you bash people and do the same thing. Please. Any dumb ass can hit a forehand hard into the back of the fence. You are all show and no game. I can't wait for Huffines to take you out. Pick your posion Chris or Oleg or Enrique or Sam. All three of them can kick your butt. Pick your opponent and I am sure they will make sure to give you that opponent. All of them want a piece of you.

    Come on!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Marc has a chance to win Sectionals. Why NOT! It is a great experience.

    ReplyDelete
  84. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think we need to start having a weekly acadamy awards. Sisk sure does have his players manage their scores well. Terence the untollerable gives up 9 games to a 3.0 rated player. I don't know what is more impressive, his tennis or his acting. Then he has Fonseco lose, although his opponent looks like a pretty solid player. However, that is not the singles performance we would expect from a Sisk line 1.

Then his side kick Ratty goes into JCC with 2 automatic wins from defaults, so he nicely places Chris Jones with a weak doubles partner and gets Jone's his well deserved loss he needs to keep him off the radar screen.

Then an amazing hats off to Fretz running the table in Flight C. We never knew you had it in you Albrecht.

    Nicely done captains.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Well said.

What Laurel and Hardy (squared) do as captains is a disgrace. They should be DQed as captains.

    ReplyDelete
  87. There's a big difference between crying and stating facts. All of the above are facts, so then, it seems like you are the one that is crying of embarrassment.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Let's talk about the two huge matches next week:
    Huffhines vs BH
    Greenhill vs Fretz.
Lots to play for in both.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Anon 6;12am, As for your last post
Please check your facts Molina and Big Mouth Klamecki have played a couple of times and have split matches. As far as Lifetimes Singles players beating Huffhines singles players we will find out when all the talk stops and you have play.Big talk does not win tennis matches.Ask Klamecki how he does against Chris Jones you won't like his answer.Lifetime seems to be the best talking players in our league.Between Gerber and Klamecki they don't have room for any more egomanics.I will be rooting for Huffhines when they play along with most the other players I have talked to.Everyone HATES Lifetime.I hope there is lot's of room at Huffhines to watch because there should be a big crowd!!!! GO Huffhines!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Perhaps Klamecki split matches with Molina in the past, but I have seen both play very recently, and it's not even close anymore, klamecki will kick his ass. I don't think you can find a post on here that says that Lifetime will kick Huffines ass in singles during that match, cause as has been stated many a time on here, LTF has players that are solid and at their proper level. On the other hand, Huffines has to resort to cheating to win and has players (Jones and Yaremenko) that are clearly out of level. Any way you put it, they are sandbaggers. Just explain the Yaremenko deal (playing college, 4.5, 4.0, and now 3.5) if you want to dispute any of it. Sure, you all can stick to your bullshit about the system allows it, but everyone and anyone knows the real deal. So hate on LTF all you want, but Huffines are the trailer park trash.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Huffines vs. BH a huge match, what the hell have you been smoking? BH has the playoffs wrapped up, they could care less about the season matches dipshit. Look at the lines they've been throwing out, it's not difficult to figure out.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Oh and one other thing noticed about yaremenko at the Plano Open this past weekend. Not only is he a sandbagger, but he cheats his ass off on line calls. He was hooking people on calls like there's no tomorrow. But nobody should be surprised. At least he's consistant, cheating at everything he does.

    ReplyDelete
  93. 7:54 poster, or should I just say "liftime angry poster"? Klemecki has an outside shot at upsetting someone on Huffines but he is the only one. Demetsanari cant beat anybody as evidenced by his loss against Stonebridge yesterday and it looks like Gerber the ego has lost his confidence in his own play at singles as he only played singles for the last two seasons on the lifetime team until yesterday... what gives??? Need a little confidence boost? Dont look to get one vs. Huffines it will be UGLY!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Gerber had already played two matches that day at the Plano Open, with that heat he was moved to doubles. That is the only reason.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Sorry, I am not trying to hate, but Oleg was hooking his first opponent at the Plano Open badly. The opponent, even though he won was not happy with calls because they were obvious in calls that Oleg was calling out. It was ugly!

    ReplyDelete
  96. Props to Fretz for a nice win. You proved me wrong, let's see if you can hold on for the division, and a direct ticket into the City's. Big match with GH this weekend!

Also, I agree the BH/Huffines match is not a big match, obviously BH does not care about the regular season with the lineups they are putting out there, as stated above.

    ReplyDelete
  97. 8:16 a.m., I may have an ego, but I have the balls to back that ego and put my name next to my posts. You must be a little piss ant weasel. I play where ever the hell our captain tells me to play. I wanted to play singles yesterday regardless but Kaiser asked me to play doubles. As you can see from the results, I won at doubles as well and did not tank my match as others clearly do when playing doubles. Eat that, jerk.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Forgot to sign the above.

    Gerber

    ReplyDelete
  99. I was watching Oleg's matches this weekend too. On the other hand, I saw him giving away too many points! He was just playing them or not calling out when they were slightly out! So, obviously you are one of the shitbags whom he kicked in the ass. He is on my team and I played him many times. He calls balls fine.

    ReplyDelete
  100. huff huff (or nuff nuff or puff puff) will go down! they are in for some suprise up their a$$! read this and live shitless scared until next week when LFT chops off your tiny balls.

    ReplyDelete
  101. yeah, with your ego, Gerber, you can post anything. I hope you can prove it up on the court.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Based on the Yaremenko trend from college to 4.5 to 4.0 to 3.5, his next obvious step would be 3.0. I'll bet he's already talking to Bender. No wonder he tanks doubles matches.

    ReplyDelete
  103. he would not have to tank. i'll beat a shit out of him next week. Oleg, will you play line 1 or 2?

    ReplyDelete
  104. For you Oleg defenders that think he is playing in level, they posted in the 4.0 blog that we won the consolation bracket for 4.0 in the Plano Open. He went 3-1 against 4.0 competition, that makes sense!

    ReplyDelete
  105. when is the mid-season bump this year? Is it in June?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Gerber, are we suppose to believe that you any time you post on here you use your name? Sure you do, and Oleg is the only player in 3.5 that is out of level right? Your full of shit, and if you play singles against Huff. you will be badly exposed! Time to play the big boys not pad your record agains all of those weaklings you have been feasting on...

  107. Quite frankly I don't give a shit what you want to believe, because nobody knows who you are, other than in hiding.

As to your other dumb ass comment, I play whomever is in front of me and that's not by my choosing. And secondly, I have nothing to lose when playing Huffines or anyone else for that matter. I'm a true 3.5 working to get better, so if I lose to cheaters or sandbaggers, what's that going to prove? If by chance however I do win, then who has more to lose?

So post away you sissy little anon.

  110. Oleg said he played college tennis at SW Baptist University to his 4.0 opponent at the Plano Open, anyone know if it is true?

    ReplyDelete
  111. Somebody mentioned in the 4.0 thread that he did play college and then at 4.5 afterwards. Then the spiraling down began to 4.0 and now 3.5. I bet SW Baptist would be proud.

    ReplyDelete
  112. The below post was copied and pasted from the 4.0 thread. Take it for what it's worth:

"he started in 4.5s late 90's and early 2000s as he was supposed to. but then bounced to 4.0s. and then to 3.5s. he's legit. if the computer works right, he will get bumped to 4.0s this year."

Not true, if he played college tennis he will be dq'd in 3.5. His rating is a tournament rating and he never resestablished himself. You cannot have played college and have a tournament rating. He could have a big mistake telling his competitor that he played college tennis if it is true, at least for his 3.5 team.

    ReplyDelete
  113. It looks like DCC or HP might want to find out if Oleg played college because if Oleg was DQ'd they would all be 4-2 being that Huffines only beat them 3-2 with Oleg winning his matches. Huffines would still need to play BH and LTF (which they probably win both anyways), but each of them would have a shot at the playoffs!

    ReplyDelete
  114. If you play college tennis, the computer rating starts at 4.5 which it sounds like that is the rating he started at. He can get bumped down.

    ReplyDelete
  115. A tournament rated player can not have played college.

He is also up for being DQed and it looks like he may have a couple flags already. Next time anyone plays him, do a reverse tank job and lose 0 & 0. That should get him DQed and the match will be reversed anyhow. We'll get rid of these sandbagging cheating sacks of shit one way or another.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Where do you find where someone started? Tennislink I do not think even goes back that far. For example, I looked and saw Oleg played 4.5 tennis back in 2003 ( he was rated a 4.0 though), which is where his history starts on tennislink. Nothing further back than that. Not sure where people show he was a 4.5 rating or that even played college. Sounds like a wild rumor to me.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I really don't care, but I guess I'm bored. If Oleg legitimately started at 4.5, but gets bumped down to 3.5 because play, how can he be DQ'd? It makes no sense. He gets lowered to a level, but can't play at that level because he played college tennis? Please explain.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I guess the question is if he legitimately was bumped down. He is not a 3.5C which is what would happen if he was legitimately bumped down, he has T rating which is for tournaments. If was a legit bump down, which seems a long ways to go, he is fine.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Oleg also has a history of playing in open and men's 25 divisions in 2002

    ReplyDelete
  120. What it really means is that he is not a true 3.5 computer rate and found a way to beat the system. A college player playing 3.5 tournaments and now league play, how pathetic. Pussy = Oleg

I predict he is DQed before the week is over. Poor Ratdick must have changed his diaper 4 or 5 times today alone over this. Why Oleg would let out that he played college is beyond me, but cheaters always get caught in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  121. This just sounds like another Chris Jones "conspiracy theory" and is a real stretch. Move on.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Wow! How many lunatics are here??? We talk about someone we have never met or played.

To Anon who said to tank a match 0 and 0 in order for that guy to get DQ-ed... How do you know that he is not a 3.5? Who the fuck are you to decide? And you are not the cheater of the system?

    ReplyDelete
  123. Even if the USTA came in and DQd him, they would probably then change their minds and re-instate him, sort of like they did with Klein last Fall. I don't think they have their act together. Perhaps they want a bunch of cheaters in the system anyway so whoever does win Sectionals can have a better shot at cheating to win Nationals for Texas. Really is screwed up and sick when you think about it.

  124. Comments on the LTF/Stonebridge match:
Stonebridge played a smart line-up to have a shot at the upset.
Match was tied 2-2 with Line one singles, the deciding match, still on the court. LT BL played a quality match to get the win for LT.
As for the comment that DeMetsenaere can't beat anyone because he lost against Stonebridge - the guy he lost to is 9-0 at 3.5 singles and will likely be bumped mid-season.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Oleg is playing at the level the USTA has placed him at. Don't be afraid of him. He is a good player and is getting better everytime he plays. For all you haters you are right. He looks great when he plays. He has all the technique to look good on the court but still lacks consistency needed. All these people complaining about Oleg. Please he lost in the first round of the Plano Open (local tourney). He won against a bunch of losers. A lot of the losers were 3.5 players. If he would have won or got to the finals in the main draw you might have a point.

Oleg does not make bad calls. If anything he give the benefit of the doubt to his opponent.

Oleg is just enjoying playing tennis and has ups and downs like all players.

    Oleg Supporter.

  126. Marc who would you rather play from Huffines. We can make it happen... Name your opponent.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I would like to play Ratdick, please make it happen.

And say what you want about Oleg, but he made at least 3 or 4 blatently bad calls in his first round. Perhaps that's not always the case, but it was seen by at least a half dozen people. And that match he lost the first round was against a college player by the way and it was alot closer than the second set score indicates. I think the match went on for two hours.

    ReplyDelete
  128. That's funny! My wife and I watched the match too. We did not see any blatant calls. (BTW, blatant is spelled with an "a" not "e"). So, stop lying!
Yes, Oleg improved a lot since I saw him few months back. And, yes, he should get bumped up to 4.0 soon. But I want to see if he can handle pressure against brookhaven, lifetime, and then in playoffs.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hey Oleg Jock Supporter;

Where exactly was it that Oleg lost his consistency? Was it from college play to 4.5, from 4.5 to 4.0, or on his way down to 3.5? Do you really think the blog audience is that stupid, or do you really believe yourself.

Lets see, in 2009 alone it looks like he has played roughly 34 matches at the 4.0 level according to his usta record. And he has won 20 of those matches. But I'm sure that now you will tell us that the other 16 (you already told us about the 4 he beat at the Plano open) were all a bunch of losers as well. Man that Oleg is lucky, everytime he plays at the 4.0 level, he draws only losers which is why he wins. Get your head out of his jockstrap before posting such ignorant crap would you.
